I want you to know that Carnivore is for real. I started out with a Triglyceride divided by HDL ratio of 2.2 and three stents! It'll be 2 years for me on November. My ratio is now 0.98! Also, the Lacorp NMR advanced lipid test, my small dense LDL went from 865 and last week is down to 214! Cured type two diabetes and high blood pressure and a half dozen bizarre minor ailments and I'm 69 years old. But I also do 20-4 Intermittent Fasting which is God's Gift of super healing due to I.F. Wishing you the best! Never give up my friend, I struggle to eat right, but keep punching away at it, there really is a light at the end of this metabolic nightmare tunnel

BEFORE man sinned, God gave man grains (=seeds) from herbs and fruits from trees to eat. (Gen 1:29).
(Leaves and grass - for animals.)
AFTER man fell, God gave man animals eat but there must be shedding of blood Gen 9:3 (Without shedding of blood is no remission of Sins Heb 9:22 - pointing to the need of Jesus as Lamb of God dying to give us eternal life).
In the New Heaven and new earth Rev 21,22, redeemed man shall eat only fruits again but the leaves of the tree of life shall be for healing - since there will be no more deaths.
(Even animals won’t be dying for men to eat there.)

Got it. From Australia. Stank. Cooked it anyway, in foil. Still had odor. 10% bone, 60% fat, 15% grease in foil, 15% meat. So you pay~ $20 pound for actual meat and have massive mess to clean up. 80/20 ground beef is $5 lb, 100% consumed, no waste, much easier to cook. Same with bacon, just bit of grease to cook with. Why bother?

I'm on a mainly pork carnivore diet. It's been working but I can't say if it would be working better if I was just beef.
I pay around $1.50/lb for my pork ( I live in Thailand) and Thai beef is around $4-/lb and foreign beef starts at $7/lb.
My normal go to is 1KG ground pork and 300g Thai ground beef. I mix it together and the end cost is around $1.85/lb.
I love the taste and it seems to work. Would love to just eat ruminant, but not in my budget.
    Thx for the vid :)

I've heard pork is the unhealthiest meat you can consume. The animal doesn't have any sweat glands so all of the toxins stay within the meat. It's supposedly has the equivalent carcinogens within its meat with one pork chop is approximately one pack of cigarettes.

Beef does work better for most, but you have to do what you have to do to stay in budget. I have carnivore friends that avoid pork. They opt for chicken instead and have better results than they do n pork. That might be in your budget, or maybe mix it in with the pork. Whatever you do, Keto/carnivore is way better than eating carbs, as you know.

    • @Ulbre

@@sinori008 The recipe is just simply mixing them together :)
Pad krapow Moo (Fries Pork with Basil) has been a fave of mine since the 80's :) Mainly I just cook it after I've mixed it.....I add a heap of pepper and salt and raw garlic and some minced onions....yeah I know the onions and garlic are not carnivore but hey...way better than cheating with a Mars Bar!!!!

@@Glen.Black. I did a lot of chicken three or four years ago when I was starting carnivore because it was half the price of pork.
My results skyrocketed after I went to mainly pork.
I imagine they would skyrocket even more so if I went to Beef.
. The biggest battle is never the meat choice but always sticking to carnivore. I have also read that beef helps there too.
You are 100% correct though...what I am doing is way better than a carb based diet and I feel that I may not even be here if I had stayed on that path.

Chuck eye steaks use to be a cut butchers kept!
When smoking, I will take a fatty meat and lean meat cook them together in the smoker. If you have shelves on your smoker like I do. I put the fatty cut above the lean meat and let the fat drip onto the lean meat. If I smoke brisket, I save the fat I trim off an put it over top of lean meat. It totally makes these lean cuts so much better.

My friend and I are following a Carnivore diet. I have been doing it for 7 months now and I've noticed significant improvements. I am sleeping much better, I've returned to my high school weight, and I have a lot more energy. What has helped me is drinking pure LMNT salt water every day for the minerals and to prevent any cramps. Additionally, it has helped heal my psoriasis. As a bonus to the diet, I also managed to heal a small case of gynecomastia in my left breast by taking Lugol's Potassium Iodine 2% (8 drops in water in the morning) and 100 mcg of selenium twice a day. It's incredible to see how much our diet can impact our health, especially when compared to just taking a magic pill prescribed by doctors.

    • @decolonizeEverywhere
      @decolonizeEverywhere 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@alangeorgebarstow yes, and they all have different names because they're different things. American bacon along with Texas BBQ goes back to the time when Europeans came to the American southwest with their domesticated pigs and cattle, and encountered the Mesquite tree, which the natives had been using to smoke and Preserve meat for thousands of years prior. Cured and smoked Pig cheek is guanciale, not bacon. And what you call streaky bacon is no doubt called that because you didn't know the Chinese name for it. Canadian bacon and back bacon are not the same thing. Canadian bacon is not smoked and back bacon is smoked. Cured and smoked pork belly came to Europe by way of the Chinese who taught all of you how to cure and smoke meats because they had been doing it for thousands of years. Streaky Bacon came from China along with the apple trees used to smoke the pork and the domesticated animals themselves. Chinese domesticated pigs more than 10,000 years ago and about 3500 years ago started making what the Germans and French would later refer to as bacon. You can call it Canadian bacon or back bacon if you want to, but it's not bacon anymore than a smoked and cured ham even though the preservation process is exactly the same. The specific product that you refer to as back bacon is variation on a German product that you also don't know the name of called Kasseler. But most Mediterranean cultures have their own name and recipe for a cured smoked pork loin. None of them but the UK call it bacon. They all have their different names for different cuts of cured smoked pork.
I never understand why people from the UK are always arguing about what things are called when you call cookies and don't even have a word for actual biscuits in just pretend that you're confused and think it's a cookie. They have to call potato chips crisps because they call french fries chips. And all because they just can't get past the idea that the French Americans and Germans invented these foods and named them, and you have spent so much time over the course of their existence fighting Wars against them they don't want to use their words for the foods or give credit for anything they invented. I happen to have lived in the city of Saratoga Springs New York where the potato chip was invented and to this day they are still called Saratoga chips and often found sitting on the Shelf at the cash register right next to a cooler full of Saratoga spring water. There's a trail of Nations across this world that the UK has invaded and occupied and spread their food misinformation to. It's the reason why Indians and pakistanis call potato chips crisps, cookies crisps and french fries chips.

Aldi sources it's meat products as locally as is practical. Lamb is available where I live in MN, but that cut is never found at my nearby Aldi. Aldi is my go to for chicken which I eat often and pork which I don't eat very often at all. I buy my beef at a local, independent grocer. When I am feeling a tad "rich," that independent grocer sells select grade beef tenderloin for around $13 a pound. It is as tender as you will ever experience. About three times a year they sell 80/20 ground beef for $3.49 or $3.99/lb in five pound bags. It is always "clean." I.e. no gristle whatsoever.

That is an awesome piece of knowledge I had not thought of. I have always thought lamb was expensive so I have never looked at it. Now just a hint for a better cooked meat. Smoke that for a bit to get a good ring and flavor then wrap it up in foil and slow cook it for a few hours (I do 4 for something that size) at around 250-275 F and it will be fall off the bone tender and taste much better.

The best foods on Carnivore is greasy and messy. After I broke my sugar addiction on Carnivore I started craving red fatty meat. My experience on this diet which it shouldn't be labeled as a diet as much as a way to get healthy, losing weight is just the icing on the cake. after this got my body to its natural weight I eat 4-5 times a day and sometimes snake in between and never gain a pound. This for me a many people will be more sustainable for long term because you can eat as much as you want. One thing I learned on the Carnivore is everyone's fat burning is different, the key is to figure out how much fat it takes to run YOUR body and if you want to lose body fat just consume less fat than your body needs in a day. Example- If it takes 50 grams of fat a day to run your body, eat 30. For me I know the difference in how I feel if I'm running on my body fat or running on fat I've consumed. When my bodies running on fat consumed I have all kinds a energy, vrs burning body fat I feel drained because the body has to go through that extra process.

Dude I am impressed with your knowledge. The fact that you stated high fat tells me you know what you’re doing. I will add an interesting tidbit that Sheep/Lamb will not normally eat anything but grasses left to their own in a field. They won’t normally eat corn nor chicken shit that is fed to cows. Thus the fat is more likely to be a better ratio of omega 3 to omega 6. Cheers, From a fellow Carnivore medical doctor, advocate & nutritionist. Dr. Ginge
America should do their own personal experiment of a strict Carnivore ketogenic diet. For at least 3 months. Without strict adherence you won’t loose the sugar addiction or appreciate the difference. Paul Saladino is simply wrong about honey & fruit daily for a toxic metabolism. Get healthy and then once in a blue moon you can indulge. But as you’ve healed your body through the ultimate elimination diet you will not likely go back to being a sugar addict. 😁.

The oven was the better way. One cut was horrible, there was barely any meat on it, and the other one was wonderful but not even worth the $3.99 a pound. The third one I bought I gave to my dog raw.
