Good review. in my opinion the top is: 1: graphgear 500. (good weight, tip weight balanced (the best balance), the best grip) .. 2: graph 1000 for pro, the black mamba ( so light, for me is the best weight. center weigt balanced, good grip even though a little thin ), and 3rd posistion: the graphgear 1000. (for me is to heavy, center/top weigt, good grip). all of them are excellent mechanical pencils, each one has its pros and cons depending of your own tastes, if you chose one of them, you´ll have no dissapointment.
You are right Graphgear 500 is an absolutely fantastic pencil I have one with 0.3 lead it's totally value for money.. thank you for your comment and support 😊
I liked Pentel Q1003 a little bit more than Graph 1000, but out of 3 decided to keep GraphGear 1000 because it can retract. But after trying a bunch of different brands/styles at a store, I would say these 3 were my top choices too. All 3 had stable tips and were comfortable to hold. Wish there were more retractable (with a button) pencils out there. I don’t really care for rotating or auto-extending functionality because it’s not useful for me. But retracting tip I think should be useful for everyone who wants to easily carry their pencil in a pocket or backpack.
Have you even used any of these pencils???? Graohgear 1000 is so good, Because of its grip, And metal build. You actually feel like you have something well engineered in your hands. Light weight doesn't mean It's better! For some light weight is the go. But for me I would choose 1000 for its feel Comfort, And grip. It's So good.
I like that they put the lead grade indicator in the eraser cap in the graphgear for pro, that way you can allign it with the rest of letters in the body, also in general terms i prefer the stylish black mate colour they choose instead of the silver/alluminum, for some reason the aesthetic of the graphgear 1000 doesn't appeal much to me, but ilike the features like the retractable sleeve, however the point of the other model looks more interesting for me, maybe because the tip of the 1000 ressembles too much the design of graphgear 500
The frequency at which the lead breaks depends on the softness of the lead, the amount of pressure applied while writing, The Graphgear 1000 does not come with a shock absorbing system but i did not find any lead breakage while writing or drawing. If you want a lighter pencil you can go for zebra delguard.
Overrated how? It's a great pencil for an affordable price. You're claiming it has tons of issues? What issues exactly, and what evidence do you have of those issues?
@@MybeautifulandamazingPrincess Recently, they uploaded the question on Reddit, "Which do you think,is the most overrated pencil?" Graphgear 1000 was mentioned almost from all the members. I was 1 of them. If you are a collector, you cant see the reasons. Pencil was designed for drawing,so precision control and balance,as also realability matterrhe most. Graphgear 1000,scores low,on all those factors. When the tip of a tool designed for precision, wobbles, its already a useless tool. Add on that, the so many more flaws in its design. Poor balance, grip sucks for precision and control. Pencil breaks in 2 after a while...and those are only some reasons. Graphgear 500,is by far the best drawing pencil and everybody knows that. PS Im Pentel fan because of that and Kerry!
@@greekveteran2715I really don't know why you say it is overrated because of people, the gg1000 is for technical drawing, not for artists, as long as you take good care of it it will last a lifetime, I have one of 5 It has never given me any problems in years. In fact, you can have the plastic cylinder made for a metal one on a lathe...

What should I buy pentel graphgear 500 or pentel graph 100 0 for pro? Please answer me
Thanks for the review. I'm deciding to buy the Graphgear 1000 for pro. Which lead size is the best in your opinion?
It depends upon what size you need, for me 0.5 is good, I also have graphgear 500 0.3 which is a well build pencil.

Soo what should i buy for drawing? Graphgear 1000 pro or graph gear 1000
Both are good depends weather u want heavier or light pencil.
@TheArtslide thanks but where do I buy the heavier one? I can't find a 0.5😢
Nice review & sketch! from Japan.
Thank you so much for your Love & support ❤️
sp basically use shiny graph gear 1000 to show off, use graph 1000cs/for pro for actual drawing😁
What you said makes no sense. The Graphgear 1000 is perfectly useful for drawing and can do anything the Graph 1000 for Pro can do

Is lead breaking problem seen in pentel graphgear 1000? If yes Zebra delguard or Pentel graphgear 1000?

No1 Graphgear 500 and Faber Castell TK 4600/TK9400 = Best drawing pencils in the market. Graphgear 1000 is very overrated.has a ton of issues.
