- So today I'm sharing how I bookstagram. I am no professional at this...at all. In fact, I think I'm quite horrible at it but hey, maybe this video will help you if your interested in it!
So take this video with a grain of salt. Either way hope you enjoy it!

Really loved seeing what goes on behind the scenes of bookstagram! I've always found it so interesting seeing how people edit their photos because to me it always seemed so complicated but you did a really good job at explaining it and making it simple! I can really tell how dedicated you are to your bookstagram and really appreciate how often you post! You should be proud of your photos and what you do because you really are talented!

Thanks for taking the time to make this video for everyone! I loved seeing your bookstagram process. When I take photos on my couch or bed and are using a blanket, I put a small piece of foam core board underneath to keep things stable. I forget to use it lots of times but usually remember when I'm using a cup of coffee in my photo and it's in danger of falling over. LOL

I'm really glad that you did this video, because I absolutely love your bookstagram pictures! I've always thought your bookstagram pictures were pretty creative and fun; whereas my bookstagram pictures are pretty boring. :)

I already have a bookstagram that I've been working on for a few months, but this is an amazingly comprehensive video I wish I'd thought of looking up at the start, because it would've helped so much! I really love that you take us through the whole process from start to finish, even now it was a very interesting video to see, I learned some new stuff!

I’m not into bookstagram because of the general pressure of the quality of pictures you take and the whole follow count pressure. But I’m all about Litsy. Very similar but it doesn’t have the same pressure for me 🤗

I’m not very creative when it comes to props so I rely on my colorful bookshelves to be the background and every once in a while I’ll throw in a candle lol. i have made an ac for my ❤️ for books so i want to ask that should i go for different mail & password for this book ac or merge this in an already existing instagram a/c?

I was baffled by how much technical camera and photography knowledge you had, then I remembered it’s literally what you do for a living.

Thank you so much for this video! I don't know anything about ISO or aperture? Could you explain about that in your next one? Also you could get a small board or cutting board and put that under your blanket if you need a flat surface. I'm a target person, too! I can''t afford Nordstrom!!

Thanks for the tips! I've been wanting to do Bookstagram but I'm not a great photograph. I like the simplistic look. I have no ideas about aperture settings. Do you film with a tripod and upside down? A lot of my books are on Kindle. What do would I do about glare or seeing the camera in the Kindle glass? I've seen Bookstagram and book blogs featuring great pictures with Kindle books and wonder how they do it.
with photos I dont use a tripod at all honestly

Do you have a shelf or any sort of wood maybe? You could put that underneath the sheet so the books stand up straight!

Hi many people say you should find youre style/brand/theme. But my bookstagram account (jowestread 😅) is all over the place. I have pictures of my cat, my dog, some other pics and then my bookstagram pics. Is that bad? How can I do it better?
