These cars are so underrated, thankfully they’re appreciating in value now

i have a Mitsubishi 380 the follow up car after this in Australia with a slightly bigger engine and redesigned Interior and body and its unbeliable they never sold well and made the factory bankrupt ... they were amazing quality and still are just people got obsessed with small cars and fuel prices too much.... ive never been in a more comfortable long distance car than Mitsubishi driving from Perth Australia to Victoria a good 2800km, he is right you can drive 12 hours straight and still feel great. the Verada was like a BMW an upmarket car at a fantastic price yet by the late 90s Mitshubishi was getting more competitiion and less sales .... i remember in the 80s they were the number 1 family car with the SE in 1987 we had one... now there is soo much competition from Kia and Hyundai and Honda and Suzuiki that were never there in the late 80s and early 90s in Australia..... i love Mitsubishi i think there the only Japan company that makes great quality cars at a great price and doesnt overcharge customers like Toyoto and Nissan do. They should be much bigger in sales they deserve it

My mum had a 1999 Xi. The head lining was falling down, had cream interior but the bolster on the drives seat was warn. Can't remember it having a key fob.She spend $2500 on a new exhaust, tyres and timing belt as it had just hit 101,000 kilometres. She sadly traded it in a month later for $500. Later I said I would have bought it off you for $500. It was probably scrapped for parts sadly.

Great video and a great car!
I bet it gets some looks.
I have the last model verada from 2004 but one of the very rare AWD versions.
    Such great cars.

Thanks! Yes, very rare cars here indeed. Mitsubishi really changed things up with the 380. My cousin has one in Australia and the difference is night and day.

I had a red Ralliart one of these and still have a white one in NZ Lovely cars but not as popular as a Holden SS or Clubsport as they front wheel drive.

I have an executive model 20th anniversary and with cloth seats and normal magna interior but still is very nice aswell I think they definitely beat bmw with the verada as it has Japanese reliability too, I've owned an e36 318i and a 328i and I'd much rather the magna both BMW's I've owned have had many issues

Hahah yes nothing can beat good ol' Japanese reliability.
