    GS is playing great for the most part, but has lost 12 games in the last few minutes because they can't get crucial end game stops. That is where having GP2 to bolster that closing defense could have given us 5-6 or more of those games.

    Coach Brown is the missing piece
    Look at what he's doing at Sacramento...where were the kings last year...where were they the years before that...Coach Brown was our defensive coach...so during games he will change up whether it be zoning or man to man...look at the kings in the 3rd quarter...similar to what gs used to do...

    Actually, here's how you keep both. Rescind the deal, GP2 goes back. They now have 16 players (because they brought in two players in other deals). They have to get down to 15 players. GP2 pressures them to either buy him out or waive him, allowing GS to get him back. Everyone's happy but those MF'ers in Portland : D

    I truly wish things worked out with James, but I think the coaching staff failed to properly develop him and the best thing for him is to be on a team that can give him reps and live with the growing pains of being an uber talented big with little knowledge of how to play as a modern NBA center. Another year of being on the Dubs is not going to help him much. Too bad we don’t have a loan system where we can loan him to another team for the season then bring him back. But I agree that the cap savings is important if we’re going to retain Dray who every game shows why he’s the second most important Dub. GP2 is a great addition and we need his spirit as much as we need his game.

    I think there is a battle of ego's between Kerr, Meyers, Lacob off the court, and Poole and young guys versus the OG core on the other. Two many agendas. JK should be featured downhill to improve the ft/foul disparity and equalize the offense between threes and paint, but JK is being leashed so tight under the guise of 'only the designated shooters can shoot,' creating serious confidence, chemistry, and balance problems on team.

    • @yoooo6896
      @yoooo6896 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Facts while still looking good you can see jk being way too passive at times because he doesn't want to "get in trouble" and Kerr is too stubborn to feature him on offense, same with wise, def could of been a beast on offense if not something else

    • @darylfindley7551
      @darylfindley7551 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@yoooo6896 Totally agree. With Wiseman, he's offensively gifted enough to trade baskets, giving the starters a rest without losing ground, and allowing him to practice defensive reps in an actual NBA game. Instead he was supposed to just set picks and rebound, while less offensively talented bench players jacked up threes and contested twos, and then Wiseman got blamed for the bad -+ numbers. This is the first time since the Oubre debacle that I've lost confidence in Kerr and his team. Just seemed like Wiseman was mismanaged at every stage of the last 3 years.

      10:23 pm GP2 was just playing because Portland cleared him even though he was not physically ready to play. They were more concerned about themselves than his well being.

Kerr playing the young guys actually hone their team defense skills where now they are a better team overall than they were at the beginning of the season. Although I like a couple of the comments, this goes to what I think the tension between Joe Latham and Bob Myers going on behind the scenes. Joe likely wants to keep Wiseman. Bob wants to build a super team. I’m one of the few who feels that this discarding of James is going to bite the Warriors hide in the butt. Nothing is guaranteed and increasingly, a deep playoff one is not in the Warriors cards. That’s going to give Joe serious ammunition that will likely blow up the franchise anyway. Clays not going to take a hometown discount. Draymond definitely will not. And the team has already shown that they’ve turned a few pages by elevating Jordan, Paul, and Maple Jordan, a.k.a. Andrew Wiggins.
    Without Ramen and clay, the Warriors aren’t going to make it to the top hotel, the rest of the team grows into those spots. By that time, Steph Curry is likely to be out of his prime.

    An abdominal injury is not like a bone, joint, or muscle injury. It is much more serious and involves soft tissue and vital organs, which can limit his playing time because of chronic problems as time goes by! This is why Portland wants to trade him! Payton is not going to be able to play like he did when he was with the Warriors before. He is no longer an asset , but a liability to them now!
    I pray the Warriors will get out of this trade even if it means they don't go to the playoffs this year! Keeping Payton would not be the wisest decision to make at this time!

    Dray messed up the chemistry with the punch, and may I say more so with the leak, he stood down as he should have or should have even more so in my opinion. Pool shows he doesn't give a shit like he did in the finals. The team as a whole don't want to play playoff games all season long like they have been having to do to win. b/c the other teams are bringing it to them, & they dont want to be exhausted if they make the playoffs. like the play off game feel of the first game of the season,.so the consistency is not there. As well as they are over confident while they play half ass until they want to prove a point then they get it together temp. Their pride is the issue with the whole team. A lack of management and of consequences on the pool punch is the fault of the organization, causing this horrible chain reaction of an elite team being 28-27. It is common sense to know you can't have physical violence and trust be there as it was in past years. So strength in # 's doesnt work now.
