i just go to meet boogie at retro palooza today.. as soon as he said he would be there i knew i would be there too. with that being said, he is an amazing person in real life. much different in real life than he is in his videos because he is allowed to be real! hes just a real guy. he’s funny, he said he isint a comedian but according to the crowd they said otherwise. a lot of people get nervous when they go to meet a celebrity , but boogie was so easy to talk to. he will even lead the conversation for you. he wants to talk to you, he wants to shake hands, to take a picture with you because he is a personable guy. at his panel he was talking about mountain dew and i Just So Happened to have a mountain dew for him to sign, so i got up and ran to the booth and gave it to him. he laughed and everybody in the room laughed. we all just had a good time. i was so close to getting an oculus Dev Kit… like what!? he set it aside to trade with people at the con but it was amazing that he wanted to give stuff away for his birthday! if that doesn’t show his character than i don’t know what is. i had so much stuff to say to him that i forgot to say. i wanted to tell him that i got to go eat at the place where he ate that 72oz steak… i wanted to ask him to make a video of how to play D&D, and how to play Magic the gathering… him and my dad had a good conversation about his channel and i just had a good time. I brought a mountain dew for him to sign which he did. we took pictures together, we gave each other a fist bump! he recorded a francis video for me Giving me the signed mountain dew! boogie is one of my favorite youtubers for a good reason. and boogie i hope to see you at the next convention! don’t forget me man! because i sure won’t forget you!
What a great video, I've recently turned 30 so seeing all these beautiful games of my childhood really brought a smile to my face, looking good boogie keep up with the positivity
ive struggled with hardships like many others thx for being an inspiration boogie tbh i never thought you still be around at this age for me but im glade you are and doing better then before
I went to school with the son of the 1986 OG Rampage's developers/artists. I didn't even know it until after we graduated, but it's still pretty awesome.
After watching this I just want a Throwback thursdays with Boogie where he talks about retro consoles and games. History lessons in gaming! Mad place Boogs, really glad you went there and brought us with you! Stay safe.
Loved hearing all the excitement in your voice when you were walking through the museum. I can't wait to visit it myself and feel fortunate that it's somewhat close to me since I live in Austin. Thank for this upload, Boogie. I couldn't stop smiling while I was watching.
Love your videos boogie they make me smile you are my favorite TH-camr of all time I've been watching for 3 years and I am still here enjoying them I hope you are having a great day and sammy to
This place is super cool! I have had the original game boy that I’ve had gotten for Christmas in 1990! I was 10 years old then. Thanks for the nostalgia! 😎🎮
I love how they were even playing 80’s music in the arcade. There’s an arcade game I used to play at a video rental mom and pop store by my house that I loved so much that to this day I still think about. For the life of me I can’t remember the name of it nor have I ever met anyone who has remembered it. And now a days I probably am off a bit when describing it. But it was so good!
Oh my God my childhood all under one roof. I really want to go there. I’m 48. I literally played my Atari 2600 until it fell apart. Glad to see the travel vlogs again. Keep them coming. Love Ya Boogie!!
It puts a smile on my face when I hear you speak so happily and in an excited voice. As a 90s kid I cant relate to the arcade games but man that place looks like heaven. Thank you for showing us your great time in the museum ^^
I love you Boogie! What an experience to have seen even through a screen :) thank you so much for your content I will never stop watching your videos. 🖤
You should visit the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester Ny! They have a video game hall of fame and a floor full of arcade games!! Awesome video Boogie!! I love all of your videos! ♥️
This was a nostalgia-filled video for me as well. I remember when I got a Sega Master System for Christmas and all my friends got Nintendos. I was kinda mad at first but I played it and I loved my Sega Master System. Remembering the good old days of videogaming. Arcades and renting games at Blockbuster was the best ever.
Normally I'm not too into the travel videos and I usually don't actively watch them (but I do let them run to the end as a way to support your channel), but this one ended up being pretty nice. Seeing the Green and Clear Gameboy took me back to a memory long lost to time. I had a friend that had a Green Game Boy and I had a clear one. He liked the looks of the clear one so we traded. I got the better deal in my opinion because the screen was better on the green one he traded to me, as well as the sound was considerably louder on the Green one as well. He wanted the clear one for the swag factor, I wanted the green one because it was a better built Game Boy lol.
My dentist is right across the street from the Museum in Frisco. Gearbox also has there headquarters in the same building, I think. At least we representing the national video game museum here!
Nice, I love the museum,I have been there several times, just a few weeks ago most recently. I recommend it for anyone who loves video games and the history of them.
Dallas Native, been there several times and it's always a treat. Glad you got to experience it first hand. It's truly a unique place full of nostalgia. There's something about that 80s bedroom and the 70s living room they have set up. When you're in those rooms these smells start coming to you. They're not actually there but your brain just does it. They have little hidden treats, like stuff in the couch cushions and magazines in the drawers in the bedroom. Two of my favorite parts of the museum are those two rooms.
I have a friend that might be going to Dallas, I just sent him this video with "YOU NEED TO GO HERE DUDE!" Awesome video Boogie thank you for sharing this! So cool!
I completely forgot about those Game & Watch ones....I had a couple of those when I was a kid and used to play them on long car rides...hit me right in the nostalgia...
I'd love to hang out in that retro arcade listening to that awesome 80s music. I recognised "Send Me an Angel", "Together in Electric Dreams" and "The Promise"!
Happy belated birthday boogie and that was a real treat. Over here in the Netherlands we have an arcade hall which is combined into a museum as well. You can play everything and at every game there is a note with some history behind the game to it.
The memories & flash backs are emotional to say the least. At the age of 2 my parents have me holding a ps1 controller back wards in a Polaroid photo. I was born in 1999 but lived video games like it was the 80’s Atari, NES, Sega genesis, super NES, then later ps1, & 2, GameCube great childhood memories PS2 will forever be god tier though. Lord does the time sure fly it was as if it were yesterday I’m 21 young still but just Wow!
I remember going to the arcade in my town to play Space Ace (next in line from Dragon’s Lair). I was the only guy that could play all the way through it, and kids would wait for me to show up on Saturdays to play. They would pay for my game just so they could watch the full cartoon. Great times!
Been there before. It's pretty neat. You get to play a lot of different video games on so many different platforms. I started having flashbacks to sleepovers at friends' houses where we would play games on the NES and SuperNES.
2:00 it's so cool to see the Atari 2600 in a museum. My mom STILL has hers from growing up. It still works and she still has a bunch of games and joysticks. The original, and a more flight-stick style. It was really neat to play that. I grew up with a SNES in my beginning, although I was born in the mid 90's.
While at college early 90's (1990-92), each lunch break I ran to the arcade which had dragon ninja, Wonderboy, side arms, gauntlet, pit stop, RoboCop, Indiana Jones temple of Doom, return of the Jedi, rastan, and my fav Kung Fu master which I clocked round 3 time on one 10 pence. One day a guy in a yellow jacket with fluffy hood knocked me off the top spot of that game and I never saw him again, but I remember not being too happy stood behind watching ;) great days
Video Game Museum You Say ?! And my head just began to explode from awesome
Same and I wanted to be pinned :(

ive struggled with hardships like many others thx for being an inspiration boogie tbh i never thought you still be around at this age for me but im glade you are and doing better then before
I went to school with the son of the 1986 OG Rampage's developers/artists. I didn't even know it until after we graduated, but it's still pretty awesome.
So glad to see you out and about again Boogie! Will watch this later this evening.
After watching this I just want a Throwback thursdays with Boogie where he talks about retro consoles and games. History lessons in gaming! Mad place Boogs, really glad you went there and brought us with you! Stay safe.
This makes me want to see a deep dive series on good old games from Boogie’s past. This was an entertaining vid.
WoW this was great so many classics from back in the day in one place…Awesome vlog. 👍👍👍
Loved hearing all the excitement in your voice when you were walking through the museum. I can't wait to visit it myself and feel fortunate that it's somewhat close to me since I live in Austin. Thank for this upload, Boogie. I couldn't stop smiling while I was watching.
You're a real OG, Boogie. Thanks for making this.
Thanx Boogie2998, for free videogame museum exploration expedition. I´m from Slovakia. Journey to the Texas in Dallas would be difficult for me.

I was so stoked throughout this video! Brought back a tone of memories. I didn’t want it to end!
I had an absolute blast when I was there with my family years ago. We want to go back so badly.
Oh man, my late brother would've loved to see that. I'll have to go there myself one day.
The amazing thing now is you can play ALL of this! Entire collections of these games available to everyone.
Thanks so much for this awesome video!!!! Amazing trip down memory lane indeed!

I love these type of videos, travelling plus your commentary is awesome!
Video games and a travel log? You spoil us, best of both worlds to see on your channel. Definitely enjoyed the tour of the museum.
Nearly 50 years old, man my life is in here thanks for the upload dude 😀
"That was my dad's favorite game!" You could tell that game brought back A LOT of memories.
Oh cool, I want to go to this place
Boogie, I'm super happy to see you've gotten healthier. I'm proud of you keep up the good work.
Imagine being at the museum and hearing WHATS UP LADIES AND GENTALMEN OF TH-cam.

Thanks for the memories! So many hours spent on my black and white tv 📺 with a Sears Pong console, 😂
I'd love to hang out in that retro arcade listening to that awesome 80s music. I recognised "Send Me an Angel", "Together in Electric Dreams" and "The Promise"!
Man that was cool. The arcade at the end though! Really takes me back to the good ol days.
Wow this really made me miss arcades. So many good memories.
Happy belated birthday boogie and that was a real treat. Over here in the Netherlands we have an arcade hall which is combined into a museum as well. You can play everything and at every game there is a note with some history behind the game to it.

Donkey Kong country was my childhood and my heart broke when the video just cut during the exhibit 🥲
A trip down memory lane even though some of these came out before I was born
The last time i saw that pacman board game i was about 5 or 6 as my family had it i'm 42 now. Thanks boogie.
Great video! I love these Museum tours.

That was so awesome. Definitely making a trip soon
Makes me miss my childhood
Same
I remember in the early 80’s the summer when Dragon’s Lair first hit our arcade - best game I had ever seen!
I had that Mattell Electronics soccer game. It was just a bunch of tiny lights that turned on and off to simulate movement and trajectory.
I found this really relaxing thanks!
Been there before. It's pretty neat. You get to play a lot of different video games on so many different platforms. I started having flashbacks to sleepovers at friends' houses where we would play games on the NES and SuperNES.
this was really fun to watch. happy to see youre traveling again. also commenting for the algorithm. i wish you nothing but the best

This is all fascinating bukey this video game museum brings back a lot of good memories😂
Odyssey 2 was my first console and Space Invaders was the first in cabinet video game I ever played.
The Train museum in the same building is awesome!
You seemed very much in your element Boogie ! Excellent commentary that kept me interested till the end. Looking fwd to more travel content 👌
Wow we had the game systems growing up. I tell you we have such similar backgrounds. Great video Boog. Looking good.
Happy birthday Mr. Williams! 🎁🥳

This is really neat! Thanks for the upload!
