I love how Ramin is attentively looking and listening to every single person that is singing at the moment. Being incredibly talented himself, he is also so full of appreciation for other performers. It's really beautiful.
When he did the handshake and then a bow to michael crawford in the 25th anniversary, i was astounded at how humble he is. It feels like michael was passing the baton to him now that he's the next phantom and ramin is very appreciative of michael being the original.
@@lisaandothers Yes! You could see how honored he was to be in the presence of the original Phantom, and how Michael was almost brought to tears by it (me too!) :')
@s.v3903 I understand the difference of fantasy with reality, I wouldn't want to recreate 99% of the porn I enjoy. However, this is way too common with women, the double standard I mean. And men are one inconsistency away, of "say" and "do", from losing faith in women and humanity in general 😀
I know I’m back to this video but hear me out: It’s very obvious that Sierra respects all of the Phantoms so much (the angel she is), and that she’s so honored to be Christine in this setting. She loves that she can finally smile singing this song. The thing is, when you’re comfortable and have chemistry with one of your best friends, you unconsciously lean into them. See the placement of Sierra’s center of gravity (her chest) always in towards Ramin. Every movement from her just seems like another way to be close to him. The way that she feels him behind her: she doesn’t have to see him or feel his hands on her for them to feel electricity. And THAT’s why their chemistry is so special: she is HIS angel, and his only. They can sing it with anyone they want, it will never have the pure electricity that Sierra and Ramin will always have.
You just spoke my mind! My thoughts exactly! Amazing friendship, and wonderful chemistry. I feel blessed having been born in the right century to hear them sing together
I agree with this statement so much, and if you notice at like :10 second mark Ramin is rubbing his hands together in anticipation of Sierra’s singing and granted through the beginning part of the song it only focuses on his side, but do you notice his subtle smile the entire time or how is eyes never glance away, that to your point is the kind of chemistry the two of them have developed which is truly one of a kind
100% correct. I don't believe there ever has been or will be a partnership like these 2 for this show. They are absolute pure magic together. And as someone above said, THE HANDS! How are Ramin's hands so freaking sexy? And also agree with the "What's your sexuality? Ramin Karimloo." But I do feel strongly that Sierra is the best Christine ever. By a LOT. I think John Owen Jones may win on pure vocals as the best phantom if you're just listening, but Ramin is by far the sexiest phantom and acts it the best. IMNSHO.
Sierra has such a strong voice. She's singing really really high and singing against four other really strong singers, and yet her lines never get lost. You can always hear Christine. So much power and control in her voice.
'Hahahaha look at her I got to work with her this entire time she's the best Christine she's *MY* angel of music and not yours.' -Ramin for the ENTIRE VIDEO
I love Ramin and sierra's chemistry they have the best because they can get up close and personal with eachother cause they're besties. They won't ever be in a relationship but they are best friends which is awesome
Lindzanator3000 I love how they show you can be best friends and super close without any romantic relationship being in the mix! Their friendship is definitely goals! He loves his wife more then anything but that's he's Best friend! Oh I melt!
@@velovelo196 Haha very true, I love JOJ and Hugh and many other Phantoms, as well! Meant no disrespect to them, I was just having some fun 'cause I love the audience reaction. 😄
It's likely the way they had rehearsed it that Hugh would be the "leader" in Phantom of the Opera and Ramin in Music of the night. As much as i like Peter Jöback, his voice dissapears into the others and the audience can barely hear him.
MEEE! That slow head turn? Like... "did she just look at another phantom?" "Did he just try and touch her" oh no no no this will not stand." Hahahahaha. And then I swear to Andrew Lloyd Webber he said "MY" angel of music with so much more emphasis on "MY" than I have ever heard him deliver that line before. He even points at himself when he says the word "my."
Sarah Brightman is Andrew Lloyd Webber's Angel of Music.. Sierra Boggess is Ramin Karimloo's Angel of Music as he clearly pointed out lol "MY Angel of Music"
I know we all love Ramin (how not to?) but just a shout out for Peter Joback. I guess the audience was not too familiar with him but he is huge in Sweden. After this 25th Ann performance, he went on to be POTO on Broadway, did such a great job that he was invited to be POTO for the 30th Ann Broadway performance. Also, Peter recently came out to tell the story of how he was raped at age 11 and how he and his brother survived an abusive father. So kudos Peter, you are a light for those who have been abused ... proving there is always the possibility of a great life after.
I never knew that...it’s good to see him wanting to show those who have been affected by those things that theirs hope! I makes me respect him even more!
+PupCake1025 That's not Ramin Karimloo because he had just performed for the 25th anniversary and is still in costume. The one who did the chin touch was Hugh Panaro. The one next to him was Peter Joback and the one next to Ramin is John Owen-Jones.
The first three Phantoms were really good. But. When Ramin sang. I had to pause the video because I was having a heart attack. How does he have Such an incredible voice???
In the beginning, Ramin looks around like "Are you guys sure you wanna sing? Cause, I got this." and then later he looks at her like "Thats my girl". I just love the both of them!
When each one of the Phantoms started to sing the audience cheered and clapped. But I love that moment in which Ramin starts to sing and the audience screams and cheers... It's clear that Ramin is the favourite!!!
okay but did anyone else think that ramin looked like he was about to cry because of how proud he was of sierra when she walked out looking so beautiful at 0:10?? and then he looks at hugh and peter all like “do you guys see her? she’s my christine. look how beautiful she is” as he nervously plays with his hands and rings just like he did when he realized everyone was looking at him because of his beautifully powerful voice when he comes in at 9:32 during music of the night... this is why i love ramin so much as a performer and person. he’s humble and always proud of his friends and they way he pays attention to each person singing at that moment shows that he respects everyone on that stage as an artist. and his friendship with sierra is so pure and rare. they are the best pairing in my opinion.
Thanks for pointing that out Karissa, and you are absolutely right ... and he is so lovely! And he smiled and smiled, gosh that smile ... it can be bottled and sold!
3:09 Sierra looks at Hugh 3:12 Ramin: "GET AWAY FROM HER" 3:14 Ramin: "OH HELL NAW" 3:16 Ramin: "SHE IS MINE" 3:19 Ramin: *points at self* "Sing MY angel of music"
I love how at 3:15 Sierra instantly knows that Ramin is next to her and she instinctively tilts her head in such a Sexual yet playful manner. Then Ramin just claims her with “ *MY* angel of music”
I was just watching Ramin the whole time:) His voice is ....i cant describe itAnyone amused by how Ramin and Sierra's obvious chemistry overshadowed the other phantoms? Edit: Also, notice how he proudly smiles at her at the start like HELL YEAH.
+skyletta0626 I did too xD He's just obviously the perfect as the role of Phantom, after Gerard Butler of course ;) That moment when Ramin ja Sierra sang together the whole audience were like "WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!
I feel like when Ramin hears Sierra sing her voice softly eases him into Phantom mode and she's the only one who can really do that to him, it's magicalll
I love their own little mannerisms. It shows how they would play the phantom even though they aren't in makeup. For example, I imagine JOJ as a gentle phantom while Ramin would be a more powerful one. They are all so talented in their own ways. Also Ramin's eyebrow thing at 2:35 gets me every time 😂😂😂
I love watching performances like this, where you can see and hear the differences between each actor's personal interpretation of the character. Ramin carries a lot of power in his voice and translates it very well to the mannerisms of Erik, John Own Jones, adds to the romanticism with his clear voice, Hugh's portrayal especially here, provides an almost innocent sensitivity to the character that harkens back to the gothic elements of the novel, and Peter Joback in his portrayal here portrays the creative thinker and musician that the Phantom is. Its absolutely fascinating, and it makes me cry every time. I love Phantom of the Opera so much!
This is so true.and well said! I love how they pay close attention to each other and enjoy each other's performances. There is an admiration as they listen to each other.
I don't know if you noticed. It because Eric nearly forgets the lyrics to the song. Ramin reassures him with a simple nod to tell him it was correct and helped him through the build up and smiled because stuff like that is common.
They've performed together for a while they were both on Broadway. So, of course there's chemistry. But, sadly, he's married; and she left the cast. So, yeah.
CLASSIEST PISSING CONTEST EVER , but the other phantoms clearly noticed that sierra and Ramin just belong together. they may not have been happy about it but Ramin's voice is also clearly the steadiest of them all! And those little extra touches Ramin does, i diedd
I love how at the beginning Ramin just smiles at Sierra but it also looks like he's glaring at the other Phantoms. Even when he starts to sing all the other Phantoms just stepped up took her hands and sang but Ramin he comes in nad just stands right there blocking the others from her view and just takes control like "she's still me Christine". Oh Ramin he's the Phantom even out of the mask.
The masked phantom (Hugh) gestures to Sierra and Ramin immediately walks up, turns her around and goes "sing MY angel of music" whilst pointing to himself
Probably the best Phantom quintet I’ve seen-Sierra makes it make sense, turning to each as they sang, as Christine might, and the dynamic between the Phantoms is not hostile, but is definitely there.
Honestly to me it looked like the Phantoms were not so subtley telling Ramin that he definitely had the Power of the Phantom. Cause he got all flustered and even Sierra broke out into a big grin when she noticed.
Ramin is so the best phantom ever. He and Sierra have such amazing chemistry it just leaps out at you, and let's face it, you either have it or you don't, it's more than just the voice. Sierra reaches that top E so easily, it's amazing - that's one high note!
Also notice how Ramin grabbed Sierra's hand first before anyone else and how JOJ looked over at Ramin when he was singing like "get off your high horse boy before i knock you down!!" 😂😂😂 priceless
I turned all kinds of shades of red when Ramin started to sing to Sierra. His presence on stage is so powerful. No one can match his charisma. He’s dripping in maleness on stage and not to mention that little devilish smile. Their chemistry is undeniable on stage. Swoon.
When Ramin is a phantom, looking at his fingers, his soul seems to be filled with phantoms. In particular, his left hand is always acting. I applaud Ramin's passion for acting.
Ramin literally knows that he's owning the stage and that he's like the best phantom out of all and he's like "Sierra is MY angel and MY Christine, no touchy"
can we also appreciate the fact that everytime one of the phantoms enters character and sings their face expresses as if they were wearing the mask (for the ones who are not)? that for me reveals how familiar and close to their heart they keep the role.
@@yehudisfriedman8459 the movement of the mouth, they move their mouth to the side, i imagine they can’t move their face properly because of the makeup and the mask, so they move their mouth away from all of that
Given that they were in Love Never Dies together, Ramin's Phantom is the only one her Christine CHOSE to be with. They kinda thought that way in the 25th anniversary Royal Albert Hall show. In Ramin's podcast The Hang, part 2 with Sierra at 8:20 mark she says "And I love that we got to do Phantom 25th together AFTER we did Love Never Dies. Because we both had done the parts before, then we played _what happens,_ so we know what their relationship was based on that, and I think it informed us even more. *_And It gave us permission to love each other."_* Regardless of what you think of Love Never Dies, These two MET because of it, and thus established their versions of Christine and Phantom as endgame, so their chemistry is gonna be off the chart. She continues to talk about a student of hers asking if she regrets going with Raoul at the end of TPotO, and she says it's different every time. Sometimes she leaves thinking "thank god, thank GOD" and sometimes on the boat she wouldn't even look at Raoul and just be looking at The Phantom. But she said "And that night that we did the 25th, that was unplanned but... I- [Ramin: "that look back?"] That look back! I couldn't- _I couldn't leave you._ But I also couldn't leave Hadley." Their Phantom and Christine are SO intertwined at this point.
That's honestly why I'm grateful for LND, despite not liking the story (love the music, though.) If not for it, Ramin and Sierra probably wouldn't have met and established their friendship, chemistry and trust, which made their performances and dynamic in the RAH performance so spectacular. And the fact that, as you say, they'd already played the Phantom and Christine, with other people in POTO and then with each other in LND, informed and added to their performances in POTO 25, which I'm so glad has been immortalized in DVD/Blu-ray, so new generations of Phans can always watch it, because I'd argue it's the definitive POTO film adaptation (I only put it ahead of the Lon Chaney version because it makes me mad he doesn't get redeemed in that one.) I can easily ignore LND (apart from listening to the aforementioned excellent songs), but I'm glad that it brought these two together as friends/colleagues, as it resulted in one of the best Phantom/Christine pairings in any POTO show. Also, that's really interesting to hear Sierra's thoughts on the matter, thanks for sharing!

I love how Ramin is attentively looking and listening to every single person that is singing at the moment. Being incredibly talented himself, he is also so full of appreciation for other performers. It's really beautiful.
I love the way he was looking at Michael Crawford when he got on the stage at the Albert Hall show
Yes!
When he did the handshake and then a bow to michael crawford in the 25th anniversary, i was astounded at how humble he is. It feels like michael was passing the baton to him now that he's the next phantom and ramin is very appreciative of michael being the original.
@@radiantsun and the fact that Ramin is also the original Phantom of Love Never Dies makes me speechless!!
@@lisaandothers Yes! You could see how honored he was to be in the presence of the original Phantom, and how Michael was almost brought to tears by it (me too!) :')

Women be like "Men are so TOXIC!"
Also women...
@@Fasmidiot a hold, don't compare men with fictional characters. You can't reach perfection.
Thanks for the time stamp so I can just watch this over and over again😂
Honestly guys nobody plays The Phantom better then Ramin . He doesn't just play the part, he becomes The Phantom .
Agreed all the way!
I think Michael Crawford is just as good to be fair
Good point!
glad you agree :-]
Brennan245 I really think Michael Crawford is excellent but Ramin Karimloo is superior Phantom, him and Sierra is impressive their chemistry
RAMIN WANTS TO MAKE IT SO CLEAR THAT HE AND SIERRA ARE THE BEST PHANTOM AND CHRISTINE
That is very true!
Agree!
Watch at 2:36 Ramin raises his eyebrows it killed me😂😂
And he is so right! 🤷♀️
and he succeeded XD
There was the last guy who wanted to be mister handsome, but Ramin is just the best. Plus the mask
I know I’m back to this video but hear me out:
It’s very obvious that Sierra respects all of the Phantoms so much (the angel she is), and that she’s so honored to be Christine in this setting.
The way he looks at her... damn...
You just spoke my mind! My thoughts exactly! Amazing friendship, and wonderful chemistry. I feel blessed having been born in the right century to hear them sing together
Judah Neese 6
Scrolled through the comments to make sure Ramin was getting the love he deserved. Was not disappointed

I love Ramin and sierra's chemistry they have the best because they can get up close and personal with eachother cause they're besties. They won't ever be in a relationship but they are best friends which is awesome
***** good to be close when you are ready
Lindzanator3000 I love how they show you can be best friends and super close without any romantic relationship being in the mix! Their friendship is definitely goals! He loves his wife more then anything but that's he's Best friend! Oh I melt!
The fact that they’re not dating makes their relationship so much more wholesome
1:29 Ramin radiates such strong "listen up fives, a 10 is singing" energy here and I am here for it.
I just laughed so loud at your statement!! It's so true!! Everyone should just "step aside, step aside"

Is anyone here after falling into the deep dark hole of Sierra Boggess videos during quarantine?
And Ramin Karimloo too. Yes, that's me
I’d never even heard of Ramin or Sierra until they put POTO up for quarantine lol now I’m obsessed
Stephanie Krause yes, me
More like the deep dark lair of Ramin
Ivd say it's rather a deep light hole.. But everything else YES
I love how they're all looking at Ramin in the song Music of the Night like he's the leader of the quintet
Quartet
lol ikr
I know right. Its like he was leading that whole thing
He is the leader of the phantom pack.
It's likely the way they had rehearsed it that Hugh would be the "leader" in Phantom of the Opera and Ramin in Music of the night. As much as i like Peter Jöback, his voice dissapears into the others and the audience can barely hear him.
Its 2020, I'm still watching this. Who else is going on a Rierra binge?
Yes, me, I am.
Been repeatedly watcging this since i discovered it❣️
Meeeeee
Same here. Their connection is beautiful.
He even points at himself when he says the word "my."
i want to see a reverse version of this which is 4 christines and 1 phantom
Mars Ahhh yes!
Let 'em fight over Ramin
Jesus christ do you WANT him to die? That man couldn't survive.

Sarah Brightman is Andrew Lloyd Webber's Angel of Music.. Sierra Boggess is Ramin Karimloo's Angel of Music as he clearly pointed out lol "MY Angel of Music"
I think that Sierra is ALW's new Angel of Music.
He wrote Love Never Dies just for Sierra to play Christine. She's definitely his new Sarah Brightman/Angel of Music.
Make Senses to me!
It makes me like Peter Joback even more!!!! I think he has a sweet and painful sad voice.
I thought he was so weak compared to the other ones...
I never knew that...it’s good to see him wanting to show those who have been affected by those things that theirs hope! I makes me respect him even more!
Weak? The Phantom is a scared child, i think Peters voice is a different but very Good version

Ramin doesn’t deserve a queen like Sierra
John Owen Jones is the longest running Phantom in history... he's NOBODY'S backup singer.

* tiny lil chin touch *

+PupCake1025 That's not Ramin Karimloo because he had just performed for the 25th anniversary and is still in costume. The one who did the chin touch was Hugh Panaro. The one next to him was Peter Joback and the one next to Ramin is John Owen-Jones.
+Artemis7941 Ah! Thank you :)
No that chin touch at 1:35 is Ramin.
+Artemis7941 no, that was in London, this is from NY:) Hugh Panaro is the one in the costume, Ramin is standing next to Peter ;)

Ramin is married and has children but him and sierra are best-friends
i know but if he wasnt he should
I know right
lol yup they would make the best couple since they are both really nice and love music
okay but did anyone else think that ramin looked like he was about to cry because of how proud he was of sierra when she walked out looking so beautiful at 0:10?? and then he looks at hugh and peter all like “do you guys see her? she’s my christine. look how beautiful she is” as he nervously plays with his hands and rings just like he did when he realized everyone was looking at him because of his beautifully powerful voice when he comes in at 9:32 during music of the night... this is why i love ramin so much as a performer and person. he’s humble and always proud of his friends and they way he pays attention to each person singing at that moment shows that he respects everyone on that stage as an artist. and his friendship with sierra is so pure and rare. they are the best pairing in my opinion.
Karissa Holden yeah he’s incredible!

Good lord that on-stage chemistry is unreal.
I love their own little mannerisms. It shows how they would play the phantom even though they aren't in makeup. For example, I imagine JOJ as a gentle phantom while Ramin would be a more powerful one. They are all so talented in their own ways. Also Ramin's eyebrow thing at 2:35 gets me every time 😂😂😂
Omg I thought I was the only one who noticed Ramin's activ eyebrow haha

+Misty Molly I just saw JOJ, he was a gentle Phantom until scorned, he does angry very well.
+Misty Molly Nice post! :)
+Suzy Johnson It's like whoopdeedo, let's go upstairs!!!
Well said!
I haven’t seen a bad phantom, I particularly like Thomas James O’Leary
You can tell Ramin and Sierra have a special bond. Just by the way they interact with each other. I heard they are best friends
9:36 Ramin: * they're all looking at me, where do I look? * ... * akward smile at audience *
just found that so cute
And he puts his hands together nervously while smiling like a little kid , it's so adorable 🥺♥️
I don't know if you noticed. It because Eric nearly forgets the lyrics to the song. Ramin reassures him with a simple nod to tell him it was correct and helped him through the build up and smiled because stuff like that is common.
Can we just talk about how Ramin looks at her? I mean come on, they're chemistry is unlike anything I've ever seen.
Yes! Like when he points at himself when he says, "My Angel of Music" ! And when he touches her face

The masked phantom (Hugh) gestures to Sierra and Ramin immediately walks up, turns her around and goes "sing MY angel of music" whilst pointing to himself
i'm constantly blown away by Sierra Boggess's control. she makes it look so natural!!!!
Probably the best Phantom quintet I’ve seen-Sierra makes it make sense, turning to each as they sang, as Christine might, and the dynamic between the Phantoms is not hostile, but is definitely there.
9:31 Ramin joins in with a distinct " *Power* " and just this huge grin and looks around like "oh shit, *everyone's* looking at me. You guys!"
Honestly to me it looked like the Phantoms were not so subtley telling Ramin that he definitely had the Power of the Phantom. Cause he got all flustered and even Sierra broke out into a big grin when she noticed.
OMFG it's amazing
i swear he broke for a second he was like "dammit you guys why are you all looking at me no"
Ramin is so the best phantom ever. He and Sierra have such amazing chemistry it just leaps out at you, and let's face it, you either have it or you don't, it's more than just the voice. Sierra reaches that top E so easily, it's amazing - that's one high note!
0:58 Ramin giving off “that’s my girl” vibe, like he’s a proud dad lol I love it.
You know Ramin is good when he gets invited to something like this even though he never played phantom on broadway
Also notice how Ramin grabbed Sierra's hand first before anyone else and how JOJ looked over at Ramin when he was singing like "get off your high horse boy before i knock you down!!" 😂😂😂 priceless
Caroline Orr I noticed that Sierra turned to Ramin first, as if she was looking specifically for him to grab her hand first.
Lol that's cause joj boss,Ramin so overrated
POTOGURU25 Theres why a reason why hes overrated tho😂😂😂 He perfect af!
I turned all kinds of shades of red when Ramin started to sing to Sierra. His presence on stage is so powerful. No one can match his charisma. He’s dripping in maleness on stage and not to mention that little devilish smile. Their chemistry is undeniable on stage. Swoon.
right on!
When Ramin is a phantom, looking at his fingers, his soul seems to be filled with phantoms. In particular, his left hand is always acting. I applaud Ramin's passion for acting.
The chemistry between Sierra and Ramin is beautiful. In my opinion Ramin is the best phantom and Sierra is the best Christine
Oh my God, I swear at 3:15 Ramin has Phantom jealousy, like "Wait a second you belong to ME, MY Angel of Music". CHILLS. ALL OF THE CHILLS.
curseyouinternets feels feels feels!!! Everywhere! PHAN FEELS
I totally agree! Ramin does REALLY well with emotions
He knows what us phangirls(and guys) want. Damn him and his awesomeness!! Meant that is all positivity.
arissaprincess321 Yeah... I'm obsessed with him so much i can't finish Pre-Algebra!
I can't be productive in my school work either...and i blame him :)
What do you mean by that? What do their faces do?
@@yehudisfriedman8459 the movement of the mouth, they move their mouth to the side, i imagine they can’t move their face properly because of the makeup and the mask, so they move their mouth away from all of that
The way ramin says " my angel of music " is so possesive!!! Love them
Given that they were in Love Never Dies together, Ramin's Phantom is the only one her Christine CHOSE to be with.
*_And It gave us permission to love each other."_*
Regardless of what you think of Love Never Dies, These two MET because of it, and thus established their versions of Christine and Phantom as endgame, so their chemistry is gonna be off the chart.
I couldn't- _I couldn't leave you._ But I also couldn't leave Hadley."
Their Phantom and Christine are SO intertwined at this point.
That's honestly why I'm grateful for LND, despite not liking the story (love the music, though.) If not for it, Ramin and Sierra probably wouldn't have met and established their friendship, chemistry and trust, which made their performances and dynamic in the RAH performance so spectacular. And the fact that, as you say, they'd already played the Phantom and Christine, with other people in POTO and then with each other in LND, informed and added to their performances in POTO 25, which I'm so glad has been immortalized in DVD/Blu-ray, so new generations of Phans can always watch it, because I'd argue it's the definitive POTO film adaptation (I only put it ahead of the Lon Chaney version because it makes me mad he doesn't get redeemed in that one.)
I can easily ignore LND (apart from listening to the aforementioned excellent songs), but I'm glad that it brought these two together as friends/colleagues, as it resulted in one of the best Phantom/Christine pairings in any POTO show.
Also, that's really interesting to hear Sierra's thoughts on the matter, thanks for sharing!

I love that when the phantoms start singing and Sierra goes over to them, she and Panaro are holding both hands but there's space between them.
