I'm looking for a monitor (actually 12) that I can use for the lab I teach. I need to be able to monitor CO2 for 24 hours and the students need to download the data to a laptop or PC for analysis. I'd like a precision of +/- 50 ppm for CO2. Do you have a monitor that can do this?
Hello, here at AirKnight, we believe in keeping air monitoring the simple. Therefore, we do not have a data gathering function or data logging function on our monitors. Additionally precision differs depending on how high the CO2 levels are. Sometimes, our devices may be within a +-50 PPM margin or error and sometimes a bit higher. Hope this helps.
Thanks for buying an AK1000. The alarm you are referencing is for CO2. The alarm is set if there is a CO2 reading above 1000 ppm. There are no other alarms, only CO2. To silence that alarm, you can either bring the detector into fresh air so that the reading drops below 1000 or you can change the setting to turn off the alarm function.
@@MichaelVignola Sorry for not mentioning that in my first response. The AK1000 CO2 alarm can be turned off by simply double clicking the left button on the top of the monitor. Note: The CO2 alarm will actually stop automatically even when CO2 levels are still above 1000 ppm if the CO2 levels are decreasing.

How do I recalibrate the cO2 sensor
The 2 best ways are to 1. take it outside and let any accumulated particles / fumes out or 2. Turn it off and turn it back on again.
Can you darken the display at night?
No, this product currently has not option to adjust the screen brightness.
Can we set 24h time?
No, this product is tailored for an American audience and therefore only has the 12 hour clock.
Is there a way to turn off the beeping if there is a high reading?
