Brainwashed by his teachers
Spot on. He is a natural byproduct of our failed educational system. I wonder how proud his "Republican" father is of him?
More like taken to the car wash. How can these "Teachers" think they are making a better world by turning out pre-programmed mindless, destructive little lefty robots like this kid?
Yep teaching these kids "what" to think NOT "how" to think
@@vincentkrych2158 You nailed it one the head, that is what schools used to be, teaching kids 'how" to think, to be critical thinkers. It is scary to see how brainwashed todays society of kids are, and social media is destroying them because they dont know how to think for themselves.
@@enigmaz9 And What I love is that they say conspiracy theorist are so closed minded people and cant think for themselves... No that is the opposite. Thinking something else maybe true then what is presented especially media lies.
Ah yes....18 years old and thinks he knows it all. One semester with his Liberal Professors and he is suddenly an expert of socialism.
The actual foundations opening him up to his professors brainwashing began in K-12.
Idk man, he was super respectful to him. Don't be mean in the comments I'm sure he's reading them. No one comes to a different worldview by someone being mean to them.
we cant be to hard on them for the reason they are told what they are learning is right and are forced to be graded on the subject. they lack the confidence needed to oppose the "higher" educated.
The 18 year old kid was very humble and really had a Nice approach until you realize what he's asking for is control over other people. That is always what the new liberal wants.
The ole, ‘i should get to class” retreat…. I love it!!!😂😂😂
You caught him in the early stage of the brainwashing. He was still willing to listen. God bless Charlie Kirk for having the patience and the skill to go out and do this.
I don't see much skill. He too has lots to learn about capitalism and socialism.
The free market is so pervasive that it FORCED this poor kid to buy an iPhone.
He's a victim 😂
😂😂😂
The only defining characteristic of socialism when it comes to the free market, is that it is regulated by the choice of the people for the benefit of the people. This is done for the purpose of eliminating exploitation, corruption and dangerous concentration of power... all of which are enormous downsides of capitalism which they really dont like to talk about.
Once you realise that true socialism is almost identical to capitalism minus all the really nasty stuff you start to understand why it is such a massive threat to the top few percent of the worlds population, and just how much power they really have to be able to prevent it from happening for so long.
The illusion of capitalism requires constant lies and maintenance of narrative of what both systems "are", it can not survive in the sunlight and strives relentlessly to control perception in order to survive.. takes credit for all human successes and no responsibility for its colossal failures.
Sure, capitalism is vulnerable to corruption and concentration of power that leads to inequality. But you haven't listed a single reason on how socialism prevents them.
no shit
The kid was misguided, not evil. Kudos to him for being respectful. We're all dumb and idealistic when we're young. Some more than others.
Well said with common sense 👏
Agreed.
Absolutely, couldn't agree more.
I very much enjoy the civil conversations of people disagreeing with Charlie. The kid was kind and tried to present his opinion in a legitimate way.
I thought it was just the soy...
Just reciting BS his professor told him.
To be fair, thats what most college kids have always done. It takes years and sometimes decades to truly digest the things you learn in college. Im 40 and even to this day, break down concepts and ideas we studied back then further with my free time, learning more about specific things and events and then I realize I was taught this, I just wasnt completely ready to understand it yet or know if its a good or bad idea until I have done life for awhile and have thought situations through 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 steps deep.

you obviously have no idea what communism is :
holodomor,
"the great leap forward",
"gulag",
the current concentration camps in china,
entire cities flooded because the dear leaders wanted to protect other cities (still modern china)
tofu dreg, mass theft by people that bribed the communist local leaders (again modern china) like banks that do not give the $ to the people that deposited, or construction companies that do not deliver the buildings at all
people locked up in their own homes during covid (some died in fires) and (surprise!) others heavily suffered from hunger (again! china!)
police state,
permanent hunger and no medical help (north korea).
they even managed to create a famine in venezuela, a country that was rich because of the oil, but the president was just entering mom and pop shops and just saying: this now belongs to the state.
i bet you would love to work for years, build up your mom and pop shop, then the president just waltzes in and takes it all
it is just pathetic how little you know about communism
Good for you at a young age having an experience like that. So many youth have to go through so much until they can simply be grateful for what we are given in a free society. I too am so grateful I was born in the USA. I was dumb kid but I have traveled all over the globe and we are blessed.

How do you define socialist? Do you consider Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, etc ... Socialist? They do have a lot more social programs than we do. Though, they still have freedom to start companies and have a free market. 👍
These are capitalist countries just because they have social government programs doesn't mean they are socialists because is "social".

@@jinwancthe European "socialist" country take issue with that accusation and call themselves capitalist.
@@jinwanc Thats the problem. Its not socialism at all. The entire west has been compromised by creditism. Which benefits neither political parties, only the wealthy benefit from it. They dont care about political positions of government. As long as they control it. Creditism replaced capitalism in 1913. Which was the banksters that did it. Capitalism does work. It makes it too volatile for any one person or people to stay in control. Banksters do not want that. Creditism was the solution to the great depression. Which they caused. The political elites were idiots and gave up equal opportunity for control. Peoples feelings ruin everything. Regulate the banks and not the corporations. Then you will begin to see the country return to capitalism. The value of every dollar in the bank will increase. Not decrease. Its so simple and stupid to fix. Thomas Sowell should be required reading for every person before they are allowed to vote.
First reading and writing in general
I think having good and extensive history lessons would suffice. Not just about their own countries, but also about how other countries were shaped.
I agree. It’s dangerous when only one view is promoted. I know when I was in college 30 years ago I also had the hope that the world could approach a Utopia, and it’s very good for the ego to believe you are very moralistic. Maturity over time and understanding complex issues from multiple angles has taught me it will never be possible. That’s not pessimistic, just an honest fact about innate human behavior. Thomas Sowell looks at complex issues from a data driven objective view regarding the real world application of these idealistic policy changes to see if they really worked over a period of time to achieve those goals, and almost every time not only do they fail to achieve the goals, they cause more harm to the people they were meant to help in fact. Studying the real effects of Welfare on the poor is a classic example, and is a perspective that must be shown to college kids to counterbalance the heavy promotion of Marxism etc. It’s eye opening and has changed my stance on many of the current social movements.
@jaquevius if you aren't a liberal as a kid, you don't have a heart. If you aren't a conservative as an adult, you don't have a brain...
Can't remember who said this, but I've always thought it was well said.
@@jaquevius Marxism is not moralistic, it is analytical, nor normative, and it is not utopian. Marx did away with Utopian socialism and substituted it with historical materialism. Innate human behavior is not selfish individualism. We would not have survived as a species that way. Welfare is not communist. It is social democracy developed to save capitalism from communist revolution. Welfare actually delays the revolution. What exactly are the effects of welfare? Let's take it away and we shall see won't we? What do you think will happen without a safety net?
