That's because the first gun of each class Varies per faction (the put a example: the Specialist's first gun depends of the faction you are playing at the moment (Valken 38x for the Clone Sharpshooters, E-5S for the Assassin Droids, DLT-20A for the Rebel Marksmen, DLT-19X for the Scout Troopers, A180 (in Sniper configuration) For Resistance Marksmen and DLT-19D (in Sniper Configuration) for First Order Stormtrooper Snipers)), The other 3 are unlocked by Making Kills with the Class: (in the Specialist's case: 50 for the IQA-11, 200 for the A280 CFE and 500 for the NT-232 Longblaster) and also you can get attachments for the unlockable weapons by making a set amount of kills with each weapon for each attachment. there's no attachment to the standard (the first) weapons all of the unlockable things i mention here are achievements so check on them

starwars weapons work by exciting gasses(specifically tibbana gas ) through electricity to turn it in to plasma. This is also called ions in physics. The ion beam made by the plasma is then focused by a crystal and accelerated through a series of electrostatic electro magnets. Although, yes the do have things that are similar to a laser. Such as a laser uses electricity to excite a gas for it to release photons(BTW light is technically radiation) but anyways, the photons are then focused by a lens to get a laser.

This video gave me a sense of pride and accomplishment.
I realised that the 1st weapon of the 4 weapons for each class is actually standard issue weapons for each faction whilst the other 3 are unlockable weapons from each era.
Dice royally fucked up on how the weapons in question perform. Very few weapons perform the way they’re supposed to.

The "Toxic gas" you talk about is actually Acid it might look like toxic gas but it is an acid cloud
The real toxic gas is from Bossk's Dioxis grenade and it doesn't affect droids (Obvious) and Stormtroopers (Due to the fact their helmets do have more advanced filters when compared to the clones specially the First Order's as the can set them to filter Bossk's Doixis cocktail)

It's for authenticity reason, but don't worry, DICE just needs to copy-paste and then edit the starter weapons to make standalone versions with unique stats and modifications. Honestly I'm guessing within a month or two we'll get quite a few new blaster to use, level and mod (and apparently some from Battlefront 1, people datamined shit like the T-21, which right now isn't used yet)

In this one game Kamino, I was playing as a clone and I was with abunch of Assaults, we were low on health due to a grenade so I was next to a railing outside this guy throws a electric grenade from assault class and my body did the "being electrocuted" animation and the worst part was my body went over the railing while shaking from electricity and I had to watch my body fall into the water

The available weapons in multiplayer should be faction locked. I f***ing hate seeing clones using a first order blaster and the other way around.

The only thing that KINDA bugs me is seeing rebels and droids with first order weapons. Other than that though, I’m glad most weapons are available to everyone. A lot of OT weapons have canon origins from before the PT, as do ST to the OT period. The DL44 for example, appears in every era, and a few of the blasters introduced in TFA actually appear in Rogue One like Rey’s pistol, the M45 heavy blaster, and a couple others (due to the fact that the Resistance use a mix of New Republic and old Rebel tech).
This the same stupid shit as in Battlefield and post COD4 Call of Duty

The ROF on the a280c is slower than the lastgame. That's what made it different from the e-11 and other assault guns.
The A280C in this game is based off the rifles used by the Rebels in the movie 'Return of The Jedi', but the A280 in here (well it was the A280C in BF1) was the Hoth Rebel assault blaster...

The TL-50 Should've been replaced by T-21 (missing weapon in heavy class). So you can only use the TL-50 when you play as Iden Versio, same as other Blaster-wielding heroes/villains that only uses certain Blasters that is not available from any infantry class loadouts.

It's a slugthrower scatter gun (which basically means uses actual shotgun shells instead of energy bolts.)

Chris Plays Games it's not laser. It operates by ignited plasma which acted like an incendiary bullet

Some of the guns such as the DC-15 us tibanna gas cartridges that when the trigger is pulled some gas is released the the energy cartridge releases energy turning the gas to plasma then guided through the barrel with electromagnets that shape and form the plasma bolt. To my best ability the recoil is caused by the beginning of the firing process. Wookeeipedia should explain it better.
