Metalworker was AMAZING back in the day you crazy moss boss. Its never not been amazing. You dont remember the artifact decks with tolarian academy, tangle wires, voltaic key, thran dynamos, metalworkers, masticores. It was cheap back in the day like everything else was, but metalworker always been my favorite card of all time. Thanks for doing the break, I was also 11 when I started playing and Urzas Legacy had just dropped, we used to go every weekend to a store called streks, it was in St. Petersburg, FL. I know exactly the “magic” you speak of from back then, I think being 11 years old had a lot to do with it, no parents, hanging out all day with like minded people. I met one of my best friends at Streks, he was like 19 at the time but for some reason he liked hanging out with me and my best friend. Were still really good friends to this day.
Moss dog, Im an '85er. We were the same age when we started playing so it's weird hearing you talk about certain things that resonate so close.
I discovered MTG through Disney Adventure Magazines and I saw the Shivan Dragon and Nightmare, and so goes the story of the rest if my life. Great to see you opening the best block on screen! Appreciate you, my dude!

My vote for most powerful Planeswalker might have to be for Sorin Markov, dude straight up MADE Avacyn to protect Innistrad while he was away exploring other planes. That's pretty dope if you ask me.
I joined Innistrad during Shadows over Innistrad. There was a guy that had the old cards, and seeing the flip werewolves and other flip cards was too cool and had to get in on the new one. I ended up getting Sorin and Jaces card in one pack. Anguished Unmaking, I think is what it was called, I'll always remember that card. Oh wait...Where the heck is Sorin, I can't remember if Nahiri trapped him in the stone or hellvault right? I really like Ajani, survived against Bolas. Wish they didn't kill of Dack Fayden too. Could go on and on forever, planeswalkers man.

Another awesome video! I started playing in 2008 at 19 years old. Seeing all these breaks before I got into Magic is so awesome.
As far as Planeswalkers, Nicol Bolas is tough for sure, but he must not be that powerful if he can't even escape being earth bound. Anyway, my favorite is Karn so it doesn't even matter lol

Joey that video was awesome. I love Nostalgia lane......talking of which, it was my birthday recently and my brother treated me to a foil copy of "Wonder" from Odyssey. We used that card in our UG Madness deck from the Odyssey block constructed Grand Prix London back in 2002!!! We had a blast that day. Now 20 year later as I'm getting back into playing and collecting MtG he treats me to one of the most memorable cards from my playing career!!!!!! Nostalgia rules. Skadoosh!!!

I know you’re an old school wrestling fan because you did a Randy Savage impression in a video a few weeks ago but maybe the back-to-back Elvish Pipers were a sign from “Rowdy” Roddy Piper for uploading this on what would have been his 68th birthday. I have a playmat of the Tristan Elwell Elvish Piper art altered with him playing the bagpipes.

My favorite set ever. First ever destiny pack I opened I got a foil masticore which was the big big chase card and someone traded me a mix sapphire on the spot for it. I couldn’t trade fast enough lol Slap a Rancor on that silverback!!

21:09 it’s funny, I have milked a goat. I did side jobs for this sweet old lady and she had a knee reconstructed so she couldn’t tend to her pregnant goat and the utters were so full it was insane. It was an experience 😂
If I crack a 4 dollar pack and manage to pull a 2$ rare or foil I consider that a win for me as I've gained half my value back usually after adding up the stuff above .50 I usually get 4 back so I'm happy either way. Haters will always Hate

Aminatou is by far the strongest planeswalker.
I was playing MTG since I was 10 with revised and unlimited but by the time Urza's block came out I was moving away from the game. Friends mocked me when I enjoyed playing with Portal and Homelands. The art from this set was great, and I love the older art and themes... dark age fantasy is always the best theme for magic imho, not that I don't enjoy recent sets like Tarkir, but neon dynasty and new capenna just don't feel like magic.
Most powerful planes walker is easily Kiora, thick thighs and throws Krakens around. 2 very deadly traits.... but Elspeth is always my favourite.
