To be fair to Gavin, there’s nothing more British than taking something from another country and passing it off as your own, so the peanuts should for sure count.

@@DarthSion89 Monster Munch is absoluuuutely divisive, I gagged when kids had those at lunch and they were always the left over ones when there was options on school trips
The entire reason this group got so excited for the crisp challenge was the car crisp and Gavin Doesn't bring it?! "I don't want to eat Doritos, I want to eat a car" Geoff's right, the gang did not bring their best chips.
And then he picked Nik Naks which are indeed just the UK version of Cheetos, over Transform-A-Snak?! That said, they're tough enough to track down here, maybe Eric just couldn't find them if he had.
Becca was a GREAT guest. Meshed well with the group. Didn't try to make it all about herself or put on a show. She had some funny moments and seemed like part of the gang. Well done. Would like to see her come back sometime.
Nik Naks, Frazzles, Twiglets, Pickled Onion Monster Munch, Quavers, Wotsits, I honestly had no idea that my country was this strange with their snacks until now
@implodingnerd Yes, we should all live in a world where things are called Sidewalks, because you walk on the side of the street, or eye glasses, because they are glass you put on your eyes.
Andrew talking about how his BBQ chips have “spice” and then them being bland while his gives Geoff’s chips a 4 because of the spice is insane. And then Andrew says he’s not a spice guy like buddy
Twiglets are the perfect weird British snack to confuse the rest of them though. Mr Bean nailed it when he runs out of them and just pulls a branch off a tree outside his window, pulls the leaves off, cuts them into individual sticks and dips them in Marmite.
So Andrew brings tasteless BBQ chips and knock off cheetos and then complains that American chips are bland but somehow also too spicy at the same time.

So many great and insane choices this time. The fact Andrew tried to bring Canadian BBQ flavor to people who live in Texas was downright ridiculous. I don't even know what to say about Gavin's choices but hearing his reaction to everyone's reviews was incredible
Twiglets was such a shot themselves in the foot moment. McCoys would have been something I would have taken into this. Not adventurous in terms of looks or different flavours, but probably is the best crisp in my opinion when it comes to like the standard range of flavours.
I always thought Kettle chips were from the UK, but after some research I found they originated in Salem in '78. They came to the UK in '87. You learn something new every day!
I think they shouldn't have rated their own chips specifically because of the inevitable 10 out of 10 scoring. Especially considering how Geoff rates his coffee....
I don’t know if any of you guys will read this but I was a big fan of you guys have loads of merch from 10 years ago era of RT, this episode reminds me of then and I hope all the others are the same. Twiglets Gavin really, as a fellow Brit I have to say you're an insane person. Monster Munch, NikNaks and Frazlers perfectly fine though. If I had to pick 4 UK crisps though. Monster Munch and NikNaks make it, alongside Discos and HulaHoops
We the Canadian delegation do not claim Andrew Panton and disavow his bizarre decision to represent our crispy treats with the shameful Old Dutch BBQ chips
I gotta say, ketchup chips are delicious. I think the issue was they were expecting it to taste like ketchup. The worst thing about those chips is the name.
I understand why he chose it, but I believe choosing Lays to represent the ketchup brand was a mistake. It was the first to bear the Ketchup name but so many better options have come out since then
I'd love to k ow the combined scores without the host chip, (I'm sure Gavin would still lose but I wanna see the comparison of Geoff to Andrew without the bias)
Zapp's used to have a sour cream and onion that I would get from Potbelly, and they were honestly the best sour cream and onion chip I have ever had. Unfortunately they discontinued them a long time ago, but the memory lives on in my head, they were 10/10s.
Lays ketchup from here in Canada are like their own distinct ketchup flavor. I feel like Old Dutch ketchup might have faired better. I am glad Andrew went with the classic box of Old Dutch Bar-B-Q. Those are also distinct in the bbq flavor

I'm sitting here thinking the same!
51:43 for the best burn on this show lol.
The best burn in FF history delivered by a guest. Excellent!

The time has finally arrived. Great timing with the recent change to becoming a potato podcast
omg ur so right
except so few potato products were represented lol
It was so great to hear surprise guest Becca! Always enjoy her energy in content

So many great and insane choices this time. The fact Andrew tried to bring Canadian BBQ flavor to people who live in Texas was downright ridiculous. I don't even know what to say about Gavin's choices but hearing his reaction to everyone's reviews was incredible
Gavin is continuing his long running tradition of pretending his opinions wouldn't be unpopular in Britain even though they absolutely would.
Based on the first 15 min I don't think Gavin is gonna be able to go back to England.
