To answer your question at the end regarding why everybody in India keep touching cheeks of your baby.....In short, its cultural thing that when you see a small baby or toddler, u show appreciation of his/her cuteness by touching his cheek. And the gesture of kissing own hand afterwards is like proxy for kissing. So they want to appreciate his cuteness and being small not by words but by action...This is very common thing among Indians. But I understand that for a foreigner this is very strange and weird. Hope this helps. And also Indian parents don't mind this gesture, or actually they like it but I think its little annoying for Indian children as well but it happens a lot so they get used to it.

The touching of Nye's cheek is an expression that can be compared to a flying kiss in the west. It is popular in North India not elsewhere. If you visit Delhi again please spare a day to visit Akshardham. You won't regret it.

Lawrence when you are walking around in India. One bit of advice, get Eleise and Nyh in front of you, and please becareful of your wallet. One day when I was there. I used to travel by first class. The inspector was checking the tickets, and a couple of the guys their wallets were picked. Accidently the guy in front of me happened to turn around, when he felt something hitting his leg. This guy was dressed well. He had a pocket from his waist right down to his ankles. One of the guys touched his trousers at the bottom and found 3 wallets. They stripped him completely and threw him out of a fast train. Luckily he survived.

Haha......this pulling cheek and playing with the face usually people do in India. It could be with anyone but specially with children someone who is adorable, nice, good looking or someone whom you showing good regards to or someone whom you simply love. Sometimes it happens with adults also, as if with their spouse or their mother is showing love to their children. It's simply a gesture of ' you're soo adorable' specially with kids. And your kid is too good for someone to resist 😍🥰

Delhi is upcoming mega city which is already a mega city in terms of number of people which makes it 3rd largest urban region currently which is poised to be worlds largest urban centre in next 7 years. London is too small for delhi to compare. For your question, delhi has got lot to catch up to make living better for people in such a big urban centre but london is also not any better.

If you are not expert ( like our moms and grandmas😅) you can not tell if it's cotton or not. But believe me if someone in india says it's cotton(even a scamer) then it's atleast gonna be a blend of cotton if not pure cotton. Because cotton is very common here......... And if you ask me the identification, cotton clothes are high y breathable thin and soft to touch(though may feel a little scratchy to touch with fingers but the are soft to skin)
