O.J. Simpson's glamorous former girlfriend, Christie Prody, was always by his side in the years following his murder trial. But today, she is jobless, living in a bedroom at a house in North Dakota and fighting a daily battle to stay off drugs. In a new interview, she tells Inside Edition how the endless drama of life with Simpson doomed their 12-year romance. "It was just too much," she tells Inside Edition, but admits, "I'll always love him." #InsideEdition

That's true. My best friend used to be beautiful (and she still is) but too many years of drug and alcohol use have aged her a lot. She is 46 years old and she looks way older.

lets not forget, she approached OJ after he was acquitted of murdering his wife, and she started their relationship together. then she decided to stay with him through all his abuse, drug use and all his other legal problems through many, many years. she decided to stay in the spotlight and has nobody to blame but herself for everything. too many horrible decisions to count.

She acts like her time dating OJ was the worst time of her life. No one buys that. She enjoyed every minute of it. All the fame and money that came with dating him was an addiction for her. She was a grown woman, she could leave whenever she wanted. And also, if she really wanted to end the relationship, why was she crying when OJ got found guilty?
No one is buying her lies. She was with him for fame and money for 13 years, and he was no good for her while in prison, so she broke up with him.
I knew Christy, she's honest and badly hurt.

@@lovelyandsmartcommentator5130 I also knew Christy I was a grade-school best friend of from kindergarten all the way to fourth-grade fifth-grade but then we lost contact and because she moved to Minneapolis to live with her mom and after that well they didn't have cell phones back then they only had house phones back that whole lot of people couldn't afford a house phone so if you didn't have their address then you can write them either and so yeah it sucks I hope to find her and I hope all is well with her she's beautiful and I do miss her and I think about her all the time and I'm glad that she got everything she needs for herself her children and I hope all is well with her in her life.

What everyone on here slamming her is missing is… she was on drugs to avoid the reality of whatever she did with him, or accepted for ‘money and fame’ as she said, knowing he killed Nicole deep down. If you think after that, she will be a sober happy person, thats dreaming.

So so sad. Drug and alcohol addiction aged you. Wow. My mom and dad were addicts. My dad was 43 when he passed and I’m now 45. He looked way older than me. And now I’m older than he was.

@@austin8092 thanks brother. My mom committed suicide a year before he passed. She was 37. Drugs ruins people’s lives man. I’m so blessed that I never got caught up in alcohol nor drugs. Thanks again.

Praise God you were spared from indulging in that lifestyle, though, and congrats for wanting no part of it. My uncle too was an addict, which eventually lead to his suicide. Scary stuff. Thank you for being one of the only people in the comments defending her. Even if she met him post trial, all the things people have sympathy for Nicole for should apply to her also. OJ probably charmed her and she fell for it. We all make our own decisions but it’s not an impossible scenario for her to have been swept up in his mess and now traumatized by the whole LA lifestyle plus OJ. It happens all the time. Tons of out of work actors do this. Sad stuff. But not fully her fault, every situation has nuance.

Christie & I were best friends we went to grade school together my brother and her brother were also best friends Barrett we used to spend the night at each other's houses every single weekend he was the greatest and I can't believe that she had to go through so much
I met Christie in Fargo/Moorhead. She was withdrawn and defeated.
