- Having a mousery is a bit like having a village of tiny people, each with his or her own unique little personality and story to tell.

How anyone could harm such precious, timid little creatures is beyond thought .
“A village of little people...”

" And whiskers." 😀🇳🇱
@Nibbler800 they use them like hands
A lot of people don't realize how cute and sweet rodents can actually be
People need to know that when given a chance and not being in a cage all or most of the day, other pets can be amazing.
I cant stress how much I appreciate your love and kindness to mice. It is so rewarding to raise them and see their personalities blossom. These enclosures you've made for them are absolutely breathtaking and it warms my heart to see them respected, unlike how most people view mice. I wish everyone saw them like you do. I rescued feeder mice, and I had to euthanize my last one late last year to cancer but I love watching your videos because it brings back fond memories of them ♡
This is the most underrated comment! 💜

Beautifully said ❤️
What a beautiful video. I love mice. I recently lost my 2 little ones to pneumonia and I was devastated. They were so very sweet and brought pure joy to me. ❤🐭❤🐹💔
I will always cherish our three pet fancy mice and the time we spent together as a family enriching their little lives using your videos. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.❤
Who else loves her set up!!!
😍!!!
if I ever get my own home thats how I want to do my setup.
This is like having a dollhouse as an adult but even cooler because you are caring for these sweet little critters.
We don't deserve these tiny creatures, but I am so glad and blessed they are part of our lives. Thanks for sharing your little sweethearts.
Agree, we dont deserve these tiny innocent angels but lets try to do our best to keep them happy and be happy ourselves.
This reminds me of when I was 15 and had about 35 mice (they kept getting into each others' cages...and, you know) and would give each one a treat. It took ages! And those tiny babies, sigh, so cute
The look on Aurora's face when she gets her food swiped from her. You can see the surprise in her eyes. She didn't even know what happened! At least you gave her another one!
Actually that was little Brampton, Aurora did the swiping :)
@@CreekValleyCritters Aw. Poor Brampton! I love how they swipe even when they have food. XD
Aurora just stole Brampton's food while he was still eating 😂😂😂😂
I laughed so hard at that 😂
That little piggy
I love you and yer little mouse I've had pet mice for past 5yrs n I cant imagine my life without my lil furclan. I enjoy everything you have done fer yer mice
What a nice mousery! Momma and Daddy are still alive and kicking, many litters later.
So glad they are still around :) Those little wildies can live a long time.
I had two very similar mice, tan and white babies called Peanut, and they were so sweet. I still cry over them sometimes but watching other mice play is just.. too calming to pass over.
This owner has the most enviable mouse set up I have ever seen. Blessings on her for her love and tenderness to these precious and underappreciated little mousies!
Right now I give all of my love to my ten wonderful rat boys, but some day I want to adopt mice. They are just the cutest little balls of fluff and love.
My heart and soul feel so at ease watching this.
Thanks to your older videos about clever little Matilda, you've helped me keep two, approx ten-day-old, rescued mice alive. The paint brush method is brilliant, and we are now onto sucking puppy milk out of cruskits! Thank you so much for sharing. xx
I love your choice of music, always.
Beautiful mice so lovely to see them so happy
Awww perfect song with th is video. Thx for sharing
Your channel was the reason I started my own mousery. Thank you for the continued inspiration to do better for my mice, and helping others (myself included) realize how beautifully special these little critters are. Also this video is so sweet and the music is very suiting as well. :)
That is such a gorgeous comment! I hope your mousery is still going strong
Missing my babies... rip Nibbles, Squeak, Nacho and Nomi... your time here was too short... I loved every second of it and still do💕
Always a joy to watch, lovely to see the new babies and that dear Amara is going strong. I will look forward to the next video but in the meantime I wish you and all the mousey boys and girls well, see you soon😊
Dear God, this is so touching, I couldnt handle and cried. Such innosence. Bless your tiny people and you!
God will bless you for loving him and his tiny creatures
Ramiz S me too!
😂😂😂😓😪😂😂😪😂😂😂😂🤣😂😂😂😂😢😓😂😂😂😂😥😓😂
Kept mice for years. Really miss them
This was so sweet it brought a tear to my eye. What a lovely way to start my morning 🙂.
I remember when i was a little kid i used to go to a theme park in Spain called Tivoli World and it had a mouse room which i loved. Basically a raised glass enclosure took up an entire room and the set up inside was like a village, like a mini version of the theme park for all these little mice. I used to stand in there and watch them for ages. But these little homes are even more perfect 💖💙
Your videos are truly just amazing
I always enjoy watching your videos and looking at their cute little faces. ❤️🐭
Archie is so perfectly round!! It melts my heart 💓💗
This little lovely creatures melt my heart so bad
I love this channel soooo much
They are all so very adorable and precious!
So adorable!
I wanted to find a video of mice to show my toddler but wasn't sure that I'd find one in a positive light... Oh my. You're a fantastic human.
Thank you so much for giving them plenty of room and activities, seemingly good food too. They seem so happy and this is just so refreshing to see. Humanity's touch is far from lost and you're living proof of that. I'm genuinely in tears and my toddler is hugging me and smiling.
Much love. ❤️🌱🐁
Sheer beauty. God Bless
You are truly living your best life all these gorgeous happy mice! Thank you for sharing it’s so lovely to watch xx
Such cute little fluff balls!
I have missed your videos! I was concerned something might have happened with the pandemic happening and all.
The mice are all so adorable and big! I didn’t know that mice could get to that size. I almost had a heart attack when you paused before showing Amara and thought she might have passed away 🥺. I’m glad the little family is still all together :) .
Your videos get instant thumbs up
love this channel! Adorable mice💖
This video was so sweet it cheered me up so much thank u x🐭
I have a hamster who is white and looks like you aurora! They even have the same name!
Those are such breathtaking cages! I hope to get mice soon!
This was so lovely and relaxing. Thank you.
What a pleasure to see and a very impressive setup!
I also keep mice and you are absolutely right, they are just like little people. I find they come out when I talk to them and they all have different personalities.
Awww love you cheerio🐭 and shadow🐭
Love your mice & set up! I’ve watched your videos since the beginning and I still love them all!! Great content & keep up the excellent work! 😍
That is a lot of mice!! Excellent job you’ve done with each and every one of them!
That room is gorgeous!!!!! 😍🤩😍🤩
So cool!! I love it!
Im getting my first mouse this fall! Your channel was what got me into them. I’ve been researching for over a year and am soo excited to pick him up!
Male mice are wonderful, but be prepared for the smell and have a little money set aside just in case you decide you have to have him neutered. Of all the tame and cuddly mice I have right now two are female and five are male. This is how it seems to go, making male mice well worth keeping, you just have to be prepared to neuter them in case you find the smell too much to take or he turns out to be a bit too territorial about his cage.
I’m in absolute awe right now 🥺 Your mice are so beautiful and this enclosure!? Absolutely insanely amazing. Thank you for caring for them so well 😭♥️
God bless you and the Mice 💖
I like the natural enclosure. Looks lovely and clean and cozy. ❤️
Tbh, your mousery is mouse heaven. It’s truly beautiful! ❤️
I send love and hope you are well and your mouserie still thriving. I adore mousies. They are so earnest and familial (and soft, in the tiniest, velvety snoot way!).
I wish we were neighbors.
0:56 ol greedy boots 🤣
Your mice are absolutely beautiful
totally adorable !
So wholesome, when I had pet mice they are some of my favorite pets ever. Nice 🐭
So adorable 💖
This can cure my depression
huge number of mice but not the most you have had. All very cute
Adorable 😍
I love your set up and congratulations on another artful and adorable video. I have a sadness. I had a heart rat that I was so super bonded with. I got her as a pinky with two others for that next level bond and used your videos on how to feed them with a paint brush and take care of them. They had long happy lives that I was very passionate about documenting. She has been gone for over a year and I’m still not over it. Very soon after her death I tried to fill the hole in my heart with more rats and now my life is more busy and I haven’t been able to form the same bond or feel the same way towards them. They are sweet so it must be me. Idk if you know how this feels or have any advice? I’ve been a fan for a while now and you were one of the first reasons I considered mice and then rats.
Always look forward, rarely behind. This is how I deal with the constant dying. Some hit you harder than others, but you cannot keep little short lifes if you do not find some way to deal with the constant loss. Making videos really helps me, this way they are never completely gone, a part of them gets to live on. If you are still grieving after a year, the death may be tied to something else in your life, e.g. a change or family situation, maybe she meant more than just a pet, she was somehow intricately interwoven with some other part of your life that you are now also grieving. As you get older, grief becomes an ever increasing companion. The only way to cope is not to dwell on it too much and find a way to always look forward, e.g. some goal, interest or hobby. The reason you cannot bond as closely with your current rats is only partly due to them not being hand raised, things change, you change, it will never be the same. Your life is different now and you have less time for pets. I felt this way for a while after Stuart and Matilda died. I did get new mice: Farley and Pippi, but it took a long time to bond with them because I thought mice who were not hand raised would never be the same as Stui and Mattie. But after a few months I started noticing Pippi and I saw that she too was special in her own way, just different from Stu and Matilda. Once I started paying attention and especially once I started trick training her, I ended up respecting and loving her almost as much, just differently. Pippi showed me that a mouse does not have to be hand raised to be wonderful and she got me started onto where I am now with my mice. Do not fret too much over how bonded you are with your current rats. Give them a good life, enjoy them as much as you can and do not expect things to be like they were with your hand raised rats. Once they are gone, decide if you want to continue keeping rats. Maybe you are at a point in your life where you would be happier pet free or with another species. Things change, go with the flow of things.
CreekValleyCritters thank you for your insightful response. I think looking towards the future will help me reinvigorate. I’v got plans to pimp my pet space and I think having some open concept free roam spaces would be really great for training. Thank you for sharing your awesome space that inspires me.
@@jessthefigment4222 I have kept rats in open concept cages and it can work as a permanent home for them, just not as reliably as with mice. The safest is a cage with a door as their permanent home and then open concept playgrounds in a rodent proof room. A fun thing to aim for and with open concept areas, your enjoyment of them will increase ten fold :) They are not that hard to build, just need some basic carpentry skills and tools and a lot of patience. Make sure you seal the wood with a non-toxic waterbased sealer and reinforce potential chew spots with metal plates. When I do the next phase of cage building, I will be adding aluminium to all edges and vinyl or plastic to the floors and other popular chewing spots. I used to never have such an issue with chewing, but the Percies are incorrigible :P
I had a mouse that looked like sadie. Her name was belle. She lived three years and was just the sweetest. She was a fancy mouse. I had bough two feeder mice that lived 2 years, they were so cute when I walked by their cage in the store. I just couldn't let them be snake food. They all loved each other. I miss them very much.
In lieu of everything that's going on right now, we all need as much dopamine inducing content as possible, and this? This is perfect.
I love mice. We go to pet store sometimes to enjoy them. The little things are pure joy
My aim is to get a setup like this. The pet shop sold me an exoterra 30x30x30cm cube for 3 mice. After some research I realised that was not an okay size, my three girls are now in a 80cmx50x30 tank which is far better, but no way near as good as that setup!
So cuuuute.
I had a baby boy that looked so much like leo. I had to give him up for adoption due to my living conditions becoming toxic in the people who lived near me. They did some bad things that put me, and my pets in danger, and I had to find a new place quickly. Unfortunatly, Mice got a bad rep in many homes. I miss him very much.
Omg precious they look so happy
I feel like crying
2:27 awww!! His chubby body 😘😅
asriel looks exactly like my baby, april!
so cute mice
You've earned yourself a follower 🌎
Your cuties are so greedy. It's a good thing mice don't have pouches like hamsters, or the last mice in line would never get any treats. They're lucky to have you as their Mom.
Why those mice close their eyes when they eat. it's just so CUTE just can't stop watching them eat
I think they close them in pleasure and also maybe because they are so into their food, they feel a little anxious someone might steal it :) They close their eyes when they approach another mouse they are not sure about, especially if they are submissive to that mouse, so it might be related to that behavior.
Lovely
Asriel is from Ubdertale Nice XD 0:13
I know a Mouse named Cinnamon, she and her 36 cousins have moved into my garage. They're undocumented, so don't tell anyone.
Cute*-*
Widdle squeakies!!!!
Me the whole video:
Mouseys!! Ohh hello mouseys, so cute~
so cute!!❤❤
In the next life, I want to be one of your mice. Posh digs.
I swear the only con of owning mice is how much they go to the bathroom and how messy they are😂 other than that they are literally perfect and it’s not even much of a con because it’s not really a big deal
All animals tend to do that lol especially high energy little rodents. Female and neutered male mice are not too bad, but un-neutered male mice are very messy since they are so into marking territory. Overall though I find mice (except for un-neutered males) cleaner and more odor free than rats, guinea pigs and rabbits, mostly just because they are smaller and therefor produce less volume of waste. Hamsters though are in general cleaner than mice, but, at least for me, not near as much fun.
What kind of mice are these? They are the cutest mice I've ever seen! They look like hamsters
My mice are domesticated mice, also called fancy mice. In my line there is a long haired gene, a satin gene and an obesity gene, all of which can make mice look extra cute :) My mice are also relaxed, happy and loved and this shines through.
I have rats, but mice are also really cute
Are you able to tell the Percys apart now that they're older? All of them are little cuties. 🐀
I have separated them out into different groups so now I can tell them apart lol I would be at a loss though if I put them all together again :)
❤❤❤
I love my pet rats and mice.
Names: Sweet Potato, Potato Chip and Cheese Potato are rats
Basil, Rosemary and Parsley are mice.
May I ask how your room is set up? Do they stay in their cage without a door, or can they free roam as they please?
Domesticated mice have a natural caution of heights and most will never leave an open concept mousery. Once a day I allow Archie to run free for an hour or two in the studio because he is un-neutered and needs to run off some energy, but everyone else is happy to stay in their home territory (Caleb is now neutered and living happily with a few girls). They don't leave. I love this way of keeping mice, the mice feel free and they are easy for me to interact with. There is some risk keeping mice this way, but if you have a mouse proof room, it is not really an issue.
@@CreekValleyCritters that's so interesting. I'd love to have a room dedicated to mice one day. Do you breed?
@@anidiotnamedbug8960 I do, but I live in the Yukon, in a very remote part of the world and do not ship. Currently I only breed to keep my line of mice going, since the local pet store is iffy when it comes to mice. Sometimes I do re-home them if the right person comes along. Mostly my intern Rachel and her friends, and someone who drove all the way up from San Diego to adopt one of my mice. Breeding your own comes with stressful, sad aspects, but overall it is the most ethical way to keep mice, you end up with healthier, happier mice and do not have to give your money to breeders who treat mice poorly. You have to take care though not to end up with way more mice than you can handle. Nothing ruins mouse keeping more than WAY too many mice.
Awwwww
What are you feeding them? I want to get some for my Matilda 😊
Mouse people are very cute.
How did you make this beautiful habitat for them? I have two of these beautiful babies and as of right now they are in an aquarium 😢
I don't know if you celebrate Groundhog Day in Canada, but Happy Groundhog Day! My hamster, Sweetie, has gone over the Rainbow Bridge since I last left a comment. I hope all your little darlings are still doing fine. My new little guy is a biter, like one of your mice. I'm going to see if a larger cage helps.
If your mouse is a male, having him neutered by a vet is the only thing that really helps. Male mice are wonderful but some can be very territorial. I have one like that right now, little Finnegan. He gets neutered next week :)
I need the cage setup, I wanna do something similar but with a 40-70 gallon fish aquarium.
