Personally i really love to see you back on that drumset with Plini. Your style of drumming on "Handmade Cities" was an absolute inspiration for me and since then, i've been trying to recreate that type of atmosphere in my music (with all that cymbal dynamisms and well constructed fills). No joke, you're style is the best i've managed to encounter. Hope to see more stuff of yours!

Plini is by far my fav artist right now. Thanks for this. I for one truly appreciate the drummers perspective, as I spent about 30 years as a FOH sound engineer, and I spent a good portion of my life mic'ing and dialing in drums. Nicely done.

Handmade Cities is my favorite album of theirs. Your drumming is absolutely incredible. When I interviewed Chris for my channel, the dudes in Tesseract walked by and said “You know that’s not Troy, right?” 🤣 Love Chris too! Love Plini! Love this video! Love that you posted your mistake haha.
It's got to suck to be Chris and be constantly compared to this legend. I think that Chris is technically more capable when it comes to intricate layering of parts, and also plays with a more subtle, jazzy approach. Troy hits like a beast and is an incredible showman - maybe a bit more of a "rock" drummer than a jazz guy. They are both great drummers and I would like to see them share a stage and share songs on Plini's albums; they could tour together and play their own parts, each bringing something unique to the show.
