Hi. It’s Joe.. Copper.. It may be like the old days, in the near future. Buy the copper pipe from the shops and take straight round to the scrap yard and double your money Joe.
Thing I like about your bare bright you don't have that steel armour under the top sheeth when you cut it open, compared to are armoured cable its a pain ,nice melt down, new subscriber from England
I did get the smaller bare bright cable I think we do get that anaconda cable amoured spiral sheath around that cable , yes reckon this would be a pain in the arse , thank you so much mate I will check out your channel & sub back no worries , scored some more copper pipe this week so next video will be copper pipe melt down
@@itsjustme356 Thank-you for subbing back mate 👍, I have some copper pipe but it needs cleaning up brass ends on it all ,I've put aside alot of bare bright and brass for my melting videos this summer. I will be checking out your channel videos they look very interesting 👍
I found that by using clean bare brite wire there is No loss during smelting. I weighed out my copper before and after and it was the same, no dross to remove either.
Hi. Just happened to see your comment on a scrapper in the states, So ….the word is in the next 18 months or so, copper prices will rise due to the demand by electric car and bike battery manufacturers.Joe
How many 5 kg melts would you get out of a gas bottle? Will the copper oxidize in this state or stay bright and clean while building enough reserves to take to market?
Hi there well I'd say i would get 40kg out of a 9kg gas bottle and when you use a brass wire buff it seems to protect the copper more from oxidation not sure why well worth it if you want to do this
Good to see you wearing all the appropriate PPE lol - Great video!
thank you yes i dont want any accidents over 1000 c not good to risk it hey

That's why I don't sell ANY of my copper. I just make bars and hold onto them. Soon I hope it will pay off.
