Present story is like showing a mega mirror and telling the society " See this is what you are" Story has material good enough to be stretched into a TV serial, or a novel. The language used and the untapped richness in the narration and presentation of story is commendable. There is a special Sethuram style of describing things making things enjoyable. Countless quotes like "Kottige yinda doddeege bandangayithu " is interesting. Money and material life crushing the human values, feelings, sentiments is well depicted , cultural bankruptcy in the society , all human relationships including father and daughters ultimately becomes a business deal. Ending is good , Dhananjay, he is rightly named ,only person to retain human values inspite of losing in property distribution. Sir in all the stories , the base of Indian families is that we do not sit down as family and discuss thread bare . We are not trust worthy enough or we just have not learnt to trust each other enough.
Not really .. Girls are becoming very practical and money minded. Girls have one more weapon that is CRYING . Boys can not cry and espressos their feelings . Working woman are very much looks only on benefits. Mom is required when child is small . The moment child goes to 6th stand.. Mom becomes old fashioned . Practical solution is staying in different house but very close to each other - May be two flats in same floor . That is better option
Sir. the last few lines are so true. I liked the story but somehow I am ready to accept the social norm where daughter considers taking care of parents is optional and the same is not true with sons. both are children to parents. parents should have equal rights to stay in their daughter's house.
