Very helpful and inspirational for most students of India who can't make the cut to top institutes like IIT and NIT, and get adrift for lack of guidance and get demotivated thereafter. It also gives a broad roadmap of how to prepare yourself to join your first company and then prepare to move on to a big product-based company. Today's kids, who are undergrads now should make it a point to bookmark this video and follow it devoutly all along. This is the golden period of your life to prepare yourself. Don't waste it by having fun playing games, hanging around with friends, and watching movies. You lose this gloaming hour, it'll be too late for you to get back on your feet. This video itself is a great mentor, especially for those who don't have one in real life. Thanks Fraz for giving it a thought to make an interview on a person with such a common & relatable background. Wish we had these videos and tutorials back in our days!

I've done my BCA and recently joined a company. One thing I noticed is the difference in treating a Btech and a BCA student. We get paid less for the same work and the salary difference is huge even if we have more technical knowledge then them. Many Companies don't even have openings for BCA and only for Btech. So it's better to do btech if you're from science.

Having the right knowledge is what matters most to interviewers, not education. I've been on both sides of the table in numerous interviews, and I can confidently say that a candidate's knowledge and presentation skills are what ultimately make the difference.
@@sandip7400 I agree with you. Your skills and your networks will really matter, but as for someone who is a fresher with no network. You will eventually find that Btech student have more opportunities compared to BCA. There is a evident discrimination between both.

Sir,there are several new courses launch by iits on data science and data analytics through online mode taking students without jee rank
offering bsc or bs degree . Sir what is your opinion on these type courses ? Will IIT degree give some edge ?
Like in case , if you are interviewing student those have done such courses ,what are your expectations and points on which you judge them?
BCA is not equivalent to BTECH. It is very hard to get job off campus after BCA currently.
Most companies hire either BTECH or MCA
That's why you develop skills and don't depend on your useless degree
