I think Eric won with his bonus pick: the state of denial he was in as soon as they kicked off.
They need to do a “Snake” snake draft.
A Snake(squared) draft if you will
if they did, im sure "liquid" would appear on that list also.

Gavin goes for the setup and nobody takes the bait! Gav picks Montana and mentions that the sky is bigger there. I had expected at least one of the guys to ask what he meant by that, but no one batted an eye. That said, very bear-brain move by Gavin
This whole draft is a giant bear brain.
I am both laughing and full of rage at the same time. The concept was so simple, and the Vancouver child kicker poured gasoline all over it in seconds.
Gavin clutched it with "nuclear criticality" imo
I'm not gonna lie, I'm with Eric; this episode is hysterical, but it makes me so irrationally angry.

If Eric saw this coming (which he clearly did) it's honestly on him for not specifying.

Y’all crazy I was dying the entire time. If you didn’t expect this to be like the rock not rock draft you’re daft, I don’t think we’ll ever get a completely straight played draft. This was the best draft yet

I feel like at some point, F**kface became less of a podcast, and more hearing a producer’s descent into madness.
In a few episodes, it’s going to be Eric muttering to himself and using different voices for the cast and I’m here for it.
Gavin won because I feel like he finally really learned something about drafting here

As a born and bred Omaha native, Geoff has done his research. I've heard many a description of Ole Bruska, Aksarben, That Corn Themed Wasteland, and yet this is the solidest of descriptions so far enunciated.

I do kinda wish we had just 20 us states at the end of this. My personal least favorite of the drafts because it felt like they were playing monopoly at times and people would come in with ' i won't pay you because you killed professor plum in the library with a revolver'.

I'm born and raised in Colorado, Eric was not lying about DIA. But of course, depends on where you're at. But from Denver to the actual airport, it can range from 35-45 minutes. It's a pain. Lol

As a Pennsylvanian, I am super proud of us going in round 2. We are indeed a big group of weirdo’s and we take a shocking amount of pride in being very weird.
He kind of mashed up a Pittsburgh accent with a Philly accent but it’s the thought that counted.

Growing up in Peoria Arizona my whole life I was shocked to hear what Eric thought about AZ 😂 but it was also very heart warming to hear Geoff defending it and what he said about flagstaff which is where I went to for college, it really made me feel proud to have experienced something Geoff praised so highly, and I agree
Eric is typically my favorite person on most of these episodes, but for him to think California is a first round pick is insane. I know he is from there but that’s about all California is good for.

I’ll be honest, the actual U.S. state picks were BY FAR the least interesting part. If you do the infinite draft options there’s actually funny options or unique things people may have forgotten existed or never heard of. Geoff my have even actually participated if it was like that🤣

Eric complaining about Omaha but isn't that kind of universal, the big city you know of in a state is rarely the state capital. Kentucky: Lexington? Nope, Frankfort. Michigan: Detroit? No, Lansing.
