    I like cutting fuel line hose to size and slipping over those locking pliers to prevent damage to anything I need to clamp on to.

    That is not how you set the gap,That bolt is purely for packaging.You should not be telling people the incorrect way.

    When adjusting your tensioner to set it correctly to 4mm why rotate the engine backwards? And how many turns are you going back exactly? My tensioner isn’t @ 4mm and I want to go back and readjust it and I could use tips!

      So I had the same problem. You have to loosen the tensioner take all bolts off except for the bottom nut. Afterwards, pry the tensioner just enough to put the left bolt in. Then the other bolt to the right and make sure the bolt on the adjustment is backed out just enough and then reinstall without touching the adjustment. Then adjust afterwards. Make sure you turn it about 120 clockwise and then counterclockwise to see where the adjustment sits.

    Do you do house calls? Need timing, injectors, and turbos replaced. Do not trust the mechanics around here - they do very sloppy work around here.

    • @overboost8727
      @overboost8727  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont do house calls as I have the majority of my tools here in my garage. I usually have my customers bring me their cars. Since I work full time I wrench on zs on the side separately.

    you do not need to locate top dead center on the piston because all you need to do is line up the dot on the timing gear to the slit on the oil pump. What is this amateur hour?
