This exposed brick and concrete house boasts two courtyards divided by a central passage proposed as a dining space. These two courtyards serve as the heart of the home, providing a space where the clients gather and immerse themselves in the embrace of nature.

The living courtyard features foldable shutters that open up to a lawn, inviting clients to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. Inside, the living room showcases filler slab pots and oxide flooring that extend throughout, along with custom-designed wooden furniture crafted by the architects themselves.

First of all, kudos to the owners for building only 2350 square feet on a half acre plot. It's a beautiful home blending in well with its surroundings.
Everything is perfectly crafted. Only if they would at least paint the concrete part it would be more amazing. 😊
Their budget didn't allowed.
I like exposed concrete, it gels well with minimalistic ideology. So these are personal choices in the end.

don't know what was actually planned, but the house turned out to be like a modest 4 people zen monastery. one of the few designs on this page that i am impressed subconsciously but don't know much about consciously, a sort of mystical house. great work. actually a salute. to add the zen appeal further id have a 3 feet mud moat and the rest f the available compound completely to be covered by greens, trees etc...
to add to the subconscious appeal of the house.

@Buildofy Can you please create a basic video which shows what kind of house can be constructed as per the area of land available. Eg: A type of house can be constructed on area of 1000 sq feet, B type can be constructed on 2000 sq feet.

Being simple doesn't need to be ugly. The trend of exposed brick just for the sake of "being minimalistic" is not good.

Tamil nadu, Plot size 2 Acer, build sizs 2500sq yards, not looks like farm house, nice garden e erery side, Simple no modern no luxurious .. Court yards, some part of house & grarden makes dream house, chennai city to 20 kms long one village very nice. But inner side of city if they build then good, but still okin 2 Acer half Acer they for house and gardens its very nice...

When are you guys gonna focus natural thermal comfort apart from looks.. never ever you guys incorporate peak summer outside air and surface temperatures and inside without AC roof, wall and air temperatures.. this house looks like a oven
