Good video Jeremy. We purchased MVC in Oct 2022 but they had already moved over to a points based system at that time. Given the bonus points we received at the onset, we have traveled to Palm Desert in a 1br . Grand Vista in a 1br, and will be going to Ko Olina in Oahu in May 2023 with a 1br. Now that we have basically reset to just the original 1500 points, as you mention, there is not much of a chance for 1br but mostly just studios perhaps once per year. I think what we may do is just look at short stays initially and then just try to sell off our points. MF for 2024 jumped to just over $1400.00. We like the Marriott properties very much and will start to rent through TUG or RedWeek. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, 1500 points isn't a lot to work with and as you say the fees are getting out of control. It is getting harder to justify the costs.

Another great video Jeremy! We bought into Vistana over a year ago, best decision for our family. I am still unclear about Interval international. We didn’t elect to change to abound points this year. All these questions, but not ready to meet with a sales person for 90 min to discuss while on vacation. Thanks so much for watching. Chances are a 90 minute meeting while on vacation won't help much. Their goal is to just sell you more timeshare. For now, you are best to just continue to use HomeOptions/StarOptions to book at other Vistana timeshare resorts. Converting to Abound Club Points is something that should be considered only on a case by case basis.

Another way to get great use out of legacy enrolled weeks when converting to points is to book multiple shorter trips. We have been able to squeeze 21+ days out of two enrolled weeks from Grande Ocean. I think the real sweet spot with MVC is for those with flexibility in travel dates and destinations.

Sun-Thur stays can really help stretch on points. Great to be able to get 21+ days from a single non lock off week.

Yes, absolutely In my opinion, resale weeks are by far the best value, even with the added fees to exchange through Interval International.

How did you book in to Saratoga Springs with an Orlando based Marriott week- I thought there was a regional block?

There are ways around this regional block by using Grande Vista and the Florida Club.

Have you ever considered doing a video on how to use II the way you are doing it? I am in both RCI and II. I find RCI with trading power a bit more transparent and easier to understand than IIs system. I think an II basics video would be useful to your watchers.
