Castlevania Revamped is a fanmade remake of castlevania 1 for the famicom disk system/famicom/nintendo entertainment system on PC and mixes elements of the metroidvania style with the classic platformer style. it came out on March 9th, 2024 and is honestly the best fanmade castlevania game i've seen and played. hope you enjoy the run, more to come soon TM.

You still waste some time miscalculating hitting some candles (when you whip some with the straigh forward attack while mid-air, you still ground the "floor", not able to move forward for the whipping animation is not finished yet)

wouldnt it be slightly faster to slide towards the exit after whipping the shopkeeper and waiting for the menu to pop up to exit the room faster?
