@@mikem5113 A lion can be active and in good health at 2years old. It doesn’t mean it’s in its prime. Prime means peak and this is not difficult to grasp. The lions in this video are most likely nomadic.
@dre22 Yes, the narrator states that the lions were nomadic. Per Merriam Webster, “in one’s prime” can mean, “active and in good heath.” A 2 year old human cannot be in its prime - not active enough. But a 2 to 3 year old lion is a sub-adult. Latter teenagers, ie a sub-adult humans, can be in their prime.Therefore it stands to reason that sub-adult lions can also be in their prime. And the narrator also mentioned the lions’ “inexperience” and that they, “were obviously still quite young.” It’s not really stated nor implied that the lions were fully grown. Point is: I think you’re being overly pedantic in your criticism of the narration, which I found to actually be quite good.

Quite strange that you accuse me of pedantry when you’ve just typed a load of word salad whilst clutching a thesaurus. A 2year old human? This is the issue with these animal videos. Everybody thinks they are an expert.

These are not male lions in their prime and commentator was wrong to suggest otherwise. Their mane is not fully grown.
