- At the end of it's lifetime, Battlefront 2 has 63 blaster rifles each with unique models, sounds and gameplay. I spent a lot of time on this video and I'm very happy with how it ended up so I'd appreciate you drop a like if you enjoyed it!

That’s more than I thought, especially considering this wasn’t counting the Sentry and Vanguard modifications, and some reinforcements like the Death Trooper have improved versions of infantry blasters.
Bob Jones yeah! I didn’t include the Death Trooper as it’s exactly the same as the Assault E-11D just more powerful but you could still argue even that feels different

I love the design and sound of the dlt 19 blaster rifle
A mix of the german MG34, MG42 and probally MG3. :D

@@v12ts.gaming no it has a mg 42 body you can tell because of how fat it is and the barrel is a mg 34 barrel coverd with weird rubber strips and stuff just like the e 11 it’s really cool how they mix up real guns to make there own new one
I really like how they made the default class weapons vary depending on the era and faction, it was a nice way to give each trooper the proper weapon. There are a few weapons I would change personally, but I really just wanted more weapons from BF1. To me, all we need now is the DT-29, the A180 (maybe as a starcard idk), Cara Dune’s weapon from Mandalorian, and the E-22.

The Assault Clonetrooper’s blaster is actually the DC-15S.
That's not what it is called in Battlefront 2
The DC-15s is the legends name for it.
In new canon it's now called the DC-15a.
and the DC-15A was the legends name for the Heavy Clone Trooper's Blaster
There's two DC-15As in canon now: the DC-15A blaster rifle (long repeating blaster) and the DC-15A blaster carbine (aka DC-15S in Legends).
There's also the DC-15LE, a variant of the DC-15A blaster rifle, and the DC-15x sniper rifle, a modified DC-15A blaster rifle for sniping.
I wish the default blasters weren't all the same
Whilst true I’m glad they spent the time to make them all era specific with custom sounds etc. Using them still feels unique despite them having the same statistics
@@HarrisonJames fair enough the sound and fire rate seem a little bit durent with all of them bur I just don't want a cool DC-15A to be the same as a crappy e-11

The Clone Assult DC-15"A" is actually the DC-15S (Carbine)
No one knows, why EA/Dice messed that up never realized it.

It’s surprising to think about, even counting all faction defaults as one weapon (because all the stats are the same) there are still 20 guns for troopers. That is only two less than 2015’s battlefront, and people still believe that game had significantly more weapons.
@@nathansmith1677 But there's still more weapon's Dice could've added like the NN-14 blaster pistol or the CA 87 used by the Jawas.

I think its because a lot of them are locked into the heroes and reinforcements.
Kind of a bad choice imo.
I wish the trooper blasters were in first person but I understand the design choice. Nice video!
I appreciate the feedback! I felt like keeping it consistent as you can't use the reinforcements or heroes in first person but I agree that first person would have shown off the blasters better. That's why I tried to show them off in the menu first

I would’ve liked to hear just the blasters with no music in the background. Other than that, good vid! I especially liked how the factions and heroes were shown on their respective maps/home planets.

The clone trooper's standard-issue default blaster is called the dc-15s, not the dc-15a. My favorite assault weapon is the el-16 hfe stock mod!
Here is my weapons knowledge of real life weapons in the Star Wars universe.
E-11(/F-11D): custom build up on.
the Sten-gun
A280(C): based of STG-44, MP-44
and MP-43 mix of
EL-16HFE: Custom build, based of
the G36C
DC-15(LE): Stock and casing is same
to MG-3
DLT-19: Mix of MG-34 and MG-42,
probally also of the MG-3
M-45: based of M1919A4
Valken-38X: Based of FG-42 (with
ZF-42)
Edit: there're a few more, but I can't name them all, right now.

NT-242 it's practically the 50.cal Barret with few differences
The Vanguard is the spas 12 but totally modified
Dlt-19 is practically an MG-34
M-45 Is an M-60 but modified
RT-97c it's an MG-15

Oh, yes.
I mistook that with the Sten-Gun.
The standard A280 and A280CFE are based on an AR-15, while the A280C is based on the StG 44.
The DC-15A carbine, DH-17, E-11 and E-11D, and F-11D are based on a Sterling SMG
The M-45 is based on an M60
DLT-19 is based on MG34
Valken 38x has a receiver of an FG42 and a barrel of an MG42
DC-15A Rifle has a receiver of an MG34, but has a barrel of an upside-down Sterling SMG.

You forgot the heavy s z6 rotary cannon middle ability other than that is a very good video
But in this video, they included the Rotary Cannon by the hands of the Ovissian Gunner, so it's not necessary.
I'd also like to add that I didn't know that named characters had different blasters such as Chewie and Phasma, I thought there were standered Wookie Bow casters and the standard F-11 Blasters just that she had hers chromed to match her armor.
Also great to know quite a few of these has names too such as Bossk's rifle for example, really like how you increased my knowledge of Star Wars Blaster today. Before now I only knew (or rather names of and sounds)of the standard DC Clone weapons, and standard Droid, Imperial and First Order stormtroopers blasters and well as Hans, and the Z-6 and the Droids build in blasters as well

I remember the first EA Battlefront has a wider range of blasters to choose from, even when using the same blaster used by heroes, now that has changed...

Mine is the ST-W48 (Sith Trooper)
The Ewok Hunter Bow is obviously the best.

I'm pretty sure the bf2 Sith trooper code contains the rule: only stop sprinting to fire your weapon

@Harrison James ...uh I'm not trolling or anything but the dt-29 blaster Orson Krennic's heavy blaster pistol is available in dlc
Fun fact, the DC-15LE is actually an Empire era blaster reserved for the Purge Trooper Commanders, not a Clone Wars era blaster.
If you go to Grand Army of the Republic on Wookiepedia, under weapons and equipment, you'll find that DC-15LE is a weapon from the Clone Wars era.

The EL-16HFE is the best infantry trooper weapon in the game + it has a very cool design

Harrison James well the old battlefront 2 from 2005 did this, and logically it would make sense, if you look into the lore and all. That and it gets boring with the same overheating problem, with no real challenge or issue of running out of ammo.
@@Nebulasecura star wars blasters generally can fire 300-500 shots before having to reload, some pistols as much as 700, and I don't think most players would survive long enough for that.

Adrian Ting I didn’t include the variants of weapons otherwise we’d be here forever (e.g. all the class weapon modifications) but still a good point! Just shows there is a lot more variety in the weapons of this game then some may think

Instead of having the default weapons for certain era infantry, they should've have them all as choice of weaponry and give them some attachments as well, ik they won't be new weapons, but you'll have even more variety of weapons instead of 5 for each classes

CT - 7056 showing off Iden’s Pulse Cannon and her secondary fire and Chewbaccas Bowcaster behaves absolutely nothing like the Wookiee Warriors. Finn’s gun is literally reused but does more damage

It's the similiar model for the Obvissian(?) Gunner.
I didn't want to show off the same weapons twice as there are quite a lot of reused blasters in this game. The Ovissian Gunner also uses the Z-6 Rotary Cannon
Fair enough, but again (hate to be that guy lol) she does *technically* use the Z-6B. Honestly not a big deal just me nitpicking
