we always see a very poised and controlled Christine during this number, but she brings a very chaotic, truly wrecked and raw Christine, very fresh take, love her!

Not to rain on your parade but like a lot of Christines GO OFF on this song. I know you just wanted to praise Meghan but what she's doing is hardly new (and this in no way is a jab against her, I love her a lot and do think she's a GREAT Christine)
Meghan's interpretation is how I always invisioned this song to be performed. Whenever I perform this song it's more about the story of Christine being at her lowest point then it sounding pretty. I prefer to watch someone be emotional and powerful than a young naive flower.

Saw her with Gardar Thor Cortez in Chicago for Love Never Dies. They were amazing. I was in NYC 2 weeks ago (saw Wicked) and almost went to see Phantom of the Opera, but I'd just seen it in Chicago in December with Derrick Davis playing the role of the Phantom. Wanted to see it again cause it was her and Ben Crawford.

No denying Meghan has a powerful and beautiful voice, but I feel like like when she hits the powerful points in the songs it's just to much..too much vibrato and the annunciation is just over the top. Christines voice is meant to have a sweeter subtle flow in it, but knows when to add the raw emotion. I do think Meghan would've been much better casted as Carlotta, her voice is literally perfect for it
She's an opera singer after all. You can hear it in the style

Bravi! bravi! bravissimi! I saw my VERY FIRST live show of Phantom Of The Opera in Singapore 2019 World Tour. To be honest, I wasn't so sure about Meghan in the first act but as the show went on, she's incredible. Although her vibrato is a bit too much...

Her version sounds too harsh in my opinion. I prefer Sierra Boggess personally. I'm sure Meghan is a very sweet person but I don't care for her Christine.

I think the thing I like about Meghan is that she is the only Christine I have ever heard who conceivably sounds like she could sing Opera. Which is probably because she comes from and Opera background! I saw her live and it was truly incredible. Like, I've seen this show so many times but I had chills the whole time. I love Sierra too, though. I've never had the opportunity to see her live but I hope to one day!
Yeah. I don’t really like her interpretation. It seems too aggressive and mature for Christine. The character is sweet and naive and this song is more of an ode to her father and her past. This just seems really angry.
Christine has been played the same way for decades, I think it's very refreshing!
Yeah, I... I... Didn't like it. I wanted to. Don't get me wrong. Stunning actress, stunning voice... BUT not only she looks too old to be the young and naive Christine in POTO (for LND she's probably perfect), it doesn't help she sounds kinda harsh from the start. The way I perceive it, it should begin soft and then, near the "why can the past just die" would be an appropriate moment to just put some raw emotions and maybe be a bit more aggressive.
She does sound a bit breathy
Yes she does... And is also a bit too nasal at times, which can sound a little annoying

She's good although there are some flats because of her vibrato. But for me, Sierra Boggess is still the best Christine.
