Case 2 was definitely the highlight of the box for me. It (setup spoiler) deals with Art. If your group is looking for a fun art themed case this was one of the better ones I remember. I'd recommend it most if you are looking for that. And then you'll also get two other well structured and produced cases but not dealing with art. If you like impossible setups or deep character writing don't really think this is the set for you. Much more procedural. Although once again I think case 2 had the most enjoyable writing from what I recall. It is a well produced game. If you really enjoy cold case document based games probably worth picking up. Case 2 might be the one you want to break out and play with your group. It's the one I think would be most universally enjoyed. You are suppose to play the cases in order so you probably want to play case 1 first (don't remember if setup for case 2 discusses case 1) but they are largely independent from what I remember.
I think case 2 was noteworthy in that it made me think you could make a whole series of mystery games focused purely on the idea of detecting forgeries. Always nice (though risky) when a crime other than murder takes center stage.
