This verdict gave abusers more power. My ex husband threatened to "OJ me" several times. I had to get a protection order and lost so many nights of sleep.
But a not guilty verdict would’ve emboldened the LAPD and they would’ve continued perverting justice. The case went the way it had to go. OJ’s guilt or innocence wouldn’t have stopped your abuser, only you had the power to do that.

Exactly! Because there was no one else’s blood or prints anywhere. The glove didn’t ‘fit’ because it hadn’t been kept supple, they were allowed to dry crushed up, he had rubber gloves on and he was splaying out his fingers. Other evidence shows OJ’s oldest son Jason killed them. He had mental health issues was a chef and carried a boot knife with him & chef knives because he worked the night of the murders. OJ is guilty if covering up for his son. Seems like OJ would have paid Robert the money he’s owed. Karma is real and that’s why OJ got locked up years later. I’d read several books about this. Shapiro was ready to concede, it was written, until Johnny Cochrane jumped in the drivers seat. The low speed getaway driver, Kardashian, would later have nothing to do with OJ. I had so totally misread this trial as a celebrity freak show. I was working inside a bank when the verdict came out and the black ladies were cheering wildly and hugging as if the US hockey team just beat the Russians, and I was stupefied… had no idea it was perceived as ‘us against them,’ or that they wouldn’t identify with the domestic abuse!

One of the jurors was interviewed, and she said she voted not guilty because of the trial before where the four officers were found non guilty for beating the gentleman during the California riots. I completely blanked on that poor man’s name.

You are judging based what evidence they were but so was the 12 people in the jury. Only a handful of people truly know whether or not he is guilty. It is. I wonder about some of the jurors. Remember the Black Power sign one gave OJ as he walked out. The case was as much about race as anything else. I remember African Americans celebrating as if they'd won something after the verdict was announced. Sad moment in history.

Legally he did not "admit" it, but morally he admitted it. But morality doesn't count for facts in a case that's already been tried. OJ totally did it. They found him not guilty because of politics and the fact that they didn't want the black community to riot again like they did with Rodney King before that.
One small detail. Mark Furman threw the glove over the wall at OJs house. Vanatter the other detective squirted blood from a syringe on OJs property and in his bedroom. The sock with the blood on it had preservative in it the kind used by the LA police lab. The blood on the sock went from one side thru the sock to the other side which of course is impossible since OJ was wearing the sock. I think OJ was guilty but LAs finest like usual tried to tilt the scales. OJ could afford a top defense team to counter the bumbling police and prosecution.
I also read once that oj had severe arthritis in his hands and had stopped taking his arthritis meds resulting in inflammation. I have no idea if there's any validity in that theory or not!

The verdict had nothing to do with this case. The jury knew he was guilty as hell. They wanted to send a message to the corrupt, unjust & racist legal system that victimized minorities for eons.
Watch “OJ, Made In America,” it’s an awesome documentary and explains why the jury acquitted. It was more a conviction of the LAPD, and less about guilt or innocence.

I have to clarify something I said for myself because it is important. You did a good job. People worried about how famous he was and all of the city reacting. And, then there were mistakes, and stuff we didn't get to see in evidence. There was too much focus on stuff that only made it worse for him, really. On and on about someone's personal life. So, I was there the whole time..the 13th juror, and I listened, and unfortunately I didnt keep my perspective. We knew, and it's awful. And, so the trial was about many things, and the jury was interviewed and Americans watched as their hate for a complete stranger, and a victim spewed forth. You hanged yourselves, and all the other times too with your attitudes, your belligerence, your story lines, your threats, intimidation, and worse. So, in the last over 6 years with your pals you've done quite a lot, everyone normal suring that trial just couldt believe it. But, people did their jobs. It was how we all felt really disgusted, disillusioned, and depending were you lived under threat, and the things I've mentioned. That day was Judgement Day of sorts. Now, ALL RISE...give yourselves a standing ovation to the beasts you are.

Chuck Nice, the famous Cochran quote. The fact that the glove didn't fit wasn't the main reason why they won the verdict. It was the fact that they played the race card (accusing known racist Mark Fuhrman for placing evidence on the scene), which is why they got Cochran in the first place. The dream team won because they exposed the LAPD's problem which is racist cops. Robert Kardashian had doubts on OJ's innocence (he said it himself). Also, have you seen the 2006 interview? There was a few odd hints that he gave out.

I’d read several books about this. Shapiro was ready to concede, it was written, until Johnny Cochrane jumped in the drivers seat. The low speed getaway driver, Kardashian, would later have nothing to do with OJ. I had so totally misread this trial as a celebrity freak show. I was working inside a bank when the verdict came out and the black ladies were cheering wildly and hugging as if the US hockey team just beat the Russians, and I was stupefied… had no idea it was perceived as ‘us against them,’ or that they wouldn’t identify with the domestic abuse!

You are judging based what evidence they were but so was the 12 people in the jury. Only a handful of people truly know whether or not he is guilty. We are supposed to assume someone is innocent until proven guilty. As his former lawyer said it is a strong chance that the killer hasn't faced trial. OJ did. We just don't know, we weren't there.

I admit it! I killed the bitch!". A Deputy in the next room heard the confession. The DA said there was no expectation of privacy if you scream something. The defense, not knowing if the Judge would allow the statement, scrambled to change their defense to the "battered husband syndrome". Judge Ito, fearing he would be overturned, ruled the statement in admissible. So the defense went back to "he's innocent".

Attorneys are useless. The prosecution lost the case by asking him to try on the glove. Kardashian was also working on the case but more importantly Kardashian got rid of the evidence for his good friend OJ.

After the trial he felt like legal justice was made: I.e. not found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Normally you would expect moral and legal justice to go hand in hand. If he felt like making the distinction at the end of the interview, it’s probably because it’s quite the opposite in this case but he’s not in the position to discuss it
Legally he did not "admit" it, but morally he admitted it. But morality doesn't count for facts in a case that's already been tried. OJ totally did it. They found him not guilty because of politics and the fact that they didn't want the black community to riot again like they did with Rodney King before that.
I saw the glove fit perfectly even with a pair of latex gloves underneath.

My whole theory about that glove is, leather dries up, shrinks and so it never would have fit OJ ever anyway, it was just a show.
One small detail. Mark Furman threw the glove over the wall at OJs house. Vanatter the other detective squirted blood from a syringe on OJs property and in his bedroom. The sock with the blood on it had preservative in it the kind used by the LA police lab. The blood on the sock went from one side thru the sock to the other side which of course is impossible since OJ was wearing the sock. I think OJ was guilty but LAs finest like usual tried to tilt the scales. OJ could afford a top defense team to counter the bumbling police and prosecution.
I also read once that oj had severe arthritis in his hands and had stopped taking his arthritis meds resulting in inflammation. I have no idea if there's any validity in that theory or not!

The verdict had nothing to do with this case. The jury knew he was guilty as hell. They wanted to send a message to the corrupt, unjust & racist legal system that victimized minorities for eons.
Watch “OJ, Made In America,” it’s an awesome documentary and explains why the jury acquitted. It was more a conviction of the LAPD, and less about guilt or innocence.

I had a student, who, on the day of the verdict, said OJ couldn’t have done it because he ran for “X number of yards in one game.” I am gratified to say that as an adult, he feels differently. Again, our values as a society are skewed.

I disagree, i think the most difficult thing a parent could endure is having to see pictures of your child laying in an alley with their head almost severed. But that's just my opinion.

I have to clarify something I said for myself because it is important. You did a good job. People worried about how famous he was and all of the city reacting. And, then there were mistakes, and stuff we didn't get to see in evidence. There was too much focus on stuff that only made it worse for him, really. On and on about someone's personal life. So, I was there the whole time..the 13th juror, and I listened, and unfortunately I didnt keep my perspective. We knew, and it's awful. And, so the trial was about many things, and the jury was interviewed and Americans watched as their hate for a complete stranger, and a victim spewed forth. You hanged yourselves, and all the other times too with your attitudes, your belligerence, your story lines, your threats, intimidation, and worse. So, in the last over 6 years with your pals you've done quite a lot, everyone normal suring that trial just couldt believe it. But, people did their jobs. It was how we all felt really disgusted, disillusioned, and depending were you lived under threat, and the things I've mentioned. That day was Judgement Day of sorts. Now, ALL RISE...give yourselves a standing ovation to the beasts you are.

Attorneys like Shapiro will make sure the prosecution is prepared , has an actual case and is not sloppy. This will prevent a lot of innocent ppl from getting convicted too, so justice will b better served

It was the fact that they played the race card (accusing known racist Mark Fuhrman for placing evidence on the scene), which is why they got Cochran in the first place. The dream team won because they exposed the LAPD's problem which is racist cops. Robert Kardashian had doubts on OJ's innocence (he said it himself). Also, have you seen the 2006 interview?
