We were shown around West Mumbai by the lovely Brinda... what a great job she done. From getting thrown out of Prathvi Theatre down to get soaked through by the rain on the famous Juhu Beach and then humbled at Iskon Temple. We then had a beautiful lunch and cheesecake at a must visit restaurant Poetry. Thank you India! Thank you Mumbai! Thank you Brinda! We owe you another cheesecake!

Sarson da saag, gurr di chai, lassi, and makki di roti would literally be the best and the amount of things that you can experience would be amazing. Gurpurab, Lohri, New Year, Diwali and so many more.

14:13 you have to eat the entire leaf at the same time, else you only get the taste of the leaf. Also its better to eat it after the entire street food tour, it helps in digestion.
The Mystery of watching the Sun rise and Set, especially while your feet are in the waters, is that, it resets and re aligns your body's Sarcadian Rythms !
So, especially good for travelers to different time zones to avoid jet leg etc.
Try doing this asap in the place you just travelled to crossing a time zone !

Hello Lawrence, Eleise and Nyh. I hope I spelt it right. Well watching this video, Lawrence you brought me a lot of memories. I was born in Bombay, and I worked at Churchgate. My father worked in, "THE TIMES OF INDIA" nearly 56 years. You are game trying all those foods, especially Pani Puri. That leaf you were trying . It is called Paan Putti. Usually the locals eat that after dinner. I am glad you enjoyed it and so did Eleise. I couldn't speak the language, and I always got into trouble in school. The first beach you went called JUHU beach. I lived about 20 minutes away from the beach. Where I lived was called Bandra. The queen of the suburbs, where most of the Bollywood stars lived. To my left was Mahamed Rafi and in front of our flat was Anand Bakshi. The first was India's famous singer and Mr. Bakshi was a famous song writer. I am sorry to say, I did not like India at all. As I was growing up. I had a lot of arguments with my Dad. My Dad was a very good soccer player, and I used to say to him. Of all the places in the world. You thought of coming here to play soccer. Why did you not go to England or France and played soccer over there. Another thing that annoyed me. Our entire family had Portuguese passports. What made my Dad give up the Portuguese citizenship. I will never understand. My whole life was a Achey, Breakey heart. Take care, and stay safe.

You must visit the cleanest City of India which is Indore, I live here and here are plenty of Awesome things to do and visit, we got ancient architecture, gates, temples, castles and above all Asia's Largest Residential area and ofc the most cleanest ❣️
But above all, our Indore is famous for its food, you can find all the types of food available in India, Asia and in the west.

Any one who is new in travelling to india or infrequent visitor to it,
A word of advice to stop you falling ill with tummy problems.
Avoid local water and even ice made from it.
Avoid cold foods and cold pickles, chutneys etc. As the germs will have bread in these and your immune system wont handle it being used to cleaner foods!
Try and take your own mini filter on travels with you atleast, also try and used well know branded bottled water if needed, but you may still get cheap duplicated local water filled in some, check with locals !!
In a unfortunate slip up and having a deli belly,
Take some activated charcoal tablets, have plenty of clean water and hydration mineral salt sachet you get for dyhorrea.
Also papaya enzymes mix tablets will kill the tummy bugs too !

You can have street food where locals show you like for example your host. You can trust. Some foreigners fond of street food eat wherever they see street food and suffer stomach upset later. Its not like that at all street food centres.
Keep simple rule even when there is no host. Any street food centre you see crowd, you can have it there. If there is no crowd and is not hygienic you avoid it. That's it.
