      Thanks for breaking down each brand. I stayed at a Embassy suites last year, and it was phenomenal. Breakfast was on point. The service was amazing, and I got a really good upgrade. I might check out the LXR brand in the future.

      I would of went into conparatives for each brand based off of other chains. So hilton garden being comparative to hyatt place or something like that. Curio to w3 or Westin. Some of them don't exactly have comparative that I know of Tru or home2 but if hilton grand vacations is similar to wyndamn resorts at least in the sales department then I will never go. I was traumatized to the point I'll give away my 30k points before using them

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Absolutely and thank you! Yep, Embassy could be overpriced but a decent experience I see.
      LXR is for sure one I need to try very soon ha.

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I get that for sure Woodzy, but some people have no idea of the other brands so the comparison may fall on deaf ears, and I just don’t have experience at those other properties to even compare, I think I only mentioned Embassy Suites being comparable to a Hyatt Regency, and Tru is basically a Hyatt House.

      I’d rate Embassy Suites as A-tier based on my experience (particularly Virginia Beach location). Don’t forget the complimentary made-to-order breakfast and daily happy hour reception. In contrast, my experience with Hilton Resort Fort Lauderdale would be B-tier. Not bad, but not great. My wife also rates Embassy over Hilton Resort.

    😂😂😂😂😂 Rose Gold is best bro! Nice to have you visit me at my amazing hotel.
    So many brands that I’ve never heard of though. Spark, LXR, Tempo, and some others I don’t even remember.
    Conrad was definitely much better than Waldorf Astoria in Vegas, don’t get me started on the gym! 😂😂😂
    Excellent video Tony!!

    When I travel 80% of the time I stay at Hampton Inn’s! I have stayed in Home 2 and Hilton Garden inns during my travels also.
    I don’t see the difference in quality between the brands or rooms! The ones I’ve experienced have clean rooms, good customer service and the complementary breakfast has been good at Home2 and Hampton Inn.
    Why stay somewhere like the Embassy Suites where you have to pay for a overpriced breakfast when you can stay at the Hampton inn or Home2 and have the same quality hotel room! People act like Hampton Inn’s are like Motel6 🤣.

    • @JohnnyCashBack5X
      @JohnnyCashBack5X 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I agree that one can not see the difference in quality between the hotel brands. With that said, I stayed at the Embassy Suites last weekend and was offered free breakfast. I am a Diamond member but I think breakfast is offered to everyone.

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Totally agree, since the Hampton Inn has the most locations of any Hilton brand, I think you just get more good and bad reception with the numbers. In general, I think they are a decent brand, but not all could escape the bed bug tier unfortunately hahaha.
      And for sure, Embassy could be overpriced haha.

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For some yes, but I can see some clear differences from a Home 2, Tru and Tapestry, I love them all but for all different reasons.

      If a individual is not a Gold or Diamond member then breakfast is not complimentary at Embassy Suites. I just received Gold status a month ago but I’m still going to stay at a Hampton Inn or Home2 on a majority of my stays.

    Hamptons are inconsistent, but some are very good and better than DoubleTrees I’ve stayed at. We always stop at the Santee, SC one on the way down to Florida. I could give you others as well. If you travel with your dog (Marriott charges much more doing that), some of these are just outstanding and some are awful. You stay at a Hampton to spend the night when you’re on your way somewhere. You are being a bit unfair.

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely agreed on all fronts, it’s just because they were more Hamptons than any other brand of Hilton out there, and with the walls big numbers, he gets skews in both directions for sure.
      Being a bit unfair? Probably, but that’s also why these videos are fun because it’s based on everybody’s unique perspective.
      But in general, they are fine. Especially Hamptons in downtown city areas.

    hampton Inn can vary wildly but shouldn't be in the trash tier-I've stayed at several Hampton Inns that were nicer than a Hilton brand I stayed at.

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah I agree, in fact there’s a Hampton in West Virginia that is the best in America actually haha. 5 star hotel.
      But Hampton was an easy one to put in trash tier, and I had to have something down there haha.
      But agreed, they are the most variable since they have a large number of them all over.

    Long time Hilton Diamond member here and I stay 100+ nights per year. I have to have a full kitchen so my favorite is Homewood Suites or Home2 but annoyed by the Home2 points like you pointed out. Also location was great but was not impressed with the DC Conrad since the rooms felt like living in a shoebox. Agree with you mostly on Hampton Inn since thats trash but one exception is the Chincoteague, VA location. It won best Hampton Inn in the country and for good reason since it's on a island and location/property is amazing for a Hampton Inn. I hope to stay there again. If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend that place/location for a unique experience

    • @AnthonyVenture

      And absolutely, I always like to see the full kitchen, even though we never really use it haha.
      That’s pretty wild that that one Hampton Inn who’s the best in the entire country, maybe I should go there, and do a video titled, the best, and the worst Hampton Inn in the entire world 🤣

    Hahaha good stuff. I've been to most of these brands. The Signia is a great hotel. I went to the one in Orlando. I'd defiput Hilton Garden inn at the bottom, most don't have free breakfast... Canopy is a great brand. ... I don't think I've seen any $90 hotels in a while hahahaha
    The Crockford that I stayed in in Vegas was LXR. Best Hilton by far. Conrad neck and neck with Waldyin my opinion

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hmm, maybe you should do a ranking video on the Hilton brand, I would love to see how you were and called them, and all the different footage you have at all of them.
      How is that a Signia in Orlando?
      That’s amazing that the LXR was the best so far, I really need to stay at some of them.

      @@AnthonyVenture hahaha, I agree with most of your ranking but you know it's all opinionated and we all have different experiences.
      Maybe I should rephrase it, the Signa is pretty good hahaha because we stayed in a Room with The Disney view. The rooms are not that large but the property is very nice. The Waldorf, JW Marriot and Ritz Carlton are very close and we've tried all of them. I want to stay in the Presidential or King Executive Suite at the Signa... They are both over 2k sq ft! But also about $900 per night hahahaha.
      I think I've stayed in. 4 Conrad and 4 Waldorfs and the Crockford exceeded all of those.🫡

    Home2: the one near SeaTac airport is one of my favorites for work trips because of the kitchenette and the fourth floor having working Ethernet ports. Elevator slow AF and it's more expensive than the DoubleTree nearby. Which brings me to...
    DoubleTree: the cookies are legit, but they're marked as nut allergy friendly. The nuts are just replaced with other nuts.
    Hampton: it's definitely hit or miss. When it's a hit, it's great. When it's a miss, I'm immediately looking for other places to stay. There's no middle ground.

    Doubletree cookies are fantastic. It's hit and miss whether the Doubletree is a quality property or not. There's some notorious franchised Doubletrees that are an absolute dump, and there's also really good ones, typically in vacation spots. I actually really like the DT in Orlando right next to the Universal Studios parks and I'm going there with my girlfriend for an Orlando vacation in a couple of weeks. If you're booking a Universal vacation and don't want a hotel in their bubble, the DT is right outside of it and has good food and great amenities while still having a shuttle that goes there.

      Sometimes if the price is big enough difference I might risk going for a Hampton in rural areas.

    • @AnonymousUser-ww6ns
      @AnonymousUser-ww6ns 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For example if the Tru is $120, while the Hampton is olny $70. In that case I would risk it

    • @AnonymousUser-ww6ns
      @AnonymousUser-ww6ns 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      But if the difference is minimal then I don’t mind paying little more or the same for TRU

    The Orlando Embassy was kind of icky. Rooms needed pain, lots of scuff marks, could barely open the sliding door. Maybe it was just my luck? We didn’t complain, just wouldn’t stay again.

      I know at least 1 Hilton Garden Inn that is the same level, if not lower, than how you describe DoubleTrees to be right now. I think Curio Collection, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites, Hilton, and Home2 would be their best or some of the best. Hampton Inn definately isn't the best, but it also definately isn't bedbug tier either.

    • @AnthonyVenture
      @AnthonyVenture  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The issue is for a video like this, you need some brand to be bed bug tier, so if it isn’t Hampton, then I don’t know think any of them can be considered, aside from Spark etc.
      I forget if I put another.
      The thing is these things change based on the area they are in, so a bed bug tier Hampton can be an A tier since it’s in a downtown area.
      I just look to the averages of my personal experiences etc.
      Good point about those brands Lord Laroyalty as well!
