This has to be the benchmark in Fusion 360 tutorials…….Really enjoying the ‘Let’s do it together approach’ unlike a lot of tutorials that just shows off the instructors knowledge without consideration of the students ability to instantly pick stuff up? Brilliant, keep it going! Many thanks…
Yours is a very encouraging comment. Thank you for taking the time to comment that and recognize the value of a teacher and student working as a team. I learned a long time ago that a good teacher does that, and am trying very hard to be that kind of teacher. I absolutely have a lot to improve, but your comment is so encouraging to someone like me that wants very much for my students and those that tune into our channel to really understand and benefit from our channel. Please keep in touch as to your progress. I hope to hear from you again. Thank you very much again.
Loved it! Your modest speed, attention to detail and total lack of wanting to show off by speeding things up too much for a newbie makes you the perfect teacher. THX
That is a very nice comment. Thanks for taking the time to write that. Hope that you benefit from our other tutorials just the same. All the best with your learning.
Man, awesome teaching skills! It`s my fourth Fusion 360 course, I didn`t finish any of previous as at some point ithey started to be too complicated for me and I didn`t had motivation to go on further. Learing with you makes me really enjoying the process, i`m smiling to myself at this moment. Thanks, you`re the best!
I didn`t had any fun with other tutorials - I`ve started them as I wanted to learn and I didn`t knew that learing could gave me joy until I meet your course. I have feeling that this tutorial would be the first I will complete. @@learnitalready
@@karolosmanski2309 So glad to hear! All the best on your learning. Please don’t forget to like our videos nd subscribe. If you need any help along the way, please don’t hesitate to ask.
I'm 5 lessons in and so far I'm really liking the teaching style. You are not making any assumptions that we know anything and you're teaching it like we're 5 yrs old, which honestly is very refreshing for an absolute beginner like me! I've watched other videos and they blaze through things way too fast and assume I know all the shortcut keys. This is great! Ok... on to the next lesson!
Thanks for your comment! So glad you’re enjoying them and liking the pace. I understand what it’s like to learn this software and also know what it’s like to teach young students. Please keep in touch and let us know your progress.
As an electrical engineer, I only had to take one semester of drafting. That was 30 years ago. Boy does this bring back memories. But we had to use pencils and protractors. :) I'm here because I want to try to figure out how to design things I can 3D print.
Very nice to have your comment and support. Thank you! I have been in the industry for 26 years now. Back then, pencils and protractors were used too. I am very impressed by your desire to learn. Great job! Please keep up with the tutorials. As soon as you finish lesson 9, you will have acquired many essential and fundamental skills to help you create things that you can 3D print. Our desire is to get to the point where I can teach a lot more about 3D printing and CAM. 99% of our videos have only been released 2 months ago and now we are at 1000+ subscribers because many have expressed how easy it is to learn with our channel. Keep up your journey of learning! You won't be disappointed.
As most I am self teaching. Subscribed after the 4th video. I like this style of teaching. Slow with limited technical terms to remember at first so as not to overload those learning. Will have to check playlist but im wondering if you go over setting up preferences. I want to be able to kind of type in 4' 3 -1/4 sort of like autocad (self taught also) instead of 51.250. Also I will be recommending your channel to people who want to learn fusion.
Thanks so much for your encouraging comment. I slowly pick it up and will teach more technical terms as you move on, but I do take it in strides. Also, when it comes to inputting and shortcuts for units of measurement, I do take that slowly as well and do discuss it at some point, but I can't remember specifically where at this moment. Thank you so much for recommending Fusion to others. Hope to hear from you again in our other tutorials. All the best!
Each tutorial seems like it's going to be so simple I could almost skip it. But each answers **so many questions** I've had for so long. I'm commenting on every video so far both because I'm so enthusiastic about them, and also to help support your channel with engagement. You should be to tens of thousands of subscribers in no time.
Rereading this comment made me laugh. You should be to tens of thousands of subscribers soon because your videos are amazing, not because I'm commenting. 😄
That is such a nice comment that you’re getting answers to so many questions. Great to hear. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my students that ask questions that help me understand the minds of new users and then share what I’ve learned through my channel.
loving the videos, i just picked up a 3d printer and trying to learn how to make things i want I'm finding your videos helpful the only problem i had when i use the hole feature i did have the same 1 in and half in circle right away from clicking it like you did and when i change the extent to all i lose the degree section
Great to hear! Thanks for your comment and support. May I ask a little about the problem you’ve encountered please? Can you explain a little more? I don’t quite understand. Thanks!
Question on basics. If you place a counter bore hole on the 1,2,3 block and then decide you wish to move it to a new dimensional location how would you move it? When I say a new dimensional location I mean create a spot you wish to move it to and move it to that location.
Thanks for your question! It depends: do you want to move it to a different location on the same original plane, or on a different plane? If the c-bore will be located on the same plane, then it is quite easy to do. In your timeline, right click the sketch tool (that contains the point you’ve created) and right click to select to edit that feature. Delete the constraints (if there are constraints) and then click your dimensions to check their value. If you don’t have any dimensions specified, then your point should be blue, which means you can simply click, drag, and place in a new location. Finish your sketch, and then the c-bore should update automatically. If it’s not working out for you, please keep watching the next 2 or 3 tutorials in the playlist. They will teach you what’s needed to know exactly what to do. Thanks for tuning into our channel. Hope you benefit from our other tutorials too!
Thanks for your comment. I made that drawing in Fusion. Drawings matter because if you’re able to read drawings, then you will understand constraints, dimensioning, and will be able to design very complex and accurate 3D models easily.
@@learnitalready Boy, that was a FAST response! I am just to the point of extruding the larger circle! Will I learn how to make the drawings? I do not see a 'create drawing' option under create... I am getting so much from your series! Thank you! I have stumbled through trying to learn it myself, and decided to watch a tutorial. I am leaning new things with every lesson! @@learnitalready On to the next lesson! Is there a way to support your work financially? Like the Buy Me a Coffee app, or something? I would donate after the lessons I watch... I really appreciate your time spent in making these.
You are very kind. Thank you! We’ve actually only been making these videos (well 99% of them) since last month and haven’t unlocked that part of TH-cam. Almost there. We would really appreciate any help in recommending our channel to others. Also, please feel free to make suggestions on what you’d like to see in the future. We are trying to make tutorials for each workspace of Fusion 360 because there is so much to learn with this software. Thank you again! You have motivated me to work extra hard this week.
You’re absolutely correct! I thought for a long time about that and decided to try and keep the focus on learning just a few elements and dimensions on the drawing rather than on every detail. These lessons were primarily made to assist my students (brand new learners of everything manufacturing) and I felt like it was sufficient for them to learn just the few things that were taught in this tutorial. I also left out GD&T, most of the information in the Title Block, etc, etc since those things would have been too much for them at the time. However, we subsequent tutorials, you see that we get more and more detailed. I hope you stick with us to see that progress. I truly appreciate your comment. You’re the only one that’s caught that and commented on it. Thank you!
