Believe me, the Camaro is only dead cause Chevy didn't use the prototypes/concepts from the movies. If the sixth gen looked more like the DOTM Bee with the power of the ZL1 it would be an absolute blast

That 74 camaro and Sean’s Monte Carlo from Tokyo drift are two of my all time favorite movie cars from when I was a kid. I was 7 when Tokyo drift came out, and still two of my favorites to this day
The monte carlo was my favorite out of all the cars in that film lmao. There's just something about an old, tricked-out car from the 70s wearing slicks and lathered in industrial primer that gets to me lol
the best part of owning a transformer is that you dont need to do any maintance and the transformer in car form is always clean, spotless and shiny despite constantly being in combat
Fun fact: the '08 Camaro was not in production at the time the first film was being made; the car they used for filming was actually a mock-up built on a heavily modified 2006 Holden Monaro chassis used as basis. So the exhaust sound you hear from from 1:00 to 1:37 isn't really that of an actual Chevy.

Bee's upgraded design from the first movie is the best because it's so raw and simple. It's not riddled with vents like the one from TLK and it doesn't look like a spaceship like the AOT one. This is what comes to my mind when i think of a camaro.
The original one is good, the upgrade through dark of the moon is ok, the last knight one was insane but imo a little too much (especially with the scissor doors), meaning the age of extinction one is my favorite. Oh yeah, and the newer one in age of extinction is clean too
Hope that they release a new Transformers movie soon that might save the Camaro from being discontinued. Since Michael Bay is not directing, it might be good like the Bumblebee movie. Current gen may have failed because of styling but also poor marketing. Mary Barra might describe herself as a car enthusiast but she really does not know what the real enthusiasts want. Take the new Chevy Blazer for an example. I know my words are going everywhere but this has to be said. That car was and will always be important thing in my life.
