Paccar should should have recall this issue shame on then just got a 2020 400k possibly need repairs over flowing coolant. Will kit fit 2020 t680.? Any links to the kit. Thanks.
The torque spec for the head bolts on a Paccar MX-13 air compressor is 48 inch pounds for the five small bolts and 1.5 pounds for the four main bolts. After torquing, turn the bolts 90 degrees.
@ I used wrench and hand tied them to the best of my ability, I notice one of them was loose after few days so I tied again. Should I take them to someone who know how to do torques?
Terrible design. At the dealership we just put a new head on it, the latest engines don't have a head kit from the factory and you have to replace the whole compressor which is a giant PITA. Get the coolant pipes if you're going to be taking them off, 90% of the time they break off in the fitting no matter how careful you are. Then you have to get the broken piece out of the fitting, I use a 12mm tap to thread into it and pull it out. Or just replace them.
Hey Brian, I just found your channel, and I subscribe today.

Do you know if that kit will fit a 2018 paccar mx13? Looks the same as mine.
Idk try google
Tell me your compressor part number , I'll help you
Did this solve your pressurizing air compressor problem? I have the same problem.
Yes it did also noticed air buildup is faster
Did you end up using certain torque?
