@@wg8223 In all honesty, I would be more concerned with battery life, as this only has a 53.1Wh battery (Which on second thoughts might actually be pretty big for this size of device) - but I'm guessing from the video that it shouldn't be a problem judging by what this guy said about playing on a train. If this thing has good thermals, battery life and acoustics, I'm sold haha EDIT: My current laptop (An HP Pavillion 14" /w i5-7200u has a 41Wh battery, no GPU and can last up to ~7 hours. I'd imagine this Razer device will have something that disables the GPU to save battery on certain power plans. Coupled with a smaller screen (the 1080p one would use far less power than the 4k one) and a much more power efficient CPU, it should perform reasonably well.
Don't buy a Razer Blade, i swear i used to have one 6 months ago. Its get hot that i literally have to let go of it. I used to dream of getting a Razer Blade by myself but my dad bought an old 2016 model for me. It runs an i5 and lags in gaming. So this new stealth is not a good excuse for me to buy it than the other brands. If it packs with GTX 1660 Ti i can agree
safwan said yeah you could just decrease the graphical settings of many games to increase FPS. But you also have to understand there is a demographic that wants 300 FPS in MOBAs for example.
I think you can get 300 fps, but what's the point? Can you really tell? I would much rather see a 1440p 144hz screen on a laptop than a 1080p 244 or 300hz screen
I’m don’t need a laptop immediately but when I do decide to get one, it would be between this and the MSI Prestige 14 which has the same specs. It’s also a few hundred dollars cheaper than the Razor Blade.
Price far too high, I'll be waiting for something with similar specs from ASUS or MSI that does not cost anywhere close to $1800. Thank you for the video though, PC Centric.
@@FeelMyBirdie well you pay for the portability. That's why a 2 core intel HD ultrabook used to cost more than a 4 core GTX 15 inch thicc gaming laptop. This Razer tries to have both great portability and a lot of power, that's why they can justify charging more than the competition, no one else makes something similar except maybe the just as expensive Microsoft surface book 13. Although I admit they went a bit too far
I just watched your first water cooled build it’s sick and you did a review on the laptop I’m looking to buy the razer stealth 2019. I like the ultra book style with the small form factor and plus it’s packing some power. I already have a titan rtx 9900k desktop pc but this looks like it will have enough power for more casual gaming and portability for traveling is a plus. Maybe you can do a review on some skins or a protective case for it
Currently use an Alienware M11x R3 and it's a bit long in the tooth (8 years I think?) and it's basically a glorified RBG web browser at this point, failing battery an' all. That said the Razer Blade Stealth with the 1650 in 1080p sounds like a really, really nice replacement device and the aesthetics aren't utterly hideous. Imagine sitting in a Café browsing the web with a giant PREDATOR logo beneath your screen, I imagine you'll get a few odd looks from the Daily Mail crowd! xD
What do you think about Google Stadia? If what they say it's true, would it still be worth it to buy expensive consoles or pc's? Hope you upload more often. All the best!
Yeah... But it's not. An RTX 1650 is not particularly powerful, especially not for the price. It will likely be £1500+ (given it is "up to" a 1650), for which I could get a full (non Max-Q) RTX 2070 laptop. There's nothing particularly exciting or new about this, it's just an ultrabook with an entry level gaming GPU in it and we have no idea about cooling. They produce well built laptops but I expected more from the title, at least a 2060 option.
Rohan Rao That’s true, however some people don’t like that form factor and even state the 15s are too big to carry. So having more options in the 13 inch chassis makes sense to me. They have pure cpu for productivity and if you need some video editing chops the 1650 can deliver and game. I see no losers here.
It's only the bottom and u cant really make it smaller by moving the display down because then u would have to compromise with a smaller trackpad which many prefer a larger trackpad
@@RymeofDawn Agreed that is something I don't like about the current zenbooks, IMO either a thicker bottom chin or make the display aspect ratio 16:10/3:2 so that the keyboard deck isn't too cramped ( which the taller aspect ratio would suit better for ultrabooks/work laptops and not gaming laptops ).
Razer cannot make a decent computer to save their lives. Zero quality control. I had 3 Blade 15's, all of them had issues and were returned. Amazingly bad for a computer that cost well over 3k with 2080. I got a MSI GS75. It has worked flawlessly since day one. It's a 17 inch with 32GB ram yet it is lighter than the razer 15 and cheaper to boot. Razer can suck it!!!!
I have the 2017 razerblade pro (4k w/GTX1080) and had my battery inflate on me which warped my entire frame. This damaged my motherboard and my keyboard does not register a lot of keys without a full-powered thrust of my index finger. This is actually my third attempt typing this because my keyboard is so horrible. Support is trash and are all bots reading from scripts. I am out of warranty and my battery started swelling again which further damaged the motherboard and keyboard keys which were never fixed. The supervisor at least offered me a free battery, but I would have to pay $130 for labor. I ended up buying an off-brand battery from china and replacing it myself for less than $130 and no down time. This laptop has been nothing but headache after headache since it arrived. I feel confident in telling all of you to steer clear of any razer laptop unless you want to find your mental breaking point. For what it costs, you are better off building your own pc and it will perform better and be less costly than a razer.
@CodeNet YT I travel for a living so I need a laptop. They were all under warranty. Razer replaced it 3 times before I asked for a refund. I got a MSI stealth GS75 with the 2080 and 32GB of ram it was $500 less than the razer. It is lighter than the blade 15 even though it is a 17 inch. It has worked perfectly since day one. Zero issues! I want to like razer too, but the quality just is not there...
i'm kinda worry about the thermal on the new Razer Stealth.
You should be!
They're running 3 heatpipes on it apparently - so chances are the thermals may be better than you expect
@@kingkea3451 That's good to know. thank you. I will definitely check it out when it's available.

300 HZ on a laptop just doesn't make sense. You won't get 300 fps lol

It would be so much expensive putting a 16:10 aspect ratio screen on the Stealth?
Id rather them update the 15 inch base with a bigger battery and newer CPUs
that is a new cpu
The way you just brush off the 300htz display
lol even with a 300htz screen some 8 year old will still kick everyones ass will just look cool when it happens

All razers have problems. All of them!!!
The Razer Blade Stealth is almost as big as my Razer Phone 2. Seriously though it looks to be something I would be interested in for sure.
The blade is terrible...
You mean the phone is almost as big as the stealth
