- When you think about a Ferrari it's impossible not to mention the unmistakable soundtrack of the engine. Among the Ferrari's produced over the years, the 360 Challenge Stradale is possibly the best sounding V8 model and thanks to Scuderia Baldini I realize my long time dream to jump onboard a CS and drive it flatout in the tunnels and then around Vallelunga racetrack with the company of Stefano " Secondotestomale ", friend and owner of a Ferrari 599. The CS I have driven is even more insane as it's finished with a spectacular Rosso Fiorano paint and it's fitted with a straight pipes exhaust!

Loving the genuine emotion you guys show. Im in the minority when I say I will sacrifice speed for sound, feel, looks and emotion. This newer generation gets too caught up in numbers, which are important, but not the be all end all for a street car.
P.S. I love that steering wheel which looks like the gorgeous Nardo wheel but with a tasteful airbag. Safety is everything but those old wheels just look so amazing (reference Pagani Zonda)

I watched this with subtitles on. In the tunnel the closed caption reads *eargasm intensifies ha ha yep that perfectly describes the look on Marco's face right there. He looks like he's having a "crisis" lol. What a truly amazing sound. No one builds V8s like the Italians

Incredible video ***** I too agree that the exhaust note from a 360 sounds incredible even without straight pipes and a decat. I also feel that the 355 and F50 sounded incredible as well. That was and always will be the true sound of Ferrari in my opinion. Now days all the new cars sound so synthetic. Up shifts sound more like a manual transmission compared to modern dual clutch transmissions, don't lack drama, don't sound flat. And that is something I like.
For me the 360 cs or any 360 will always be number one in my heart.

Ho potuto girare con questa macchina,se pur da ospite(data l'età)per diversi anni,non c'è stata Ferrari che mi abbia dato emozioni come la 360CS.
I agree the 360 just had the sound that the 430 or even 458 could only dream of but, while watching you drive you really can see how the transmissions of these cars has changed the performance of them.
How the hell does Marchettino keep a straight face with him next to you...laughing my head off at that guy...this is why you keep the Italian car industry in the hands of the Italians...Passionate and crazy
