Everything was so bad befor Slide Fishing. I lost all my fish, I was not able to throw far out, I couldn't sleep all night, my sexual life was down. Can sliding be used on a braided main line? Maybe an 80 lbs braid?
Bill Andrew Peralta yea you can, but we prefer mono because there less chance of burnoff if a good fish hits the bait before the slider reaches the stopper. Check the FAQs below

feri Veysi every sydney ledge has livebait at some point. You just have to burley hard, try different techniques and rigs if you are not catching any.

Wang Chris yes a cliff gaff or very slowly raise the rod and wind in fast as you drop the rod tip down again. I always feel like I’m going to snap the rod but hasn’t happened yet.

SuperTAmbro not sure of the name, it's between lurline bay and north maroubra. But if you are going to fish that area be very careful, it's a high spot.

what if the grapnel sinker stays stuck to the bottom ?
blaki we only use 30lb mono to the grapnel sinker, if the prongs don't breakaway the mono normally does and we loser a sinker. So far I have never hooked a fish and remained snagged.

Nathan Martin not really no, obviously it happens sometimes, but no more than when we bottom bash.
Awesome thank you. I hear of people calling the weight a “sacrificial” weight. I guess there is always a chance.
Nathan Martin honestly I think I’ll lose 1-20 casts...probably jinxed myself now, but that’s normally the ratio.
