I have zero interest in the hobby. But every time I a see a growing stack video, it’s an insta click. The tunes, the expertise, the variety. Just immaculate. Wish they we had more!
I'm so happy to see a video from you! I was getting worried that one of my favorite channels was calling it quits. I'm extremely glad that wasn't the case. I hope you're doing well and make more video for us addicted viewers.🥰 Another great video.
I love you Leslie! I will never leave you! I’m sorry for being gone so long, it’s been a crazy few months, but I can’t wait to talk to you every week again. You’re the best and the reason that keeps me going!!!
That is a LOT of copper wire !! That is going to be some super clean copper when you melt it. Very pretty shiny shiny's are born !! WOW, That stack has grown a LOT since you first started it. Great video to watch, thanks for sharing !!
For more compressed bundles. Step 1. After stripping, cut wires to about wingspan lengths. Step 2. Take wire & fold in half multiple times till it's about the length of the width of your palm. Step 3. With pliers or hammer pinch bent points of the wire. Step 4. Repeat steps 1-3 till you have about-face 10 of them. Step 5. Take a Another wire & wrap around folded wire to pack it tight & there's your bundle. Then rinse & repeat. Here's a short to better visualize. th-cam.com/users/shortsosa80UubaQU?si=LZoFFYATLjaGZPaH
Why not build two little winders, one for the plastic and one for the copper core, and as it moves out of the stripper it'll just wind up? No mess on the floor that way. Just saying.
I thought about that a few hundred turns in and when I tried the dowel just spun on the inside. I didn’t have it secured to the dowel for that to work, so rather than start over I just continued by hand. 🤦♂️🙂
It has been 84 years... But HE'S BACK!!!! I never lost faith!

Welcome back. Nice video. How long did it take to strip the wire and peel off the vinyl? At least you got in a forearm workout doing the winding 😀
Thanks Jim! Probably 2 hours total, from setup to completion. I got a workout for sure! 🙂👍
