VW Golf Sportwagen TPMS Reset (2016-2019)

How to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on a 2016 VW Golf Sportwagen w/ 1.8L TSI motor (EA888 R4 Petrol non-diesel).
It's incredibly important that you actually check and inflate your tires to the recommended pressure (see driver's side door jamb) before resetting the TPMS. Resetting the TPMS causes the TPMS to memorize that current tire pressure. If you have 50psi in the back and 20psi in the front and reset the TPMS, the TPMS will assume that obviously bad tire pressure is correct. So...again...check the recommended tire pressure (33psi all around for me in the US), inflate to that pressure, then reset the TPMS so that it memorizes the correct pressure and can warn you if/when the actual pressure deviates from what it has memorized.

Dude thanks, I'll try this asap. I tried doing what Google says, drive for 10 minutes at or above 50mph but that didn't reset anything. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Please elaborate. Do you not have the same on-screen options? Do you perform all of the steps in this video, but still encounter the low tire pressure warning?
