Furka Steam Railway | Spectacular Swiss rack railway (4K)

- Subtitles available. The Furka Mountain Line Steam Railway is a cogwheel railway that connects Realp with Oberwald and was once the route of the Glacier Express. Due to the Furka Base Tunnel, the railway line lost its importance and was closed in 1981. Railway enthusiasts rebuilt the route and has been passable again since 2010.
Experience a journey with this impressive railway in the Swiss Valais and Uri.
Today mainly historical steam locomotives run on the imposing pass. The following steam locomotives can be seen:

@@leeseisenbahnen Ja, in der Tat das hatten wir. Das Wetter sah nicht gut aus. Viele Wolken, es sah nach Regen aus. Aber nachdem wir mit dem Dampfzug von Realp losgefahren waren, hatten wir Sonne. Wenn du Zeit und Lust hast, ich habe darüber ein Filmchen produziert und auf meinen Kanal eingestellt. Nicht so perfekt wie deine Produktion, Kompliment, dass ist schon großes Kino was du da angefertigt hast 👍

So, for me to understand: the upper valve gear and traction rods drives the gears that are on contact with the rack? The upper and the lower valve gears and rods, even that are a little bit mixed, they don't depend of the each other to operate?
Meno male che questa linea è stata ripristinata. Magari succedesse anche in Italia di riattivare molti treni di montagna che hanno soppresso!
