I took the kids there a few weeks ago and loved it. I hadn't been since it was at the old location here in Nottingham and was pleased with it all but the kids refused to try the Pac Man as they knew they'd argue 😂
Thanks for nerding out on camera, you two. Some highlights for me: Gebs: "Sarah, you're not crap at it." Sarah: *Dies* Dance party! P.S. On the Donkey Kong screens, you were reading the Dragon instructions up top - the LCD game version was below. Great Video!
I went there for my stag do with some great friends who are all into retrogaming, including fellow writers from Retro Gamer. It was a blast. Must get back there someday.
@@TheGebs24 it wasn't organised by them, it was the group of us spending a fair chunk of the day there before hitting various pubs and clubs in the evening... still a lot of fun, especially watching my brothers on the Dance Fusion machine, and seven-player Micro Machines V3 on the PS1.
The gamechild. The curse of xmas. Tandy sold it to my parents. Saying it's like the game boy but better. I was utterly gutted on xmas day. I was dancing outside Tandy the day they closed.
Great video, Gemma! I have some New 3DS dev hardware, I think I missed the boat to release any games with it though, sadly. I never got a Wii U dev kit, and the Switch dev kit is harder to get, though I hope to make games for the Switch in the not-too-distant future. I definitely regret not making anything for the 3DS or Wii U, but I struggle with finishing stuff. mostly due to my struggles with level design. I may have to find someone else to help with that, though I definitely want to get better at it.
Nice place to go and view some history. I missed out on a dreamcast dev kit back in the day but im still on the look out, maybe one day. Nice video Gem. DDR looked fun
May have missed it, was there any Commodore, Amiga or Atari displays? Looks pretty cool and if we end up travelling to the UK might have to put it on the to do list.
What a lovely day out! I defo gana pay a visit. Seem like a good little place to chill! I just wish they kept the display cabs clean can see the dust and fingerprints 😂

The 4-player version of Pac-Man, insane, give me the Atari VCS game from 1982!

Thank-you for taking us along, Gem and Sarah! 🙂👍

We had a ton of fun Adam 😂😂 Thanks for being awesome
Why are all games attractions up north? All the retro markets are north, the museum is up north, gebs is up north. Everything is up north.
There's a museum in Swindon, and the excellent RMC Cave near Stroud.
It's over 3 hours south for some of us in England! :(
Totally. Would love something like ECTS to come back
Move
@@darrenrussell8980 not far 😆
Very cool museum, noticed they have even the very first videogame home console, the Magnavox Odyssey from 1972 :)

The barcode battler. Purchased it from b and m bargains. It was great fun for a few days. Haha
