it ruins your thoughts, ruins your relationships, and ruins your perception of life. Which is what I'm experiencing. If you don't find and build healthy habits and exercises to overcome porn, it WILL drag you down to a dark place. Even if you never turn into a sexual predator, you will have a huge dark cloud looming over you that will not go away.

The key is to make it uninteresting, boring, cheap. And also the trap of addiction is being so all in or all out. Oscillating hardcore. Because to cut it out incrementally means you actually have to face the discomfort without shutting off from yourself. If that makes sense. Happens with losing weight or diet too. It's harder for people to be consistent and incremental because that means you're actually doing the work. People will go all in and burn out then revert back and say it's too hard.

Work at it everyday friend. Don't get too caught up on relapses. Remind yourself every day its effects, the benefits of not watching it, the type of person you want to be. Don't make excuses. Acknowledge and remove your triggers. For me, the hardest part was acknowledging social media as soft porn, that also has a negative effect but was always a trigger for me and it was hard to acknowledge it was 'the' problem. I didn't want to hurt my social life so I turned on 'less sensitive content' in settings and deleted apps that didn't give you the option to stop soft porn. Happy to say I can't remember the last time I watched porn or used it. However my path to a better self still continues and I try to commit to no fap completely.

How is it possible that they do not talk about choosing the type of porn? There can be times in the life of a person where they do not have a sexual partner. Some of us appreciate a bit of visual stimulation for self-pleasuring.
"Porn has become more violent over the years" This may be so but what if you choose something aesthetic and consensual?
If right afterwards you feel disgusted by what you just watched you chose the wrong material.

Dr. Joe Dispenza says negative emotions are addictive. No matter what it is. The stronger the emotions the more addictive it is, because emotion creates a chemical in the brain.
The body is part of the subconscious mind, the body starts to crave negative emotions, without you realizing it. The subconscious mind works the same way as a computer program and the subconscious mind is a habit mind, it works 99 - 95 percent of the day. The conscious mind works 1 - 3 percent of the day.
Well, the therapist will not tell you it because you would buy a book about how the brain works and you would unlearn bad habits by using your logic and instincts.
Watch Dr. Joe Dispenza and Dr. Bruce Lipton's videos.

You can’t study pornography in isolation. People watch porn for many reasons. You can be depressed, bored, lonely, and especially the decline of many people who lost the ability to create meaningful relationships in this age of social media. Years ago, I'd go to dance clubs to dance with women and meet new friends. But Nobody dances anymore. Men and even women are sexually frustrated and relieve it by watching porn. It actually keeps men out of trouble. This is not to say I promote pornography, rather, pornography exist because we live in a sick materialistic society in addition to the fact that our understanding of sexuality is retrograde It is infused with too much morality at the expense of understanding sexuality as a natural healthy experience. We make such a big deal about it and a lot of men and women end up with distorted and regressive understanding of it. They act it out by all manner of sexual abuse. We then punish these people, but no one‘s asking why it is occurring in the first place. It’s hard to believe we haven’t figured it out yet.

As a woman it's really unfortunate when you see guys not talk to woman or look at woman as people. There is a certain absence in the eyes and a palpable projection onto us when this happens. Aside from feeling grossed out by it because obviously it's not appealing, it's sad. I do my best to talk to men directed at their hearts and try to tap into their innocent human side. Like hey, snap out of it. Just connect with me as a human being not something to be gotten as if picking something out of grocery isle at your convenience and pleasure. Men across the board have this issue but guys who have it the most are the ones who have chosen not to develop regular interactions with the public, community. Instead on computer or phone excessively. Key is to get in nature, do things away from your phone. Write out (not type out) all the things you value in women as human beings that are honorable, respectful. Start catching your thoughts, when you look at a woman ask am I seeing here beauty with reverence and honor or am I seeing her as a pleasure object? Realize that when you don't make the choice to counter the unhealthy habits you're being a perpetrator not a protector. Women are supposed to feel safe around men, not guard themselves from men.

This has nothing to do with sexual videos. This is in response to the clear desires of women themselves.
Men have learned that women are not interested in men who want to know them as a person.
Men have learned that you must approach a woman with clear intentions of sexual desire and also show your sexual prowress within the first five minutes.
This is the only way that women will want to start a relationship with you. Those are the rules created by women even the ones who are college educated and CEOs. Men such as myself are simply following their desires

If some of them create great excitement, you may try it, or start doing some sport and go to nature. and don't feel shame about previous hobbies. I didn't watch the video but they probably are talking about how you rewire the brain. That just means something becomes a habit. Not only that but also porn is an emotional habit which makes it stronger than normal ones. My guess is they don't talk about how to rewire the brain to get unaddicted. If you really wanna quit stop watching these kind of videos. They just keep you focused in the wrong direction. These videos are rewiring you to think a certain way about porn but that's not the solution. Porn isn't the problem. It's us who are the problem. This video is great for someone who has never watched porn because it rewires them to stay away from it but this isn't going to help the people who already have watched porn many times. Same with cigarette users. Although influence and environment can rewire one to be susceptible to doing cigarettes, alcohol, drugs etc. This is why the ghetto is the way it is. People passing down bad habits to the next generation over and over. So if you are struggling with porn you're wasting your time with these videos. I'm not implying it's too late.
