5:15 This is the most hilarious thing to me Dracula just stands there and just takes all those bones to the noggin' until he gets hit with a big one and doesn't even react. Meanwhile your mentor is in the background wondering what in the heavenly fuck is happening.
Shoutouts for this run for completely changing how I approached Circle of the Moon when I played it later that year. The high risk, high reward gameplay of the Skeleton transformation for bossfights was probably more fun than just playing the game normally. EDIT: But I really should've remembered that run better because I quite struggled with Carmilla & the Dragon Zombies, summoning a Basilisk would've made it loads easier, I imagine hahaha
I never realized until I played the recent GBA collection on Switch, just how deep Circle Of the Moon is. Add on the speedrunning aspect, and this is indeed one of the best on the GBA.
I like how in speedrunning that if you see something strange or have a question about what's going on it's probably a safe answer to think "it's faster"
With the release of the advance collection this has gotten my favorite castlevania metroidvania. Love the music and the castle. Such an underrated game ❤️
Just picked up this game a few days ago. Mainly to get Aria of Sorrow, but I thought I'd try the others, so started with Circle. At first I thought I'd hate it. The slow, clunky whip, the walking, the animation locks... The game does not sell itself very well at the start. The dash boots helped a bit, but were still clunky. But after sticking with it for a while I have learned to love it. It's a simple to understand game once you get down to it, though I do think the game could have used a little bit of a tutorial on the magic system. I had no idea how to activate it for the longest time lol. Fun game, good speedrun!
For the people who haven’t played this game, don’t be fooled. You gotta play to see how goddamn hard this game really was, especially for a little kid getting it on the game boy advanced It took me more than a year to beat it
And here I just played the game like it was intended… I’m torn. These things are interesting, but, what’s the point? Eh I guess it makes a new “game” out of it…?

I've rarely heard such a charismatic-sounding runner
Jupiter Climb is excellent. Highly recommended.
Lol he sounds like a normal dude
@@alwaysabiggafish3305 if you hear him with his normal chat, you will understand.
He has a specific cadence which is hard to describe.
Been watching him recently, he seems really cool
An awesome GDQ debut for Jupiter - hope to see more of him at future events!

"it does make you wonder what's going through Dracula's mind"
A bone seems to be going through his mind.

Fantastic run by jupiterclimb, glad that Circle was able to be showcased at this GDQ
I know the GBA sound chip could be rough, but when composers knew what to do with it, it REALLY shined. That bass sound is like nothing else.
I really, really hate TH-cam's muting copyright thing, especially when it's during some explanation for how a speedrun works
oh god, it IS 20 years old...
21!
Been loving JCs runs for a long time, great to see them at GDQ.

Damn Jupiter, you totally slayed with this run, what a way to go and great way for your GDQ debut!
I never realized until I played the recent GBA collection on Switch, just how deep Circle Of the Moon is. Add on the speedrunning aspect, and this is indeed one of the best on the GBA.
After that GODLY comeback, you just HAD to appear on GDQ. So glad you made it, greetings from Italy!
10/10 run.

Loved that run. cotM is my favorite GB Castlevania and the movement in it is the best.
32:35 just chucking stuff at him form off screen 🤣
Great commentator. After the run, I tried the infamous glitch on my game, it's so cool to mess with it !
The answer to the question "what's going through the mind of Dracula" seemed to be a really big bone.
With the release of the advance collection this has gotten my favorite castlevania metroidvania. Love the music and the castle. Such an underrated game ❤️
Very nice run! I remember when it was new and just blind running it all!
I love how the boss music is the last Dracula Music in castlevania three
I cannot believe I missed jupiter's run
The music in this game does slap, despite the shortcomings of the GBA sound chip.
Soooo freakin awesome!
"What's going through Dracula's mind?"
"I WANT TO GET OFF MR. BONES WILD RIDE!"
Don't get hit and throw a big bone.
Words to live by.
What a run, that was amazing! :O
12:56 Oh, that ledge is too high up for me? No problem, I'll just FLOAT up there! :')
Can't believe how much the card glitch breaks the game, never knew it existed.

I have played this game a lot on the GBA. An old friend had given me the game, and the game is solid.
good runner and good host!
These are the GDQ highlights for me. Breaking the game and abusing the mechanics. Hilarious. Excellent effort and great commentary.
Commenting for traffic! Love to see this game get some love.
GGs Jupiter Climb!Nice run!
Great run!!!
One of my favorite childhood games.
Dracula : Well fuck, it seems my plans are....BONED...again....
Jupiter Climb! The best Vania runner.
Excellent run
Makes sense Death is lurking in the Amazon warehouse 😅
Finished this game with more than 8 hours 2 days ago... NICE
... a very famous glitch i never heard of xD am stunned
Nice run!
me watching this run: 'oh god, *this* boss! ... wait that's IT?!" over and over, lol
“Hey this is that Castlevania ‘Glitch’ of the Moon!?”
Dracula: "Aw shit, I'm boned, aren't I?"
this was my first metroidvadnia, too!
Cucco: A worthy challenger, this chicken.
For the people who haven’t played this game, don’t be fooled.
You gotta play to see how goddamn hard this game really was, especially for a little kid getting it on the game boy advanced
It took me more than a year to beat it
This shit is so insane
First! I love Castlevania these games are so timeless.
Good stuff
What is a bone? A miserable pile of levels up.
33:04: Looks like a big ol' bone is going through his mind, if you ask me. ;3
How the hell did I miss Jupiter's gdq debut
Yessssss Jupiter!!!!
Well this sure is something.
Awesome
God, this game has the best music. Konami absolutely crushed it.
A bone was goin though dracula's mind
BIG BONE!
BIG BONE
Epic
Does the advance collection up the colour saturation on this game? I remember the colour palette being a lot more muted.
If you played it on an OG GBA the lack of a backlight made it seem really dark and drab.
That's why HoD had brighter colors.
To this day I still haven’t beaten circle of the moon I’m lost and I keep dying bc lack of potions I grind and grind but nothing -_-
Have you tried Jupiter + Mandragora?
Big Bone Energy
Even if you can made it to dracula, you still need to kill all the bosses?
It's an All-Bosses run.
And here I just played the game like it was intended… I’m torn. These things are interesting, but, what’s the point? Eh I guess it makes a new “game” out of it…?
To see how fast some one can finish the game by any means. Tho i do enjoy 100% glitchless runs personally.
