Amber has NEVER been a victim of domestic violence, but she's the perpetrator of violence and I am angry 😡 she's using this to make money. It's sick! ⚖️ Justice for Johnny and all real victims out there.

As a victim of domestic violence, her testimony doesn’t ring true. I remember every detail of how I was hit, the pain, the confusion, the horror. And I couldn’t cover up my black bleeding swollen eye or my cut cheekbone.. the white of my eye was red with broken blood vessels and that lasted a long time. My eye was swollen shut.. heard’s testimony makes me very angry and I don’t believe it happened the way she said it did.

Yes, what you describe is realistic, what she showed as evidence from what she described absolutely doesn't match up. If anyone has seen her complete statements and cross examination and evidence she provided to back up her claims and what she described, they would have to be flat out crazy and ignorant to the extreme to believe a word she says.
I’ve seen someone with a broken cheek bone or soemthing to that affect after being beat and they were unrecognisable,super pretty face you could only recognise one half of her face,listening to amber makes me feel sick,anxious,panicked,nervous for the whole day

I am angry that she has the audacity to say the red rash on her face and beige marks on her arm were signs of beatings. You know what a beating is --I do not understand how she was not laughed out of the courtroom when she showed those pictures. I say, LISTEN to anyone who says they are victims and help them to safety. BUT, before destroying someone's life and reputation, INVESTIGATE to make sure it is so. When I was with an abuser, one decent punch yo the face would disfigure me for about 10 days. You can’t cover a lump the size of a golf ball with makeup.

This is what angers me so much...I wasn't going to watch this case, and for most part I haven't...but this case will be public record and in the future I wouldn't be surprised for an attorney to bring up the case of Depp VS Heard. Ive been abused..verbally for years..I had no parents and siblings thought he was nice guy..still do..they feel sorry for him..he takes the truth and twists it to make me look horrible. I had no where to go. With Heard I think..why did she not just ...GO. She went to events, talk shows, even Coachella..I practically can get to grocery store...All she had to do was leave. I didn’t sense an ounce of shame or embarrassment from JD (unless he can just cover that up really well, which I wouldn’t be surprised about since he’s an actor) but I’m sure that although he’s not healed, he’s someone who sees things from a higher, logical perspective. He logically knows that explaining how someone abused him does not reflect badly on him, so what is there to be embarrassed about? Surprisingly, a lot of domestic abuse survivors know rationally that they have nothing to be embarrassed about. The embarrassment and anxiety comes from opinions like the one in the original comment where people assume that it must be so humiliating to speak about something like that. They are already aware of the sentiments and viewpoints that OTHERS who are listening to them will have about them. THAT’s where the embarrassment comes from a lot of the time, according to what I’ve heard and what I’ve seen, and I agree with you. People who are viewing JD as a man who’s having to “humiliate” himself to expose Amber don’t help.

She didn't walk away...he did. She did all she could do keep him there...even starting fights and assaulting him. She begged him to meet her. DV victims don't initiate confrontations, nor do they assault their abuser. They know what will happen to them. They definately don't chase the abuser down to meet. Once you are out for good, you want to stay as far away from that person as possible.

Women often return for many reasons, financial, there partner promises it won’t happen again, they say they love them. On average women go back 7 times. What they don’t do is act like AH in court. They actually take photos of real evidence. Anyone impacted by Domestic Violence or who is scared of someone does not speak the way she does to their perpetrator. They certainly don’t get off throwing a bottle and cut off f the top of a finger. AH is just not credible and the bottom line is there is just no evidence.

BPD, HPD, and NPD are all cluster B disorders, yet present differently. If you do have a master's in psychology, I expect you already know this. Amber was diognosed with BPD, and HPD by a clinical psychologists. Whilst a person with HPD may manipulate, lie and exaggerate, it is not driven by the same motives found in NPD.

It's true, at least for me; I couldn't look at my abuser. I would look down at my hands in my lap or sometimes find a spot to fix my sight on, like a doily on a table or a pull chain on a lamp. This was true even when they weren't present and I would be talking to a therapist about it, even years after. I couldn't even look at my therapist! It is difficult even for me to understand why I had to look down when talking about it, maybe there was some irrational shame of having someone do those things to me, like I was afraid even to admit to myself that this was done to me. It was so difficult to talk about. But Amber, well she gazes hateful at Johnny Depp from the witness stand. She holds her nose in the air like she's better than anyone else. HER eyes get large as she gets hostile with her answers and avoids answering directly. I think she's not authentic to someone who was/is supposedly afraid of the person right across the room from her. No, I don't believe her, I don't believe her at all.
Real victims carry not only fear and pain, they carry a deep shame. They do not understand what they did wrong or could have done differently to prevent the aubse. These feelings are real and lie deep in the psyche. AH never showed any of that. She gave lip service but the real emotion was not there.

I've been away from my abuser that if we were back in court now, I do think I could look at him while testifying, but it has taken well over 20 years for me to regain my confidence. I am not sure that I could look at a jury box of strangers and recount my sexual assault, though. I don't think it's fair for us that are victims to believe every victim should behave the same as we did or to think that we would in the same circumstances. That said, there is just too much actual evidence that contradicts her testimony to now believe anything she has said.

Also, I have never seen or heard of an abuse move the victims family/friends closer to the alleged victim- in the same building, no rent/free penthouses, and an open door policy for regular visits into the couple's home??!!??!!!!

You are spot on and I really should've thought about that myself. From personal experience in my own life. My father did it to my mother and my ex son in law did it to my daughter, the abuser if possible will always try and alienate the victim from friends and family before starting the abuse!! Johnny moved her sister, and her bestie into his homes. Amber's sister lived with them and her best friend lived in an attached penthouse rent free. You are the first person I've seen mention this, very true!!

I've seen a woman in my family with BPD abuse her husband and the similarities are quite eerie.
They should demonstrate on a person who actually has bruises, puffy black eye, and broken nose to prove if they can really cover up with makeup as she said.
As a DV Victim myself I’ve had a broken nose, bruises and swelling in my face. That little makeup kit would not hide much at all.
They really should have a real victim volunteer to come in to prove make up isn't going to hide dark bruises, cuts and swelling. Make up doesn't hide anything, in fact it makes it worse because you have to put so much on everyone knows that something is going on. When I got a black eye and bruised from a car accident I never covered it up, when people asked me what happened, I just told them. But when I was bruised from the abuser I tried to cover it but couldn't effectively do so and when I would get asked about it I would try to come up with a story. It's embarrassing to have to tell someone that you got beat up. I don't say who did it because it wasn't my husband, it was a direct family member and some of my other family members wouldn't want me to say. See...there's a stigmatism to family violence. There's still that family commitment to silence to this day decade's after.

However it is very brave to admit to his drinking and drug taking, and even though he is under influence in the videos she took, it shows that he was never physically violent towards her. One I watched, she even laughs at the end. I can tell you, if he hit her or threw her around she wouldn't have been taping him, she would have gone away or hidden some where instead of provoking him even more. I haven't watched every day of the trial, and totally ignored the first trial , however, how courageous of him and also how embarrassing for both, to have all this aired in public.

As a victim of DV and also, growing up in a household with a wildly violent father that beat my mother regularly in front of us kids I rarely if ever jump to any conclusions about the victim. Listening and watching this trial, all her actions are the extreme opposite of how most victims act and/or react. She shows NO fear of her supposed attacker and tries to incite violence constantly. As a wife, mother, and sister I think it is very important to not believe all women, but to believe facts and the facts are Amber Heard is an abusive, gold digging liar that has been secretly recording Johnny from day one. @bina nocht But she has NOT provided strong evidence, i.e. unaltered photos of her injuries, nor does she credible witnesses to backup her claims. Witnesses (police, nurse, doc, security) saw no evidence of abuse on her. The witnesses she summoned are questionable and have been caught lying for her. So why is so hard to think she hadn’t been a a victim. She looks more like the abuser.
So far in these depositions I haven't heard anything that makes me believe that JD was the initiator of a physical fight and just trying to defend himself when fending her off. She's already come across to me as the physical type that will come at you and try to attack you and you have no choice but to grab her by the arm, or push her face away, or if she starts swinging you might have to smack her to get her to stop. From another perspective, Susan, an abuser never retreats to a safe space from their alleged victim, & locks themselves in, even once, let alone as a default way of defusing an argument.
For a man who consciously, or unconsciously refuses to use his physical strength to assert himself & control the situation, - a verbal onslaught of deflection, blame, guilt, insult, & the need to be right against all the evidence, can be overwhelming.
Especially as Amber is verbally sophisticated in projecting all of her character flaws onto her victims. & Johnny, as I heard him respond during arguments with her, is anxious about expressing himself, as he fully understands how any dissent will escalate her anger. That in itself is abuse, when he said himself that he was never allowed to have a voice.
We heard this in one audio, where Johnny is telling her how she punched him in the face, but stumbled his words & said 'thing' before correcting himself to 'Face'.
That illustrates subconscious anxiety, & a reluctance to speak facts because of nervousness that it will exacerbate her reaction.
That doesn't come from one act of violence, but from the experience of a very prolonged series of violent responses.

There's such a wide range of strange, unnatural expressions in a short amount of time, if you try to copy what she's doing, first- it seems impossible; second - it doesn't even seem human. Trying that just makes me think she's literally insane.

Her testimony was very fake, and REAL survivors can tell quite easily. When questioned about her own testimony, she twists things, embellishes and puts a different spin on things. Everyone, including police, doctors, nurses, body guards, neighbours etc, who testified that they saw no injuries, abuse etc, she says lied, or they are wrong. No medical treatment sought for alleged horrible injuries. These types of people lie every day, put on an act around others and have everyone fooled, while behind closed doors they abuse their "loved" one. They secretly tell lies about their victim, so they can undermine the victim's good name or character, for how ever long, until it is needed later, when finally the victim has had enough. Unless you have had the unfortunate experience of being in a situation with these types of people (narcissistic), it is hard to fathom just how insidious and devious they are, and the extreme psychological effects and trauma they cause.

I had to take the stand against my abuser in court and I can tell you, there isn’t anything that I resonate with watching her testimony. I didn’t want sympathy, I didn’t want to sell a story, I just wanted the strength to get me through my testimony in hopes of telling my truth. I had also been gaslighted so much by my abuser, I suppose the act of testifying gave me some relief and validation that I wasn’t crazy. I couldn’t cry… after so many years of abuse, I felt so emotionally detached like I was outside of myself. It felt as though I was watching myself testify from a distance like someone else took over. I was told later I felt like that because the “fight” part of trauma response took over. I couldn’t cry even if I wanted to. All I wanted was to get my story out and not once did I EVER wish to see my abuser’s face. I think something did happen, maybe the constant arguments and emotional exhaustion of arguing and coping with an addict, but I do not believe he abused her like she claims. Not to the extreme of physical assault or sexual abuse. Their relationship is obviously toxic and it’s very probable that took an emotional toll on her and him both. He escaped through substances, while she let it consume her emotionally which only added fuel to the fire.

Many years ago I was a victim of domestic violence for 11 years. To this day if I see my abuser in the streets, I still get nervous and I avoid him at all costs from him seeing me. When I had to face my abuser in court I was nervous and scared, and I could hardly speak over my constant tears about what had happened to me in those years. There is no way Amber was severely abused as she claims to this court. She sits there on the stand with this kind of demeanor and attitude as if she's the aggressor. She tries to manipulate the court with her lies, as they have already been proven to the court. Therefore, as a victim of domestic violence, Amber's behavior tells me that she was the abuser in their relationship, not Johnny. And if for some slim chance I could be wrong, well, actions speak louder than words.

He was never in a partnership with his abuser. It’s fascinating to hear what he went through and how his family and friends thought he should not reported his abuser. He also give you an insight to how this case triggers his emotions. He can not bare to look or hear Amber. Any victim will tell you how they do not believe Amber and in their opinion Amber is the abuser.

No, DV victims shouldn't be told that they can't be victims unless they act in a certain way.
The research actually says they often act in a way that is unexpected. That psychologist who is a highly qualified expert in IPV made that clear. This is esp true when victims have left, garnered support, gained validation (from UK High Court judge who very clearly said he accepted her events and rejected Depp's, for very comprehensive reasons) and consider themselves survivors rather than victims. The anger can be contemptuous. That's where the obnoxious part comes in. She is disgusted at Depp's lawyer.
