Way late to this but personally I like all the Checkers shenanigans no matter what the role. It is good seeing a person play so many different roles and have fun in all of them.
My fave was corporate liaison checkers when people played along, or even rped against. However, there's a couple of episodes where CL Checkers struggled to really get people to actually play along with his shenanigans, so imo, he has the highest highs and the lowest lows.
As someone who has never watched a playthrough of this game, only heard about it in passing mention and only have a basic idea of how everything works, I have no idea what is going on or what you are doing. But I am thoroughly entertained.

Well. This was quite a personally interesting episode for me. The guy you were gushing about (Bast) is actually one of my IRL friends. I've lived under the same roof as him at one point, even. Ever since I introduced him to SS13 he's expressed interest in helping me get the codebase I'd been dicking around with on and off since 2012 or so to a stable state that I'm happy with hosting constantly. Presently, he, myself, and another guy are considered the current developers of that branch. I bring this up because I noticed that the aforementioned third guy *just so happened* to be playing in the round this very episode was filmed in. So yeah. A few fun facts for ya. I did a hell burn on Bay when the SM went fucky and got launched out the ship it made more energy than I EVER saw on that server. It was going great until the room exploded into hellfire because the pipes caught fire. Sadly I wasn't wearing a hardsuit or suit at all save a fire suit (it was warm before) I managed to be able to get out a very long scream about God abandoning me for my sins for trying to make more power screaming about how I angered the holy fire. Weirdly enough I had about the ENTIRE medical team and engineering pull some JOJO shit and teleport into the control room the doctors were surprised I survived I managed to make a recovery by getting FBP
CL Checkers are some of your best videos, in my opinion, but that role is depend on how others interact with you. Sometimes you just get weirdo MPs who don't want to do anything but play their police role.
i've been playing on citadel for + a year now since tg bagil/sybil went to shit, i avoided the worst of it. and fyi citadel space is just flatout 8x more lethal then basic tg space, you only live for a few seconds to grab a space suit outside. and a few months ago we had a realist space heating coefficient pr, that got pulled the round after due an oopsie. turns out, space started cooking, along with the entire station. i was in mining said round with a sabotaged t-com uplink to the station so .. unware of the screaming on coms station side. i take the mining shuttle up to the station, and get cooked in like.. 6 seconds. mind you i was in metastation cargo, so on the.. almost other side of the station from where the engi loop was cooking. out of the 87 crew, only 4 escaped to cc and 12 to mining, i wasn't one of them. i was stuck in the cloning buffer with a few other crew in the prescanned auto-cloning cycle, just to get cooked in 2 seconds after popping out.
I really would like to see goon miner Checkers, I think you'd like this job. Easy to understand but if you dig deep, it's insanely deep. Also, very comfy. On space maps you pull the asteroids into mineral magnet or take the shuttle to the diner and travel around asteroid field, on ocean maps you mine in the trench which is basically underwater lavaland. And it has sharks with machine guns My opinion may be biased because miner is currently my favourite job on goon

I like a Checkers hard at work, with high shenans included. So my favourites are, QM checks - classic and hard working CE checks - educational and hard working Chem checks - educational and mischievous!
QM checkers and CE checkers are the ultimate forms of the extra-dimensional man. Throwback to the occasional chemistry checkers, famous for his SPEED. Chemistry on TG is massively changed though, the chemists now have a massive room to make some kind of chemical factory a la factorio. Meth factory? Maybe.
I really enjoyed both QM and CL, mostly because both resulted in crazy interactions with people. Also, my D&D brain reads CL as ‘chaotic Lawful’, which I think is a perfect summery of how you played that. CE also gets up to some truly fantastic madness.
Mining Checkers, CE Checkers, QM Checkers are all great, but I really really enjoy Chemist Checkers- you always attract SO MUCH BAD STUFF when you chemist! It makes for great viewing. Alien Checkers is also good.
Corporate liaison Checkers is legend supreme, especially when he became the xeno-messiah. Although that one time with Checkers the Chemist and poisonous gasses and puke death, I nearly died laughing.
I think the subject, er, the *patient* needs to be unconscious if you’re ghetto operating on a normal table. For future limb-removing-shenanigans reference.
I enjoy all styles of Checkers, but Classic TG-QM checkers is my number one, due to how, wacky and crazy things could get, and followed by Liaison checkers, for the ever growing story of a mid-tier corporate officer, rising the ranks from the Detroit office division to the breakfast foods division, to being a marketing R&D head for one of the toy branches of Weyland-Yutani, as we follow his inspiring rise through the ranks only to suffer setbacks and delays on that elusive Executive officer position thanks to incompetent marines, inept staff, inconsiderate aliens or just galactic fuckery. CE is cool, but, also the most, Routine. Hellburn here, PTL laser there, stuff burning there and yon. it's not a bad thing but is, certainly more routine and predictable. On a side note, the episode of chef checkers where you spiked the food and turned everyone into lizards, that was funny. favourite episode

Having watched this video I can't believe in my brief testing the phrase "Less is more" never occured to me. I even tried an 80% oxy burn to bring down the specific heat of the max pressure mix but only broke 6k briefly
