I'm more suprised it's possible for a channel this size to have such bad videography with all the equipment at their disposal. The frog view doesnt work at all for a video like this.

Thanks for the spring clamp idea. I have a few for when I used to assemble guitars but I'm not doing it at the moment. I now have somewhere to hang my headphones and move it around the table.
Imagine speaking for 30 minutes straight, undistracted, while the entire team moves around avoiding the camera to be in the right rooms at the right time for a quick demo.

Haha ik rt. I remember seeing his video of when he was a kid recording on a handheld cam on a review about a product. Now he's an employer, content creator and an ultra frisbee champion. Kinda makes you go Damn🤭
Just something so cool about seeing him grow up and just keep discovering and creating exactly what he needs. Allowing a kid to follow their own interests leads to this level of passion, creativity and expertise.

Everyone in linus’ office is a sitcom character, and then everyone here is an uber chilled out introvert lmao
Thats because of the way each office is handled. Linus office/studio is handled in a way that for every video, everyone should be ready to appear, say something, do something. That is the way they have been doing videos for years. While for MKBHD the face has been always Marques, this is the actual first time we are able to see all the people behind the cameras. So is understable that they are not super confortable being in front of the camera.

It would be really cool to see how you create a video from start to finish. From the concept to the research to the outline to filming it and editing it. Would be really cool to see the entire process and to get an idea of how much work goes into it and how long it takes.
This was really interesting to see. Always cool to see how things look behind the scenes. I can only imagine how much all of that stuff costs! But obviously it is very well deserved. I've watched a lot of tech review channels and nothing compares to the quality and content that you put out.

Also Linus gets so that sponsorship money.

Also mkbhd has been a one man - small team any for sooo long.
I love Linus alot.... But this is nothing short of a achievement. The studio probably costs millions in equipment alone!

I respect the empire he has build but he literally rents a warehouse as his office space. His per square footage cost of office can't be anywhere near mkbhd's.

As Marques has stated, that is only because they use Final Cut Pro for editing which of course only runs on Macs. If they used Premier, or DaVinci Resolve it would likely be a much different mix.

Just realising how much work goes into making every video perfect and how much painstaking detail they have to go through to make sets and do top-down shots and understanding how much foam and carpeting they've added makes me appreciate his videos so much more.
No wonder MKBHD is as successful as he is -- the love and passion that must have gone towards this just drips from every corner of the studio.
MKBHD is really living the dream. I love the fact that he wakes up every morning knowing fully well he's going to a work he enjoys doing. I want to get to that point for sure.
He inspires us how human can enjoy his life. He is not just a tech guy. He is a success model .
you dont necessarily need to do this to enjoy it .. do what you love and enjoy it -- im not in the tech field but damn do i love my job and I am grateful for it day by day when i wake up :)

It depends on the culture. Intel CEO and chairman sit in cubicles, at least back in the days. The new CIO of our tiny department, on the other hand, locked up handicapped restroom for her own use as first order of business.

It's a Linus thing, when him and Linus were competing for 10 Mil subs. Then they decorated each others' offices with things that were distinctly them. Linus got a load of Apple-esque things, Marques clearly got a load of Linus-themed things.
