- Johnny Depp described his own voice in an audio recording on a plane flight as like a "pained animal" during testimony at his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. During Depp's cross-examination, Heard's attorneys played audio from the infamous Boston flight where Heard claims there was a huge argument and Depp was physically abusive. Depp has denied the allegations and said he went to the bathroom to hide from Heard's verbal abuse.

As a recovering addict myself, I cannot fathom how painful it must feel to have trusted someone enough to let them see you at your lowest in life...only for that person to record it and play it for the whole world to view. I pray he finds some semblance of peace, is able to forgive not for her sake but to free himself of the emotional toll her grasp of him has caused, and to love without being afraid once again.❤

That’s exactly what hit me really hard …my husband literally cared for me day & night while detoxing off prescription Oxy’s making me shakes to try and eat . He would fill the tub and basically carry me to bath & change into clean pj’s . I couldn’t imagine fighting a maniac daily while it was happening ,at least she’s outed as a hostile horrible person .

I watched Mr. Depp on the stand saying that the first time he recorded their convo was he asked permission to Heard(which she agreed) for the sole purpose of letting her remember the things she uttered because accdg. to Mr. Depp that Heard had the tendency of denying what she had said later on. On the other hand, Heard's motive of recording is pure evil.

My aunts husband withheld her medication and it caused her death. Addicts need that medication to help stabilize their symptoms and body for time, until the Dr can completely wean them off of it.

Informing her required his approval. She is not a medical trained professional. She inserted herself into the situation to be in a position of control. She recorded him to humiliate and control him and she withheld pain meds to control and humiliate, and torture, him all in an attempt to make him do her bidding.

I watch a lot of trials and it’s the guilty people that focus so intently on the jury during their testimony. It just looks disingenuous and coached. For example, Jodi arias does this for every single question, even 1 word yes/no questions she physically turns her whole body to face the jury and then says yes/no and turns back. Guilty people know they have to deploy every single tactic available to them bc they know the evidence is against them.
My hopes are that Johnny Depp gets even MORE movie deals after all of this. He’s phenomenal at his craft. So many people around the world appreciate & respect him.

How is this allowed. I recorded my ex husband being abusive and threatening to our youngest child in a custody case he brought against me. There were recordings threatening to harm me. The court would not consider it as he didn't consent to being recorded which us dumb as if he had known he would not have done it.
There are some jurisdictions where it's required to have "two party consent" where both parties have to be aware. Most are "one party consent" where as long as one person in the conversation has consented to the recording, it's allowed. Personally, I think two party jurisdictions exist due to corruption.

Do not take this as fact, but I think that the rules of what is allowed is a lot more lenient with civil court cases than other ones.
She was just being a good wife by baiting him into an argument then conveniently recording the outcome. She must of done it because she loves him so much and just wanted to listen to the recordings when he was away at work because she loved him so much.

it was astonishing the amount of fine detail that she gave about her "traumatic memories" on stand. so much detail about every single thing, as much as direction and space etc she continues to sound like she's storytelling to a bunch of toddlers. she'll sound almost enthusiastic to get her stories across to the jury whilst she looks over at them but then the second she gets to the "abuse", it's the same repeated procedure. the huffing and puffing, the sighs, the frowns, the tearless cries, the head-shaking; it's all so uncomfortable to watch. it's absolutely terrifying just how shameless this woman is and will become to be in control and get her way. i feel sorry for johnny that his most private, personal moments have been publicised for the world to see. hope he gets the justice he deserves.

It's hard for me to feel bad for someone that's that rich and powerful, but the more I watch the more I see the humanity of him. You can have EVERYTHING but if your'e marriage is bad, you'll start to deteriorate. If your relationship oscillates between warmth/love to devaluing/degradation, it will lower the self-esteem of even someone like him. Why would he do this in the first place if he was guilty? If he really did those terrible things he'd never let Amber testify because he'd want it hidden. It's fascinating to me that someone that rich and powerful can be abused. I guess not all famous people are deeply narcissistic.
