Fitting that this is an hour long cause well.... Minerva's Hard version has the most HP out of ANY Final Fantasy enemy to my knowledge.... at an absurd 77,777,777 HP.... Now just imagine if 9999 damage was the most you could do in 1 hit....
Accoeidng to the FF7 lore: Zack defeated Minerva in 5 minutes or less eithiut using magic or materia. Only a small amount of fans know this, so this secret boss is actually tied into the lore of FF7 entirely. Zack went on a mission during the time skip after Angeal's death and Zsck happened to run across Minerva's path and he was forced to fught Minerva. However in gane shes a secret boss fight and I bekive playing on hard mode the fastest time you can smack her is 5 minutes which is accurate to the lore. After Zack defeats Minerva he would kayer be called the "Unsung Hero". Many people have heard if this name before but not much people know that Zack is the Unsung Hero that smacked Minerva. Lets see how Minerva will return in FF7 Rebirth and will Zack fight Minerva again.
@johnpettiford6547 to be fair, it was an entire battalion of Shinra infantrymen (300-1000 troops) with full air support vs Zack who was weakened from hojos experiments, on the run for a year, broke, and possibly materialess (idk where he keeps his materia but the slots on his sword are empty during his last stand). Despite all that, he still almost won against them. He just ran out of gas at the finish line.
also just noticed that you have your own gameplay over this and didnt use costly punch, well done damn. What did you use? Im still yet to bear her on hard (switched to normal beaten her then switched to hard again oof. I'll get back to her on hard one day, maybe even during my cursed ring lvl 6 run).

Luckily there are way easier methods later in the game lol ;p and potentially even this early in the game as well if you want to grind the snot out of gil and use gil toss
The fight in which I finally beat her on hard mode lasted over an hour from start to finish (not counting the times she killed me). I used high jump, so it was one hit at a time.
