Yeah I heard the first few seconds of the original one actually as I was scouring the internet to make sure I do a complete job here and I was like oh wow lol 🤔
Yes and no. The guitar is absolutely better in this version. It did lose one subtlety that the original had. If you listen to the intro of the original, right after the marching drum beats, you can hear a hint of the One-Winged Angel intro. Very brief, very subtle. Always loved that touch
I didnt really get what Zack meanr when he said "so you knew it all this time" just before the battle. And "why do you always push it on me". Can someone explain?
I didn't get it either at first but I think I might get it now. Before the fight with Genesis Avatar, Genesis was very degraded. He looked old, grey hair, lots of cracks all over him. Then he absorbed the power of the goddess, which turned him into a huge monster, and then Zack destroyed the avatar, thus returning Genesis back to the way he was before he was poisoned by the mako energy. So he says he found his own salvation at the cost of the goddess' eternal slumber. So he used the goddess and Zack to get healing which was his plan all along and Zack saying "you knew it all this time" was him realizing that. The pushing on me comment is because Angeal and Genesis and Sephiroth all forced Zack to fight them and he didn't want to do it any of the times, but reluctantly did it anyways.
My theory is that Zack realizes the connection between Genesis and the giant materia in Banora Underground has always been something Genesis known long ago and destroying the Genesis Avatar is the only way to stop it from crushing the Planet. I think Genesis didn't really aim to find a cure, because he was disappointed when Minerva rejected him from the Lifestream. I mean, who would even be disappointed to be allowed another the chance to live if they are not aiming to die at first? Of course there are many ways to interpret this, just as there are many ways to interpret LOVELESS... 😶
@@Manwes_Inspiring_Trax Well yes, I can't say for sure that my interpretation is the right one but there are many proofs that Genesis committed suicide in Modeoheim (but failed) along with his line before Genesis Avatar battle "We will all join the Lifestream, you are no exception", it directly points that Genesis knows what he gets turned into will be the Planet Destroyer and such, he can only trust Zack to destroy it for him. He may have wanted to find a cure for himself before Modeoheim but after that... Well, he knows where to get the Jenova cells (as he appeared in Nibelheim) but why didn't he take it? It can only be that he really doesn't need a cure at all.
@@reicabalza3861 I will admit that Rick is better, but that seems to be mostly poor voice direction in Reunion, the new VA is good in Integrade, and they fixed his line in Reunion that was messy in Remake. As for the song, the guitar and overall quality is top notch, but they're missing the militaristic drums that were key in the original.
The level of "bad-assery" here is over 9000.
Aside from Zack, and Cloud, Genesis is my favorite character
@@Love_39hrefjisgfo :O A GENESIS RHAPSODOS FAN?! Nice!
Is that an Evw reference? Also I too love Genesis!
This song definitely benefited from the remake.

@@Manwes_Inspiring_Trax I believe the original had Combat Boots. They changed the Rhythm in this one. Still cool.
I preferred the boots version from OG, but the rest is greeeeat!

Why didn’t we get the full ost only a mini ost for the game that consist of 6 songs
As if this song couldn't become any more AWESOME!
This is the only music that I think is better than the original.
Thanks for the upload.
"I'll take the world with me!"
both this and the original are peak
Kinda wish they kept the marching boots sound effect but legit my only nitpick over remaking this theme. X3
Some of these remake songs are great and some of them are just weird because they replace some instruments but overall it's pretty damn good
This is great but I actually prefer the original ngl

Where can I find FF7 Crisis Core Reunion OST? Is it on Apple Music? I can’t find it anywhere
Right here and soon on Rumble
Why is everyone…pushing things on me 😢
A bit disappointed that this didn't top the crisis core version. Not bad though
I prefer The Original OST This Sucks and The English Voice Actor of Suck I prefer Rick Gomez as Zacks Truly Voice
If by "suck" you mean "not as good in my opinion" then we're straight because I think both the song and Zack's VA are excellent ;p
@@Manwes_Inspiring_Trax No It Sucks Both VA and The Remake of OST
Nah they don't, you just don't like them and that's ok@@reicabalza3861
