    Like it. Roamer has an interesting history, survived the quartz crisis. Ordered Nautic Chrono for 177 usd. on Ashford. Powered by Ronda 5030, sapphire glass and 100 m WR. And looks great. That´s what I call a good deal.

    I like this watch, this wave dial pattern combined with the subtle fumé effect looks very cool. The two different colour accents red and orange don't match but they don't clash either. Fully agree about the polished middle links and the slightly big size.

    • @WesWatchRoom
      @WesWatchRoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Me too, the dial is a highlight. As for the colours, they do work together, my ocd just likes things to match. Appreciate you watching

    Nice watch. I’ve accidentally dropped mine in a bucket of urine over 12 times and it still works perfectly.

    Great review. Not many comment on crown size, but you did. Very helpful, good observations. I have a roamer searock, and the crown wobbles when out on that too. But it's ok.. for a Swiss watch it's good value at under £300.

    • @WesWatchRoom
      @WesWatchRoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's no problem, glad you appreciated that insight and I wonder if its a common thing with Roamer then? I think some areas could be better, but it's still great for sure. Thanks

    I have seen some vintage Roamer over here. They are well loved! I have never owned one but This seems nice! I like the brushed finish flares! That grey dial is very pretty!

    • @WesWatchRoom

      They don't seem to be a popular brand here but looks like they might be trying to change that. Agree, the dial is lovely, just the colour mismatch bugs me. Thanks mate

      @@WesWatchRoom They do have alot of competition though... As I understand it fashionable timepieces are worn way more in the UK than in SA. Plus that price would make it a hard sell in a place that has Lorus, Festina, Casio's and the like for cheaper than that...

    • @WesWatchRoom
      @WesWatchRoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johanvandersandt8904 true that mate and yeah the competition these days is pretty fierce at any price point.

    Very nice watch Wes. Right about the different colours. I do like the yellow seconds hand against the grey so I'd have made Deep Sea 200m yellow too. I know it's Swiss, but I'd prefer a high beat movement though maybe it's only Seiko that makes them? Not sure. The Ronda is ok, but that's a very cheap movement in there, I've seen them for between $5 to $10 depending on quantity. Size wise it's ok on me I'd reckon. It's an attractive watch though.

    • @WesWatchRoom
      @WesWatchRoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know mate, its a shame they didn't use something a little more premium than it, but its still a very solid movement with good spec. Thanks for watching

    I do really like this one more of a "dress diver" I would definitely be introducing those centre links to Mr scotchbrite though 😅 & that butterfly clasp is really not in keeping. I'm also going to have a rant about those in an upcoming video.
    But I think overall a nice solid grab n go watch.
    43mm hmmmm you need to eat more cake mate haha but seriously I think if they had gone for 41mm it would be a real winner.👍

    • @WesWatchRoom
      @WesWatchRoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I do need more cake and chocolate but a 40/41 would have been perfect. I don't mind butterfly given the right watch but a diver is not that. Thanks for watching mate and yes scotchbrite is a must

    Does it really misses the marks? Is it just rumors? Or is it Roamers? 😜 Btw, if someone is looking for a TAG and likes the "waved" pattern of Omega's dials, here is a great watch to have. As for quartz... TAG would be too!
    Thanks Wes, interesting review, not the "common suspects" again. Be well, cheers.

    I really like it but not in this color. A bit too expensive, if i really wanted this watch, id definitely chase and wait for a deal despite a real nice warranty. Especially for a diver, for which the market is almost saturated with a huge offering at all prices points. Grey market or not, if you're searching for a diver in 2022, you'll find one you ike at your price or you're insanely picky.
    Fun fact, most Certina also display an 1888 year, both company founded the same year.
    Also, i sent you an email and re-reading the stupid title i gave it, i realize this one is sure to end up in the spam folder lol, sorry

    • @WesWatchRoom
      @WesWatchRoom  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree, the watchshop price is good but I'm sure it'll likely wind up reduced at some point down the line. Didn't know they were founded the same year as Certina, that is interesting. Wonder which came first? I haven't checked my email yet but I will do now. Thanks mate

  • @Novica89

    I would not buy this watch at all, considering that I own a $50 Casio quartz (model MTP-1302D-1A2 , $36 on Amazon) that hits all of its markers spot on while also running -2 seconds after like 3-4 weeks of me buying it. This, for me, is a much better watch (even though it has a bad bracelet, can't complain since it costs $50 brand new) than the one in this video.
